I agree in the end it comes down to user preferences. Just like in the real race car every driver has their own preferences of seating position and so on.
Hello Stelyian. Legendary video's you make 😮. Inhave triple 38 inch monitors. Should i put them behind my clubsport DD wheelbase or use extension shaft and put them closer ? Your answer would be very helpfull and apreciated 😊
I think with that size 60-70cm eye distance will be way more appropriate and your base is short so you can have it in front of your monitors! 32inch and below will be better behind 🤛
The best proportion between car and world sizes are in rFactor 2. And most natural look in tripple screen in general, are also there. Do not consider me as rF2 fanboy. Just saying my opinion after trying all of them on my tripple 55". And same as you - spent billion hours in search of sweet spot. Also one more thing to consider: some cars, in any sim-game, just looks bad on tripple... Whatever you adjust it just doesn't match expectations and level of immersion in other cars.
I don’t know for the rF2 and I must start testing this sim man and for cockpits on different cars you are so right! I don’t k ow why some looks so bad 🙈
Coming back again to this video now that I finally have the time to upgrade to triples :). Almost have them perfectly aligned now technically, time to delve into the software setup part. Question on that: do you still do the Nvidia surround settings like you did in the "How to Setup Triple Screen" video from four years ago? Or is that step, and the bezel settings there, no longer needed because of the Bezel Free kit and the minus settings you do in ACC?
Great Video as always. Man of Passion. So guys.. what do we lonely single screen 34uw curved ppl do with fov? Will take 2-3 years till I switch to triples (space problems)
Thanks buddy 🍻 If you are around 55-60cm distance I would let personally the sim as it is and not change the fov at all as the stock settings for each sim are good for single screens!
Great setup. Can you tell me the measurement between the two side monitors side to side. The distance between the bezel ends that are closest to the seat. My space is narrow across and want to see if 32 1500r would fit. Thanks
Im still fighting with FOV, for a few years now! Haha for me the calculators always make the world too small, I always get a little closer, things seem to be more realistic, it feels slower, but I have so much more control of the car… but it’s always a struggle to get the camera inside the car to look realistic, I can’t get it right
Thanks for your time and effort making these videos and answering questions! Was wondering what camera you use to record inside cockpit shooting towards your monitors? Is it a GoPro? And which model if so? Thanks again!
great stuff. any recommendations on seats? I have an RSeat from an RSeat RS1 that I want to get rid of and I am having trouble picking a seat I want. I like the material of the seat as it's easy to wipe down, doesn't wear, and I actually don't sweat in it, but I want to be able to sell my old rig with it.
Oh man , I have the Sabelt GT-pad and tested few momos! If I change again will be probably The Mirco RS 1 or RS7 That remind the most comfortable and affordable at the same time
Hi, do you think triple 42 screens right behind the wheelbase would give the same effect and fov as your setup? Or is it better to have smaller monitors closer?
Awesome video mate😀 But i have a question. In one video that i cant find anymore on your channel. You said that the distance from screen setting ingame has to be around 540 mm for a good sense of speed. Even if you sit IRL around 620 mm from the screen. Is that still the way to go? Because i cant find that clip anymore on your channel.
Are you happy with the 1500r curvature? Do you think 1000r would be too much curve? I just got my triple monitor stand and I want to get 31.5" or 32" monitors, but I havent decided between 1000r and 1500r. -Thanks for the amazing content as always 🙏
Hey man, 1000r will develop way too many problems for triples 🙈 It will totally close your cockpit and you won’t be able to go in ! Also the side monitors will be with way too aggressive angle and my wash the colors from your point of view! 1500r is more then perfect buddy🤛
Great content as always! Can I ask whether you use the cockpit view with the hands turned off or the in front of steering wheel view? I have a similar(ish) monitor setup and have to change my distance quite a lot with the front of steering view. Yours seems much better out of the box. Thanks for all your inspiration - my hue lights are now setup also 😊
Hi mate you have the same screen size as me and I’ve followed your settings from a previous video. Have you tried setting up the Ferrari 296 in ACC? I’m struggling big time with the racing nets covering one or both wing mirrors. Would be great to hear whether you’ve managed it and what settings you’ve come to please😊😅 Great vid btw.
Hi. Talking about performance, think you that hig refresh rate and low input lag monitors can take an advantage? If yes there are some improvements in very hig refresh (as in FPS ) or a value around 165/180Hz are enough in title like iRacing? Thanks you.
Yes buddy, there is definitely advantage of that and the refresh rates you mention are absolutely enough as it is almost impossible to get more stable FPS then that on any sim right now
Thankyou RBM, as that was a very informative (& helpful) Part 1 to your most asked questions. I have a followup question please, and if you have a video already done on that subject then I would be grateful for the link, as it is not easy to search for in simple words. But basically I race every Sim in VR, but AMS2 has this weird thing that I can only describe as a "shaky world/track view" that makes me feel the most nauseous out of all the sims I race in VR. But even though you use Triples for your video's - your AMS2 Track footage is always as stable as all your other Sim Video's. So would you mind sharing (or maybe better doing a dedicated video for those that feel ill when playing AMS2? in VR) your own setting for AMS2 please. So I guess I am talking all your MOVEMENT SETTINGS? under the CAMERA TAB (and anything else you might have done to stabilize the track and world view for yourself while you race? (thanks in advance Mr RaceBeyondMatter ; )))
@@SingleRacerSVR There should be enough options in the settings to reduce camera shaking. I was writing about a more shivering picture I had some problems with in the past and might be due to my Buttkickers as well. But I rather cancel VR than tactile feedback.
Hey buddy, for triples I have locked the camera settings to horizon but that doesn’t effect in VR anyway! Honestly I haven’t noticed any discomfort in VR with this sim from shaking point of view but I’m not sure if that is indeed from the general camera settings I use ! I just locked every possible movement in those settings but don’t remember right now exactly how as I’m not home yet ! Find the settings and try to set the camera locked in all the options there and see if do something!
perfect video sir that sim world needs. I checked your sugestion about extention shaft for simucube 2 pro but te maximum lengt of the shaft in simcore is 105 mm. Where can I find a shaft which is 200 mm long for simucube 2 pro sir? Thank you
Hey buddy, I would suggest to look for 120 to 150mm as that will do the job without extending too much the shaft and will give more natural shake and clean FFB I’m still looking for good options as I need one with low profile too !
Simracingbay offers a 150mm Extension for the Simucube systems with a lower profile than the stock one. Just ordered and attached it to the base, it is amazing! The 32 Inch Monitors fit perfectly behind the wheel and you have enough space to sit ~60cm away from it, highly recommend it 😎
Hi Stelyian, on a monitor of 27 you would still have to think a little in reverse compared to 32, since at the same distance and with a smaller diagonal, everything would be much bigger. So what should be done to increase the monitor’s remins, mine is a 610 so bring it to the size of a 32 and then correct pitch and height?
Hi buddy, I have the JCL to be faster rig and right now use the Sabelt GT-pad seat but before had the Mirco RS 1 which still remains my favorite in terms of comfort!
@@chepilevski awesome. thanks! Was it sturdy enough to support your DD base? Also I contacted raceclosser about their cockpit and seats but not answering yet. Wouldn’t that be something you use? Or your not a fan of moving platforms?
hey, why do you shake when your car does? it looks incredibly realistic? is it just like a realistic seat or what? because i also was noticing that the steering wheel also shakes(like when the car jumps, not talking about force feedback)
Hi, I like your videos, very detailed and engaging, but I haven’t found the right answer for the optimal GPU to run triple 32” 1440p ? Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. What GPU you are using and a PC setup in general?
@@chepilevski Thank you very much Steliyan ! Never tried triples, VR or Ultrawide. For almost 2 years I am using a 65” TV and console. It will be massive transformation just to move on triples and PC, let alone the availability for the rest of hardware, pedals, wheel bases and haptic devices. It started with a rig for $1000, than quickly went to $3200 and next year it will be $8000 rig. That is actually great distance and the calculator must give the proper fov buddy! I would set the camera view in the way to see the left monitor and the right front gage !
No buddy! 130 degrees is the inside angle between middle and left or right monitor! The game is trying to project you straight picture in angled monitors so is asking for the out side angle to compensate the angle ! If 180 degrees is straight line and my inside monitors angle is 130 degrees then the out side is 50 degree! I have to set in game 50 degrees angle ! If you set the inside angle to 120 degrees for example mean the outside is 60 degree which we need to put in the game ! Hope makes sense the way I explain it ! In that part of the angle I show with my hands which side is 130 and which 50 !
Hey buddy, I did two years on pro level in iRacing on VR and one of my teammates was using VR as well! I finished fourth and he won the the world championship in rally cross series. I personally was bit faster on VR but it took me few weeks to get used to it! I believe more the the pro players don’t want to switch firstly because they don’t want to risk it and be bit slower for some period of time and secondly the comfort is a big thing on that level ! Also , monitors almost never crash and I lost i title on the last race of long championship because the VR crashed 🙈 They say is bit of lag because VR nativity have like V-sync and there are indeed few milliseconds lag but the depth compensated at least for me and I was able to fight way closer with full awareness!
@@chepilevski realy thank you. Mee too in VR I can fell more depth. I use Quest 2 with stable 120FPS, I'm conscious it isn't the best choice for competitive scenario because it isn't native PCVR headset indeed there are some latency, probably in term of performance without accounting graphics quality valve index is the best headset with better input and projection latency. But hear this from you convinces me about the reason that the gaming monitor have much more performance in terme of input latency.

Hi buddy! You are looking for pedal grip pad but I’m not really sure why you want that ! I personally prefer to nat have grip on the throttle as that allows me to have better more precise control trough gentle movement!
Abit late, but do you think one could accomplish a similar FOV with 1000R 32 monitors?. i have 3 of them then purchased an ultrawide and was considering 3x 43 inch TV's but it appears you get it looking near perfect so i may keep the 3x32's and sell the ultrawide..
How much do you zoom in for iRacing or do you leave that at 0? I saw that you put your FOV at 165 which would make things a bit bigger. I just changed my FOV to 180 and moved my screens (triple 32”) to 60cm away and the inside of the car and dash feel small.
Heey nice video again. but i have a question. in this clip you set the distance to screen ingame to you real distance from screen that is 560 mm but you said in an other clip that de best natural distance 530 mm is so what distance should i use because my real distance is 620 mm but i raced a lot with my ingame distance at 530 mm do i need to change it?

Thanks for the video! 💪 love those insights of yours! 👌 can’t wait for the next one. 👋
Much love brother 🤗
Coming back again to this video now that I finally have the time to upgrade to triples :). Almost have them perfectly aligned now technically, time to delve into the software setup part.
Question on that: do you still do the Nvidia surround settings like you did in the "How to Setup Triple Screen" video from four years ago? Or is that step, and the bezel settings there, no longer needed because of the Bezel Free kit and the minus settings you do in ACC?
Awesome content as always buddy. 👌
Much love , Love for Sim Racing 🤗🍻
Well done video as aways!
Thx buddy 🤛🍻
Great Video as always. Man of Passion.
So guys.. what do we lonely single screen 34uw curved ppl do with fov? Will take 2-3 years till I switch to triples (space problems)
Thanks buddy 🍻
If you are around 55-60cm distance I would let personally the sim as it is and not change the fov at all as the stock settings for each sim are good for single screens!
Great setup. Can you tell me the measurement between the two side monitors side to side. The distance between the bezel ends that are closest to the seat. My space is narrow across and want to see if 32 1500r would fit. Thanks
Hi Steliyan. I suppose the fov settings in ACC are for cockpit view, not for dashboard view, because is not the same.
Happy Christmas!
Yes buddy that’s correct 🤛
Merry Christmas brother 🥳🍻
Im still fighting with FOV, for a few years now! Haha for me the calculators always make the world too small, I always get a little closer, things seem to be more realistic, it feels slower, but I have so much more control of the car… but it’s always a struggle to get the camera inside the car to look realistic, I can’t get it right
Yeh man, it is hard to get proper perspective on flat picture I know 🙈
More nuggets of wisdom thanks :)
After trying everything at 0.0 distance feels better also, less weird under/ oversteer moments

Thanks for your time and effort making these videos and answering questions! Was wondering what camera you use to record inside cockpit shooting towards your monitors? Is it a GoPro? And which model if so? Thanks again!
Thanks for the kind words buddy 🤗
The POV is taken with GoPro 10
PC specs please. and also would you mind giving us your setting list on fov for a good starting point. thanks
Must do that indeed buddy 🤛
great stuff. any recommendations on seats? I have an RSeat from an RSeat RS1 that I want to get rid of and I am having trouble picking a seat I want. I like the material of the seat as it's easy to wipe down, doesn't wear, and I actually don't sweat in it, but I want to be able to sell my old rig with it.
Oh man , I have the Sabelt GT-pad and tested few momos!
If I change again will be probably The Mirco RS 1 or RS7
That remind the most comfortable and affordable at the same time
Hi, do you think triple 42 screens right behind the wheelbase would give the same effect and fov as your setup? Or is it better to have smaller monitors closer?
Yeah, that size must be behind the base and will create the same fov buddy
@@chepilevski Thank you!
Awesome video mate😀
But i have a question.
In one video that i cant find anymore on your channel.
You said that the distance from screen setting ingame has to be around 540 mm for a good sense of speed.
Even if you sit IRL around 620 mm from the screen.
Is that still the way to go?
Because i cant find that clip anymore on your channel.
I would like to see the real rig. Yours seems to be comparable to Boosted Media's rig in terms of how realistic it looks from the cameras.
Hi buddy 🤛
In the description of the video I linked the build of that rig 🍻
Are you happy with the 1500r curvature? Do you think 1000r would be too much curve? I just got my triple monitor stand and I want to get 31.5" or 32" monitors, but I havent decided between 1000r and 1500r.
-Thanks for the amazing content as always 🙏
Hey man, 1000r will develop way too many problems for triples 🙈
It will totally close your cockpit and you won’t be able to go in !
Thanks for all your inspiration - my hue lights are now setup also 😊
Yes David, that’s just the cockpit view with wheel and hands off !
@@chepilevski superb! That's the missing piece of the puzzle (for now) 😂👌
Hi mate you have the same screen size as me and I’ve followed your settings from a previous video.
Thanks you.
Yes buddy, there is definitely advantage of that and the refresh rates you mention are absolutely enough as it is almost impossible to get more stable FPS then that on any sim right now
@@chepilevski thank you Man.
What headset are you using? I had this camera jitter with the Vive Cosmos and Pico 4, but not with the Samsung Odyssey and Pimax 8KX.
@@Leynad778 just the plain old original Rift - but it's apparently a common complaint in AMS2 ever with a Monitor?
@@chepilevski thanks - sounds like a plan ; )))
perfect video sir that sim world needs. I checked your sugestion about extention shaft for simucube 2 pro but te maximum lengt of the shaft in simcore is 105 mm. Where can I find a shaft which is 200 mm long for simucube 2 pro sir? Thank you
Hey buddy, I would suggest to look for 120 to 150mm as that will do the job without extending too much the shaft and will give more natural shake and clean FFB
I’m still looking for good options as I need one with low profile too !
Thank you for your reply sir, than 105mm simcore is the longest for now I think sir. Do you agree ?
Simracingbay offers a 150mm Extension for the Simucube systems with a lower profile than the stock one. Just ordered and attached it to the base, it is amazing! The 32 Inch Monitors fit perfectly behind the wheel and you have enough space to sit ~60cm away from it, highly recommend it 😎
@@LuFtPuMpE_315 it changes the experience at that distance 😃
Hi Stelyian, on a monitor of 27 you would still have to think a little in reverse compared to 32, since at the same distance and with a smaller diagonal, everything would be much bigger. So what should be done to increase the monitor’s remins, mine is a 610 so bring it to the size of a 32 and then correct pitch and height?
Sorry if answered before… what cockpit and seat do you have? Rseat 1? Thank you
Hi buddy, I have the JCL to be faster rig and right now use the Sabelt GT-pad seat but before had the Mirco RS 1 which still remains my favorite in terms of comfort!
Hi buddy, I usually put some high torques wen shutting videos and while the FFB push my body it gets that effect on camera!
Hi, I like your videos, very detailed and engaging, but I haven’t found the right answer for the optimal GPU to run triple 32” 1440p ? Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. What GPU you are using and a PC setup in general?
Hi buddy
I use RTX 3090 with Intel i9 9900k
RTX 4070 and above must be good enough to run triple 1440p decently 🤛
@@chepilevski Thank you very much Steliyan ! Never tried triples, VR or Ultrawide. For almost 2 years I am using a 65” TV and console. It will be massive transformation just to move on triples and PC, let alone the availability for the rest of hardware, pedals, wheel bases and haptic devices. It started with a rig for $1000, than quickly went to $3200 and next year it will be $8000 rig. What do you suggest for a 49" 1000R ultrawide in iRacing? My eyes are 21.5 inches away from the center of the monitor.
That is actually great distance and the calculator must give the proper fov buddy! I would set the camera view in the way to see the left monitor and the right front gage !
Hello! 130º deg angle means your side monitors are put at 65º each from the one in the center?
@@chepilevski It really did help! Its not far off from i have already.
Thank you a lot for talking the time to explain. ♥️
Hi Steliyan, Wath do you think in terms of purely performance about VR compared to triple gaming monitor. Whay pro player don't use headset?
Hey buddy, I did two years on pro level in iRacing on VR and one of my teammates was using VR as well!
I finished fourth and he won the the world championship in rally cross series.
I personally was bit faster on VR but it took me few weeks to get used to it!
I believe more the the pro players don’t want to switch firstly because they don’t want to risk it and be bit slower for some period of time and secondly the comfort is a big thing on that level ! Also , monitors almost never crash and I lost i title on the last race of long championship because the VR crashed 🙈
They say is bit of lag because VR nativity have like V-sync and there are indeed few milliseconds lag but the depth compensated at least for me and I was able to fight way closer with full awareness!
@@laposimoni yeh man , VR have to synchronize before display the pixels and monitors just throw it on the screen in 1 mls
