I actually perfected this method over the course of the past few months using 9 max level characters and there are plenty of tips you left out to maximize time and profit: When introducing archimonde, you saw the cutscene that plays when he dies, this can be annoying unless you have Azeroth Auto Pilot and use the feature that skips cut-scenes on it (Another VERY IMPORTANT thing to note is that once you're done killing each wing, use the macro "/script LeaveParty();" to leave the instance faster than opening up the menu in your portrait) In destructor's rise, killing fel lord alone is a waste of time and the second and third bosses are definitely worth it (if you skip too many bosses in general, i think it makes a much less satisfying run because of the gold you'll be mailing in) SPEAKING OF WHICH, ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT ADDON: Postal has a feature that auto-fills the names of your alts once it learns all of them which is actually priceless for the convenience of gathering all the gold on one character if you're going to be doing this multiple times a day Moving onto mists of pandaria: A common mistake by people using this method is that they dont vendor their items to Bran Bronzebeard because he appears as an archaeology trainer. Seasoned archaeologists will know that he is actually a vendor as well. Along with this, walking outside to use a mammoth mount is precious time wasted when you can get the addon "Dialogue Key" walk up to bran, press 2, and vendor everything to him. Another very important note is to sell ALL of the pets you get from the first three pandaria raids IF your server has a higher than average sale rate of them. They're part of a raiding with leashes achievement and many people dont know they drop from lfr. Other than that, i personally use a much more compact route as i like to do this run in about 10-20 minutes or so: Archimonde, Fel Lord, The Dude After Fel Lord, Mannoroth, Helfire High Council, Killrogg. All of Heart of Fear. All of Terrace of The Endless Spring. Mogu'shan is optional. Instead of filling out the hour to wait for instance lockout to stop being the worst thing ever added to the game, i actually use the game trying to stop me from playing the game as an excuse to stop playing the game since sitting around killing the same dozen bosses will make you crazy after weeks of using this method. Which is why i actually dont do this anymore myself, your mental health CAN AND WILL deteriorate if you do this on as many characters as i have. Its scary to think that the cap per realm is 50 now... It very much depends what your goal is. There's no absolute mathematical answer without defining specific criteria. I tend to farm for short periods-for those who prefer marathon sessions more bosses are optimal. @@archvaldor Azeroth auto pilot does more harm than good occasionally, but its impossible to understate how helpful it is when youve been playing this game for years upon years. The mere thought of mousing over to the accept button on a quest sends shivers down my spine, and i use dialogue key's spacebar tactic as a backup even when i dont enable AAP just because i hate it that much.
@@SUScorporation that's the default behaviour, you can switch it to skip all cut scenes period, or none. The time saved can not be that great though, the game sometimes uses cut scenes to hide loading screens and stuff, so you can end up just twiddling your thumbs while the bridge in the Firelands loads for instance, giving yourself the option to skip/not can sometimes be preferable Edit: to explain further, you usually can save some time by skipping, but when there's going to be unavoidable downtime either way, I find that when I skip, I will feel compelled to wait till the obstruction is over to make the most optimal use of the time, when it would probably make more sense and healthier to use the interruption as an excuse for a bio break

The mail thing dose NOT send you actual raw gold, only items. So not looting will cause you to lose some gold if you just get everything from the mail box.

I find it funny that no one seens to pay attention to this. I'm altoholic and am sitting right now at 28 lv 120s. They all have their cheap benthic armor, and do a nice damage for old content like this. I farm literaly around 100k every week by just doing the WoD LFR with them. I already bought my brutosaur, spider and a few of the 300k to 500k stuff that is around. You also get some cool transmogs in the way.
@@Orpheeus97 It is! As I said, I of course do it over and over again with every characther. But since you just started and problaby don't have a lot of alts you can also go to the actual raids and farm them in Normal, Heroic and Mythic difficult, WoD ones drop 5-6 itens each boss, most of whats sell at any vendors for 40-60 gold. You get transmogs, and Mythic ones sometimes drop mounts. Super easy money!
@@manuelcastillo9526 I play about 2 hours most days. Sunday is usually the day I play the most, but I don't farm everyday. When I'm running low on gold I farm 2 or 3 chars everyday. It's 15k if I do only LFR, and 30k or so if I take the time to also farm at least one draenor raid in 3 chars

@Valatore Not so. As Archvaldor mentions in this video, the city portals now go to Jade Forest. @Filthy Casual is correct that only mages have a portal to the Vale now. Not everyone knows the monk Class hall has a portal to Kun Lai. The flight from there to the Loremaster is slightly shorter than from the Jade Forest portal for Alliance. I don’t know about horde portal location in Jade Forest. I quit playing horde before MoP.

I just want to say there is a shortcut to the Isle of Thunder if you want to go to the actual raid. If you queue up any LFR raids on the Isle of Thunder you can use the toy Kirin Tor Beacon to take you to the actual Isle of Thunder instantly without having to fly all the way there.
Oh yeah that's a good one-I was looking for an excuse to use it. Problem is that even with that trick it is difficult to make the heroic instance work because it is still a trek from the faction camps. Vital if you are a completist though, saves a lot of time.

I didn't even know about the WoD Garrison LFR Vendor. I'm glad upgrading my garrisons wasn't a complete waste of time. Thanks mate! For people with minimal time available, this is ideal. Hearth to Garrison, complete the LFR's, Hearth back to your main hub, log-on to alt and repeat.
OMG this makes raiding so easy. I had no idea you could get to raids like this. Much funner than running one dungeon 10 times an hour like someone else suggested. And you can make more money. Skyreach is boring and annoying with that wind feature slowing you down. I tested the LFR part in Draenor and Panda once so far and I'm making so much gold - 15k after doing all of the choices! I didn't record the time though. I'm sure to get faster when I run my two other 120s. And tomorrow raids reset....tons of cash for flipping or saving for my bronto mount! I joined your patreon and I see you have over 800 patrons now. :) I have to work more on legion to get into argus. I hope I can get into iron docks without doing too much work in draenor - just to open it is a huge time suck. I've been spoiled by the free 100 110 and 120 I got from upgrading wow. It's coming back to haunt me because I can't even fly in draenor or legion.

Hey, I just found your channel after starting to get serious about trying to get a Brontosaur before the expansion ends and I love the route. I do have one question/suggestion though. I see that you go to the Socrethar after Iskar and was wondering is that really a faster route/kill than going to Xhul'horac after Zakuun? Theres only 1 set of minibosses to get the boss and its a straight shot from Zakuun's room. As another bonus, right after the fight (in LFR) you get ported directly to Mannoroth, so there would be no downtime there. Any thoughts?
I think you might well be right. The point of the video is "you can use LFR to eliminate the downtime running between bosses"-something no one else has ever mentioned. I didn't mathematically optimize every transition I'm just going on hunches which are somewhat subjective anyway, so there's a lot of scope for improvement.
small little bug I found, after the first boss of ToT if you use an inky black potion you are able to mount in the unmountable zone between the first and second bosses, this makes it alot faster
I did the WoD bosses you mention in 8 minutes for around 1200g which seems really nice. ;) Now moving to Pandaria as a non mage character i port to SW and then Shawdon (spelling) Village, then taxi to Shrine and fly to the LFR guy which takes me around 3 minutes (give or take 5/10 seconds). Then i did Dread Approach on HoF which took me around 6 minutes (i can do this faster once i learn how to clear the rooms faster) which brings me to the total of 2000g for 17 minutes; Then NIghtmare for a total of 2750g and 21 minutes; Terrace for a total of 3450g and 26 minutes; 3 bosses at Mogushan 4000g and 30 minutes; Tortos 4250g, 31 minutes Lone boss at SoF and port to garrison: 4400g, 33 minutes. Taxi to Iron Docks got me to the 36 minute mark, one run at mythic: 5200g, 43 minutes. Then i got bored :D. So by my experience i suppose i'll be trying it again so i can do it a bit faster. Anyway those 4000g for the 1st 30 minutes is very good. Thanks and congratulations there ;)

I did Archimonde and T'Kuun yesterday with my boosted 110 Protection Paladin, and neither of them dropped more than around 70g (counting both actual gold and the vendor price of items) each, and Archimonde also had no loot on the second attempt, even after an instance reset. I assume Blizzard may have changed things since you posted this video. Also, the instance lockout for the Iron Docks in my experience, (another instance which I have farmed, following your suggestions) only allows one run per 18 hours on Heroic difficulty. Blizzard seem to have massively tightened up the Heroic lockout times, since I was only able to run Heroic Trial of the Champion twice before being locked out of that for 17 hours as well.

lfr-norm-heroic-mythic brf & hfc clears in 2 hours 20 mins is 26k, can easily make 100K+ in a day on reset doing all the old cata mop and wod raids. I average 120k as a mage, and its well known, doing it for a long long time now.
@@albertgeorgy6827 It is a quick accumulation of gold, raw gold, that adds up. The concept is not about making a millions gold in looted item value but instead making raw gold in a short time that can be done weekly.
Hey, Archvaldor. Just as a question: How worth do you, objectively, think is it to become a patreon of yours? I have played around with the idea ever since the Mogu'Shan Vault video but I am not entirely certain how many of this sort of methodic farming you have on your patreon. So far the Vault method has been the most lucrative one for me personally, as I prefer to do the same run several times over doing several different things on different characters.
I don't think you can be objective. For example I have an active gold dupe on the patreon which I know I could have sold to a private buyer for $3000. But a lot of people would have difficulty making the most of it and some don't even understand why it is so valuable and never will-this stuff isn't for everybody. A lot of people are simply just scared of getting banned. My guess is you are a chill person who likes casual gold farming and gameplay (no bad thing) so my guess would be this is not for you, but if you ever get curious you will be very welcome:)

Farmed a lot of gold with your advice! great video and *highly* appreciate the editing. Didn't have to watch and listen to 90% bullshit like certain other videos.
Here something that you can do in Draenor during the lockout time. If you have a level 3 Barn in your garrison and at least 1 character with a Trading Post, farm Savage Bloods from the beasts in Nagrand. One order equal one blood (with follower working at the barn) which averages 50 gold when traded at the Trading Post. The max number you can put into the Barn at one time is 36. (Starts at 26, forgot what to do to get there.) If you use your classes speed/distance skills effectively, you can catch 36 in easily 10 minutes. 10 minutes for 1800 gold worth of work. Sure, it takes about a week for every order to go through, but this is a video about doing weeklies anyway. If you're down the creatures in one hit, no problem. Just get naked. Seriously! Your gear is too overpowered for them. One or two punches will put them in the range of getting trapped. If you do this with multiple alts, you will end up with a bunch, A BUNCH, of mats. You could put them in the Auction House, but let's stick to the theme of raw gold here. Stash them until one of the mat traders visits one of your characters garrisons. 75 mats (leathers/furs) equals 25 Primal Spirits which you can sell to the Primal Trader for 1 Blood, in turn, about another 50 gold. A solution for if you find yourself with too many mats to move. Of course, you can use 1000 Garrison Resources for a Barn Rush Order. That will complete 5 orders instantly, giving you 5 Bloods and an average of 100 mats. Lumber Mills are very friendly for this, but gathering wood in order to get an extra Rush Order or two is a little time consuming. If you do go with this plan, just add an extra 5 traps per Rush Order. Honestly, the worst part about this is trading the Savage Bloods for the sacks of gold. You can only buy one at time and then you have to click the sack in your inventory. I hope you have Auto Loot enabled. If there's an addon for opening such items in your inventory, I recommend doing something like that. No, the real worst part is if you didn't have a level 3 Barn on any of your characters in the first place. Only a level 3 Barn can process Savage Bloods, but you can only get the plans for the upgrade after making 125 orders! At four hours to process an order, it will take 500 hours or ~21 days! ...Yeah, those Rush Orders shave off just a little bit under a day. A lot of work for a very profitable 10 minutes a week, but you only need to do it once per account. Then the level 3 blueprints can be bought by any character. Sweet, sweet mercy! Again, this is not taking the Auction House into account. This is the expected bare minimum. Don't underestimate or neglect your Garrison!
a tip for the pandaria part is to have ur hearthstone set there. since u can get everywhere else faster with dalaran hs and other teleports available to all classes
Hey man just wanted to say a thanks for the Heart of fear farm tip, With the right DH vengeance build ive been able to get my runs down to a fine art getting instance lock in 13 mins farming over 2.2k gold with just vendoring items (thats not including the time for lockbox opening though so bit over 13 mins) Great tips man love ya work!

What i like most about this farm is that on top of the raw gold you will occasionally get pets that can be worth farming for even without the raw gold (20k in pets that are popular enough that they sold in less than 2 days, on top of the raw gold);
Yeah those are a nice bonus. I didn't mention them because then many people would assume they had to sell things on the ah to make decent gold and miss the point completely, but you can make a nice stream of gold.
What class/race would you best recommend for farming gold especially if your someone that like farming dungeons and the best professions to help with it . for both factions if possible
Most serious gold farmers seem to going with kitty druid. Professions is a big subject-gathering is a good introduction (mining and herbing). Faction doesn't really affect gold farming that much.

@@archvaldor Dunno why YT didn't notify me of the reply. Yeah, I agree, there's still lingering bugs from vanilla in BFA. Not really sure what their bug fix team is doing. I think they only really care about exploits if it actually breaks the game in some fundamental way. Otherwise, the 15$ a month they get from 1.5 million people, apparently just isn't enough to justify fixing most of the game.
Without running the last 2 heroics in this guide, I made 6,867 raw gold following this video to the letter. Heroic FL gives more for an hour of trash farming and you are not bouncing all over Hell and half of Delaware. Take a potion of treasure finding and and just kill trash for 9 runs should take you 45 mins max, then complete the raid for the 10th run that simple.
I mean, people, including myself, have been doing this every week just running all lfrs. 6-8k for all mop lfr, 7-10k for WoD lfr, 4-6k running normal through mythic in Highmaul, 9-13k for running Blackrock Foundry, and to cap it out, Hellfire on normal and heroic for 7k. All can be done in about 5-6 hours of runtime each week.
Instance lockout is counted per global instance. So if you hit instance lockout but you haven't done a siege of orgrimmar vision you can run it, but if one of those ten runs was part of throne of thunder you can't run another tot vision. Btw adsense is a very minor part of my income. I have no reason to drag out videos-in fact I try to make them as short as possible.
No reason not to run full Iron Docks. You might to just kill the trash around the first boss in seat-the reason is that this is a GREAT ten minute raw gold farm which can be run repeatedly. If you kill all the bosses then that is it for the week. Even though I tend to pursue higher returns than you get from any raw gold farm, sometimes I just kill all the trash till lockout for fun when I have ten minutes only before I have to do something in RL.

Market for Tmog etc is ruint on my server cause of Streamers + their fans invading it and running prices down in the mud... so these tips are really helpful now that I am depressed over my used-to-be favorite way to make gold. Yeah I know what you mean-I still do tmog because ultimately it can still be very profitable but it has got a lot more difficult. I feel your pain. I doubt they will nerf this frankly, people were doing it anyway, just probably not quite as efficiently.
The point of these raw gold videos is to avoid the AH. The AH is almost completely dead for me-I'm not selling anything but mats for current content. I would not be motivated to spend any time trying to sell legacy items at this moment in time because literally no legacy items are selling fast or even at all. If that strategy works for you I'd strongly encourage to make a video yourself (it will get lots of views) and I'll help promote it and say I was wrong.

Go for it if you have enough time, you can flip if you have enough gold, gather and sell materials at the ah and farm legion invasions, depending on your earnings with flipping at the ah you can get the 5M in a shorter amount of time. You can watch videos about flipping if you don't know how to.
Raw gold is generally not a high enough gold rate for me to consider it patreon-worthy. I will in fact post a raw gold guide in the next few days on patreon but that will essentially present the information in an upcoming public video. Any sizeable raw gold dupes I find will be on patreon only but those don't come up that often.

This video got over quarter of a million views, and has a high like to dislike ratio (especially for this channel which is controversial in nature). So, obviously for many people, yes, it is worth it. If you mean "can I make more doing other stuff"? Yes, you can. There are dozens of methods on my patreon which yield significantly more profit, sometimes 400-500% more. However, they are not always easy, without risk or fun to do.

So, what raid trash farm do you find the most lucrative and fun - is it Heart of Fear, or the Mogushan Vaults? Also what do you suggest to do with the blue tiems from the latter? P.S.: Raw gold farm is the way to go for me as it's fun. If one tends to work on auction house for some bigger profits he might as well just go and trade on the stock market for that matter. Well, mogu'shan trash doesn't drop any raw gold in the literal sense-it is motes and greens mostly. So, HOF definitely. Btw I made this video specifically because I know many people like you just hate the AH, but selling the motes is pretty easy frankly, if you are going to sell anything sell those, shouldn't take more than a few days if you price them to sell.
@@archvaldor oh, I don't hate AH in general, selling craft materials is quite simple indeed (and a bit rewarding to know that you were kind of of service). What I hate is to sell rare pets/transmorgs on my dying Thermoplugg realm, or especially to use TSM to monitor which items can bring huge profits and then constantly reapply one's stock etc. Thank you for the video that considers our needs and preferences! If I return to the game, this video will be one of the reasons to do so.
Very efficient gold farming method. p.s. This sort of thing is precisely why a) sub numbers have dropped from a peak of 12,000,000 to well below that number and b) why many people can't wait for the launch of Classic in August.
@@Tethmes People quit because the game is so dumbed down no one bothers to waste their time with it. The fact anyone can hop around like this and make thousands of gold in minutes totally devalues the currency and removes any actual reason to play the game. The sub numbers cratering is the surest measure that this easy-mode gameplay is rapidly destroying the game.
This isn't alliance specific. The seer is in the horde garrison also. The pandas in the seat of knowledge can be used by both factions. There is almost no practical difference.

Just noticed he was using an alliance char and wasn't sure because I haven't gotten my garrison done yet I'm only lvl 114 but I've done the iron docks thing and though it's not getting me as much because of my level and not having a bunch of aoe attacks that slows down the process. too bad their wasn't a shortcut out of it instead of needing to walk all the way back the way you came lol. but was helpful thanks.
I just tested this myself on a DK (slow on purpose) around ilevel 403 (low on purpose). I finished all activities and I only ended up with a total of 10,317 gold for about 2 hours of work (little slow because I didn't have certain flightpoints... doh). In the video you mention this should yield roughly 10,000 gold per hour, which would imply about 20,000 gold for the 2 hours. I must have missed something?

You are joking but there is actually quite a high probability he will literally do that. I once made a top 10 video 40 seconds of which were devoted to using critter bites to get a lot of sheep to follow me around-it was a pointless segment I basically only added so I could get to 10 things. Vaulty took the idea and stretched it out for an entire ten minute video.
@@CaMiLuX2515 okay, good. For a minute there I was worried that they nerfed the gold drop from bosses like they did in Firelands. I have 10 Alliance at max level so I have been running HFC weekly on all of them, or as many as I can get to, on LFR normal heroic and mythic difficulty 25 man. The trash is literally garbage when it comes to gold drops, but all of the bosses gold plus the vendor stuff about 3K each run. That's just about 12K+ per toon, so 120-130K a week if I'm lucky LOL
A lot of this is by design, but you did streamline it quite well. When wow tokens first became available, it was cataclysm raids and possibly MoP raids you farmed for gold. At first they "fixed" that, but outcry from raw gold farmers made them take a bit more consideration in gold adjustment in future expansions. When 8.1 came out, they revealed the new raiding with leashes in MoP for the Happiness pet, and they did go into the fact that they wanted MoP and WoD to be the new farming areas, and the new battle pets were meant to be icing on the cake to make up for a slightly less lucrative raw gold experience than was available in the past. Basically the math is that in terms of raw gold, they want 5k per hour to be the bog standard, as that equates to about 40 hours a month of gold farming to afford 1 wow token, which is quite a lot of time and dedication and thus "deserving", but if you are up to date with content and very clever, you can push that to 10-15k per hour, cutting the grind down considerably. Of course, they don't want you to make any more than that at maximum for raw gold in order to stimulate the auction house and maintain wow token's real world value. This is just information I've heard or have worked out for myself, so I could easily be wrong, but that's what I believe to be the mentality at play here.
It should be around 8000-12k gold per hour invested. "Showing" gold would depend very much on the toon I use, that's something that other youtubers do which is very deceptive. I tried this with my main and I ended up with 30K which isn't remotely viable for most people for various reasons.
So question i might have just over looked this or am just having issues thinking it through but how is this hourly if you kill the bosses cause I thought if you killed them it became locked and they didn't re spawn for another weekly reset
Yep this is weekly. Once you get locked out, do skyreach (see video for skips) and/or iron docks and/or other draneor dungeons and/or seat of the triumvirate (if you have it unlocked) and/or freehold (if you have excellent gear).
@@deroestheknight7853 Yah. What you are trying to avoid is running, say, all the way through SOO because that's really inefficient, so do the LFR bosses where you can port straight into a boss and then split. Doing Docks or Skyreach is going to be faster after you've done the cream of the crop.

Not really time efficient but well when there is nothing in the game to do, i run all of the LFR wings of WOD and MOP and normal/heroic/mythic of WOD raids and heroic 25 MOP raids and get 20-25k raw gold per character i do it on per week. Takes me roughly 3-4 hours per character per week if im going fast.

I actually perfected this method over the course of the past few months using 9 max level characters and there are plenty of tips you left out to maximize time and profit:
When introducing archimonde, you saw the cutscene that plays when he dies, this can be annoying unless you have Azeroth Auto Pilot and use the feature that skips cut-scenes on it (Another VERY IMPORTANT thing to note is that once you're done killing each wing, use the macro "/script LeaveParty();" to leave the instance faster than opening up the menu in your portrait)
In destructor's rise, killing fel lord alone is a waste of time and the second and third bosses are definitely worth it (if you skip too many bosses in general, i think it makes a much less satisfying run because of the gold you'll be mailing in)
SPEAKING OF WHICH, ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT ADDON: Postal has a feature that auto-fills the names of your alts once it learns all of them which is actually priceless for the convenience of gathering all the gold on one character if you're going to be doing this multiple times a day
Moving onto mists of pandaria:
A common mistake by people using this method is that they dont vendor their items to Bran Bronzebeard because he appears as an archaeology trainer. Seasoned archaeologists will know that he is actually a vendor as well. Along with this, walking outside to use a mammoth mount is precious time wasted when you can get the addon "Dialogue Key" walk up to bran, press 2, and vendor everything to him.
Another very important note is to sell ALL of the pets you get from the first three pandaria raids IF your server has a higher than average sale rate of them. They're part of a raiding with leashes achievement and many people dont know they drop from lfr.
Other than that, i personally use a much more compact route as i like to do this run in about 10-20 minutes or so:
Archimonde, Fel Lord, The Dude After Fel Lord, Mannoroth, Helfire High Council, Killrogg.
All of Heart of Fear. All of Terrace of The Endless Spring. Mogu'shan is optional.
Instead of filling out the hour to wait for instance lockout to stop being the worst thing ever added to the game, i actually use the game trying to stop me from playing the game as an excuse to stop playing the game since sitting around killing the same dozen bosses will make you crazy after weeks of using this method.
Which is why i actually dont do this anymore myself, your mental health CAN AND WILL deteriorate if you do this on as many characters as i have. Its scary to think that the cap per realm is 50 now...
Edit: You should also do WOD last after mists because it has a mailbox next to the queue npc

It very much depends what your goal is. There's no absolute mathematical answer without defining specific criteria. I tend to farm for short periods-for those who prefer marathon sessions more bosses are optimal.

@@archvaldor Azeroth auto pilot does more harm than good occasionally, but its impossible to understate how helpful it is when youve been playing this game for years upon years. The mere thought of mousing over to the accept button on a quest sends shivers down my spine, and i use dialogue key's spacebar tactic as a backup even when i dont enable AAP just because i hate it that much.
I think something like bigwigs bossmods has an option to skip cutscenes you have already seen

@@SUScorporation that's the default behaviour, you can switch it to skip all cut scenes period, or none.
The time saved can not be that great though, the game sometimes uses cut scenes to hide loading screens and stuff, so you can end up just twiddling your thumbs while the bridge in the Firelands loads for instance, giving yourself the option to skip/not can sometimes be preferable
Edit: to explain further, you usually can save some time by skipping, but when there's going to be unavoidable downtime either way, I find that when I skip, I will feel compelled to wait till the obstruction is over to make the most optimal use of the time, when it would probably make more sense and healthier to use the interruption as an excuse for a bio break

The mail thing dose NOT send you actual raw gold, only items. So not looting will cause you to lose some gold if you just get everything from the mail box.

I find it funny that no one seens to pay attention to this. I'm altoholic and am sitting right now at 28 lv 120s. They all have their cheap benthic armor, and do a nice damage for old content like this. I farm literaly around 100k every week by just doing the WoD LFR with them. I already bought my brutosaur, spider and a few of the 300k to 500k stuff that is around. You also get some cool transmogs in the way.

But since you just started and problaby don't have a lot of alts you can also go to the actual raids and farm them in Normal, Heroic and Mythic difficult, WoD ones drop 5-6 itens each boss, most of whats sell at any vendors for 40-60 gold. You get transmogs, and Mythic ones sometimes drop mounts. Super easy money!

@Valatore Not so. As Archvaldor mentions in this video, the city portals now go to Jade Forest. @Filthy Casual is correct that only mages have a portal to the Vale now. Not everyone knows the monk Class hall has a portal to Kun Lai. The flight from there to the Loremaster is slightly shorter than from the Jade Forest portal for Alliance. I don’t know about horde portal location in Jade Forest. I quit playing horde before MoP.

I just want to say there is a shortcut to the Isle of Thunder if you want to go to the actual raid. If you queue up any LFR raids on the Isle of Thunder you can use the toy Kirin Tor Beacon to take you to the actual Isle of Thunder instantly without having to fly all the way there.
Oh yeah that's a good one-I was looking for an excuse to use it. Problem is that even with that trick it is difficult to make the heroic instance work because it is still a trek from the faction camps. Vital if you are a completist though, saves a lot of time.

For people with minimal time available, this is ideal. Hearth to Garrison, complete the LFR's, Hearth back to your main hub, log-on to alt and repeat.
OMG this makes raiding so easy. I had no idea you could get to raids like this. Much funner than running one dungeon 10 times an hour like someone else suggested. And you can make more money. Skyreach is boring and annoying with that wind feature slowing you down. I tested the LFR part in Draenor and Panda once so far and I'm making so much gold - 15k after doing all of the choices! I didn't record the time though. I'm sure to get faster when I run my two other 120s. And tomorrow raids reset....tons of cash for flipping or saving for my bronto mount! I joined your patreon and I see you have over 800 patrons now. :) I have to work more on legion to get into argus. I hope I can get into iron docks without doing too much work in draenor - just to open it is a huge time suck. I've been spoiled by the free 100 110 and 120 I got from upgrading wow. It's coming back to haunt me because I can't even fly in draenor or legion.

Hey, I just found your channel after starting to get serious about trying to get a Brontosaur before the expansion ends and I love the route. I do have one question/suggestion though. I see that you go to the Socrethar after Iskar and was wondering is that really a faster route/kill than going to Xhul'horac after Zakuun? Theres only 1 set of minibosses to get the boss and its a straight shot from Zakuun's room. As another bonus, right after the fight (in LFR) you get ported directly to Mannoroth, so there would be no downtime there. Any thoughts?
I think you might well be right. The point of the video is "you can use LFR to eliminate the downtime running between bosses"-something no one else has ever mentioned. I didn't mathematically optimize every transition I'm just going on hunches which are somewhat subjective anyway, so there's a lot of scope for improvement.
small little bug I found, after the first boss of ToT if you use an inky black potion you are able to mount in the unmountable zone between the first and second bosses, this makes it alot faster
I did the WoD bosses you mention in 8 minutes for around 1200g which seems really nice. ;)
Now moving to Pandaria as a non mage character i port to SW and then Shawdon (spelling) Village, then taxi to Shrine and fly to the LFR guy which takes me around 3 minutes (give or take 5/10 seconds).
Then i did Dread Approach on HoF which took me around 6 minutes (i can do this faster once i learn how to clear the rooms faster) which brings me to the total of 2000g for 17 minutes;
Then NIghtmare for a total of 2750g and 21 minutes;
Terrace for a total of 3450g and 26 minutes;
3 bosses at Mogushan 4000g and 30 minutes;
Tortos 4250g, 31 minutes
Lone boss at SoF and port to garrison: 4400g, 33 minutes.
Taxi to Iron Docks got me to the 36 minute mark, one run at mythic: 5200g, 43 minutes.
Then i got bored :D.
So by my experience i suppose i'll be trying it again so i can do it a bit faster. Anyway those 4000g for the 1st 30 minutes is very good. Thanks and congratulations there ;)

I did Archimonde and T'Kuun yesterday with my boosted 110 Protection Paladin, and neither of them dropped more than around 70g (counting both actual gold and the vendor price of items) each, and Archimonde also had no loot on the second attempt, even after an instance reset. I assume Blizzard may have changed things since you posted this video.
Also, the instance lockout for the Iron Docks in my experience, (another instance which I have farmed, following your suggestions) only allows one run per 18 hours on Heroic difficulty. Blizzard seem to have massively tightened up the Heroic lockout times, since I was only able to run Heroic Trial of the Champion twice before being locked out of that for 17 hours as well.
You don't get full loot below 120. This has always been the case. Blizzard don't care about this. Docks has always been one time only on heroic.

lfr-norm-heroic-mythic brf & hfc clears in 2 hours 20 mins is 26k, can easily make 100K+ in a day on reset doing all the old cata mop and wod raids. I average 120k as a mage, and its well known, doing it for a long long time now.
Is it possible to do multiple difficulties in one week? If I do normal, can I do heroic and mythic after? I'm confused with those lockouts

Hey, Archvaldor. Just as a question: How worth do you, objectively, think is it to become a patreon of yours?
I have played around with the idea ever since the Mogu'Shan Vault video but I am not entirely certain how many of this sort of methodic farming you have on your patreon.
So far the Vault method has been the most lucrative one for me personally, as I prefer to do the same run several times over doing several different things on different characters.
I don't think you can be objective. For example I have an active gold dupe on the patreon which I know I could have sold to a private buyer for $3000. But a lot of people would have difficulty making the most of it and some don't even understand why it is so valuable and never will-this stuff isn't for everybody. A lot of people are simply just scared of getting banned. My guess is you are a chill person who likes casual gold farming and gameplay (no bad thing) so my guess would be this is not for you, but if you ever get curious you will be very welcome:)

Here something that you can do in Draenor during the lockout time.
If you have a level 3 Barn in your garrison and at least 1 character with a Trading Post, farm Savage Bloods from the beasts in Nagrand. One order equal one blood (with follower working at the barn) which averages 50 gold when traded at the Trading Post. The max number you can put into the Barn at one time is 36. (Starts at 26, forgot what to do to get there.) If you use your classes speed/distance skills effectively, you can catch 36 in easily 10 minutes. 10 minutes for 1800 gold worth of work. Sure, it takes about a week for every order to go through, but this is a video about doing weeklies anyway.
If you're down the creatures in one hit, no problem. Just get naked. Seriously! Your gear is too overpowered for them. One or two punches will put them in the range of getting trapped.
If you do this with multiple alts, you will end up with a bunch, A BUNCH, of mats. You could put them in the Auction House, but let's stick to the theme of raw gold here. Stash them until one of the mat traders visits one of your characters garrisons. 75 mats (leathers/furs) equals 25 Primal Spirits which you can sell to the Primal Trader for 1 Blood, in turn, about another 50 gold. A solution for if you find yourself with too many mats to move.
Of course, you can use 1000 Garrison Resources for a Barn Rush Order. That will complete 5 orders instantly, giving you 5 Bloods and an average of 100 mats. Lumber Mills are very friendly for this, but gathering wood in order to get an extra Rush Order or two is a little time consuming. If you do go with this plan, just add an extra 5 traps per Rush Order.
Honestly, the worst part about this is trading the Savage Bloods for the sacks of gold. You can only buy one at time and then you have to click the sack in your inventory. I hope you have Auto Loot enabled. If there's an addon for opening such items in your inventory, I recommend doing something like that.
No, the real worst part is if you didn't have a level 3 Barn on any of your characters in the first place. Only a level 3 Barn can process Savage Bloods, but you can only get the plans for the upgrade after making 125 orders! At four hours to process an order, it will take 500 hours or ~21 days! ...Yeah, those Rush Orders shave off just a little bit under a day. A lot of work for a very profitable 10 minutes a week, but you only need to do it once per account. Then the level 3 blueprints can be bought by any character. Sweet, sweet mercy!
Again, this is not taking the Auction House into account. This is the expected bare minimum.
Don't underestimate or neglect your Garrison!
That's a great write-up. Stick it on a blog and slap on an adsense link you'll make a few pennies.

a tip for the pandaria part is to have ur hearthstone set there. since u can get everywhere else faster with dalaran hs and other teleports available to all classes

Hey man just wanted to say a thanks for the Heart of fear farm tip, With the right DH vengeance build ive been able to get my runs down to a fine art getting instance lock in 13 mins farming over 2.2k gold with just vendoring items (thats not including the time for lockbox opening though so bit over 13 mins) Great tips man love ya work!

What i like most about this farm is that on top of the raw gold you will occasionally get pets that can be worth farming for even without the raw gold (20k in pets that are popular enough that they sold in less than 2 days, on top of the raw gold);
Yeah those are a nice bonus. I didn't mention them because then many people would assume they had to sell things on the ah to make decent gold and miss the point completely, but you can make a nice stream of gold.
Are lockouts global account wide? LIke is it 10 instances between all characters or just per character?

Most serious gold farmers seem to going with kitty druid. Professions is a big subject-gathering is a good introduction (mining and herbing). Faction doesn't really affect gold farming that much.

Without running the last 2 heroics in this guide, I made 6,867 raw gold following this video to the letter. Heroic FL gives more for an hour of trash farming and you are not bouncing all over Hell and half of Delaware. Take a potion of treasure finding and and just kill trash for 9 runs should take you 45 mins max, then complete the raid for the 10th run that simple.

I mean, people, including myself, have been doing this every week just running all lfrs. 6-8k for all mop lfr, 7-10k for WoD lfr, 4-6k running normal through mythic in Highmaul, 9-13k for running Blackrock Foundry, and to cap it out, Hellfire on normal and heroic for 7k. All can be done in about 5-6 hours of runtime each week.

Instance lockout is counted per global instance. So if you hit instance lockout but you haven't done a siege of orgrimmar vision you can run it, but if one of those ten runs was part of throne of thunder you can't run another tot vision. Btw adsense is a very minor part of my income. I have no reason to drag out videos-in fact I try to make them as short as possible.

No reason not to run full Iron Docks. You might to just kill the trash around the first boss in seat-the reason is that this is a GREAT ten minute raw gold farm which can be run repeatedly. If you kill all the bosses then that is it for the week. Even though I tend to pursue higher returns than you get from any raw gold farm, sometimes I just kill all the trash till lockout for fun when I have ten minutes only before I have to do something in RL.

Does farming mobs on HC rather than LFR will yield more gold? For example: in Heart of fear first tier mobs?

It isn't that difficult to get out with a growth glitch. Just run a search on youtube there's several vids.

The point of these raw gold videos is to avoid the AH. The AH is almost completely dead for me-I'm not selling anything but mats for current content. I would not be motivated to spend any time trying to sell legacy items at this moment in time because literally no legacy items are selling fast or even at all. If that strategy works for you I'd strongly encourage to make a video yourself (it will get lots of views) and I'll help promote it and say I was wrong.

Go for it if you have enough time, you can flip if you have enough gold, gather and sell materials at the ah and farm legion invasions, depending on your earnings with flipping at the ah you can get the 5M in a shorter amount of time. You can watch videos about flipping if you don't know how to.
Jewelcrafters and Blacksmith's can also open the lockboxes with cheap keys if you don't have a rogue
Cameron Carson those keys aren't cheap at all on my realm, though scroll of unlocking are.

Raw gold is generally not a high enough gold rate for me to consider it patreon-worthy. I will in fact post a raw gold guide in the next few days on patreon but that will essentially present the information in an upcoming public video. Any sizeable raw gold dupes I find will be on patreon only but those don't come up that often.

This video got over quarter of a million views, and has a high like to dislike ratio (especially for this channel which is controversial in nature). So, obviously for many people, yes, it is worth it.
If you mean "can I make more doing other stuff"? Yes, you can. There are dozens of methods on my patreon which yield significantly more profit, sometimes 400-500% more. However, they are not always easy, without risk or fun to do.

Once per week per character. After that I'd recommend running Iron Docks or Heart Of Fear for the trash.

Well, mogu'shan trash doesn't drop any raw gold in the literal sense-it is motes and greens mostly. So, HOF definitely. Btw I made this video specifically because I know many people like you just hate the AH, but selling the motes is pretty easy frankly, if you are going to sell anything sell those, shouldn't take more than a few days if you price them to sell.
@@archvaldor oh, I don't hate AH in general, selling craft materials is quite simple indeed (and a bit rewarding to know that you were kind of of service). What I hate is to sell rare pets/transmorgs on my dying Thermoplugg realm, or especially to use TSM to monitor which items can bring huge profits and then constantly reapply one's stock etc.

The fact anyone can hop around like this and make thousands of gold in minutes totally devalues the currency and removes any actual reason to play the game. This isn't alliance specific. The seer is in the horde garrison also. The pandas in the seat of knowledge can be used by both factions. There is almost no practical difference.

I just tested this myself on a DK (slow on purpose) around ilevel 403 (low on purpose). I finished all activities and I only ended up with a total of 10,317 gold for about 2 hours of work (little slow because I didn't have certain flightpoints... doh). In the video you mention this should yield roughly 10,000 gold per hour, which would imply about 20,000 gold for the 2 hours. I must have missed something?
Cool little pretty useless tip if you are on a Vendor mount and you queue for lfr when you leave you will still be on it making for slightly faster selling

You are joking but there is actually quite a high probability he will literally do that. I once made a top 10 video 40 seconds of which were devoted to using critter bites to get a lot of sheep to follow me around-it was a pointless segment I basically only added so I could get to 10 things. Vaulty took the idea and stretched it out for an entire ten minute video.

I have 10 Alliance at max level so I have been running HFC weekly on all of them, or as many as I can get to, on LFR normal heroic and mythic difficulty 25 man. The trash is literally garbage when it comes to gold drops, but all of the bosses gold plus the vendor stuff about 3K each run. That's just about 12K+ per toon, so 120-130K a week if I'm lucky LOL

A lot of this is by design, but you did streamline it quite well. When wow tokens first became available, it was cataclysm raids and possibly MoP raids you farmed for gold. At first they "fixed" that, but outcry from raw gold farmers made them take a bit more consideration in gold adjustment in future expansions. When 8.1 came out, they revealed the new raiding with leashes in MoP for the Happiness pet, and they did go into the fact that they wanted MoP and WoD to be the new farming areas, and the new battle pets were meant to be icing on the cake to make up for a slightly less lucrative raw gold experience than was available in the past.
Basically the math is that in terms of raw gold, they want 5k per hour to be the bog standard, as that equates to about 40 hours a month of gold farming to afford 1 wow token, which is quite a lot of time and dedication and thus "deserving", but if you are up to date with content and very clever, you can push that to 10-15k per hour, cutting the grind down considerably. Of course, they don't want you to make any more than that at maximum for raw gold in order to stimulate the auction house and maintain wow token's real world value.
This is just information I've heard or have worked out for myself, so I could easily be wrong, but that's what I believe to be the mentality at play here.
Sho how much raw gold do you get , at the end of the (weekly) runs?
It should be around 8000-12k gold per hour invested. "Showing" gold would depend very much on the toon I use, that's something that other youtubers do which is very deceptive. I tried this with my main and I ended up with 30K which isn't remotely viable for most people for various reasons.
So question i might have just over looked this or am just having issues thinking it through but how is this hourly if you kill the bosses cause I thought if you killed them it became locked and they didn't re spawn for another weekly reset
Yep this is weekly. Once you get locked out, do skyreach (see video for skips) and/or iron docks and/or other draneor dungeons and/or seat of the triumvirate (if you have it unlocked) and/or freehold (if you have excellent gear).

@@deroestheknight7853 Yah. What you are trying to avoid is running, say, all the way through SOO because that's really inefficient, so do the LFR bosses where you can port straight into a boss and then split. Doing Docks or Skyreach is going to be faster after you've done the cream of the crop.

One got fixed one didn't. I wouldn't sign up for just that, you'd need quite a few alts to make decent gold from that.

i did rare farms in 8.1 but yeah doesnt seem like thats a thing in 8.2
Not really time efficient but well when there is nothing in the game to do, i run all of the LFR wings of WOD and MOP and normal/heroic/mythic of WOD raids and heroic 25 MOP raids and get 20-25k raw gold per character i do it on per week. Takes me roughly 3-4 hours per character per week if im going fast.
