Arsenal were in need of a boost - they had lost their first two fixtures, making this their worst start to a league campaign in 38 years. Meanwhile, things were not going according to plan for Graeme Souness as Liverpool manager. Martin Tyler and Andy Gray are the commentators.

Possibly the worst Liverpool team of all time they were horrific that season,lost to Bolton in the 3rd round of the FA Cup,11th in the league by January 93,knocked out of the Coca Cola Cup by Palace in December and out of the the European Cup Winners Cup by Xmas 92. The decline of such a great club was gut wrenching in the space of 18 months.
Well, here´s hoping Man City will one day experience something similar ☺

I'll never forget the way Ian Wright celebrated that goal, it was like seeing your best mate saunter in rocking better clothes, a fresher haircut and a much fitter bird than you. Such a miserable time to be a Liverpool fan

Lol Liverpool have smashed Arsenal many times at Anfield. Including beating the invincibles in 2004 also beat them 5-0 in 1964 to win the league

Sean C d.james he was a very good goal keeper. goal keeping errors are (unlike everyone else on the pitch) easily exposed.
Souness did to Liverpool what Harvey managed at Everton.
This was when Liverpool under sou-mess, had become a very below average team at the start of the premier league era of the early 1990s...
