Why not use a night elf hunter for the Elwynn goblin farm? Shadowmeld and Feign Death, both are aggro drops. If one makes it 80% faster, why not two and make it 160% faster?
Had trouble getting this to work and actually be able to get LoS. Good trick is to put on any toy that makes you a bit bigger. I used the Kovork costume
I'm always one step too far for discovering these methods on my own. I love your vids dude. I think of the methods, test them, some work, but 95% of the time I waste hours upon hours just never thought about a pet command. Goddamnit
That's exactly what i do. It can take me weeks to find anything good-there's a very high failure rate when testing. I am VERY fortunate in that my patreons allow me to do this full time which is the only advantage I have over most people. Before that my gambling skills meant I never had to work round the clock like others do, so I could spent time skilling up. TBH if you are finding something 5% of the time you must have some shit-hot heuristic to get strikes that often.
For me, the best raw gold farm is running Heart of Fear LFR -> killing all mobs until the 1st boss -> Leave Group -> repeat. It worths A LOT of gold, and a lot of green items that can be sold to NPC (and you get some Mote of Harmony as a bonus to sell Spirits of Harmony on the AH).
It can happen but generally no, it depends how the boss's mechanics work. It is really complicated. I don't think you can forcespawn much on TI apart from the frogs.

Not to forget that its really dull to farm a dungeon like this. - Sending a pet/demon to a very far away target usually doesnt work. Wew. Never even heard of any one doing anything like that-in fact I've heard quite sophisticated hackers state flat out that is impossible. Bear in mind I must have been exposed to at least 10,000 different exploits during my time doing this. If I had to hazard a guess then he is doing something to rollback his character-but that would be very advanced shit. Is this retail? It could be something to do with timewalking where your character is literally levelled down-maybe he has a way of preserving that state, TW is way buggy and had a ton of exploits early on. But no I don't know and I have nothing like that on my patreon-thanks for the lead though.

It varies enormously. For example there's a gold dupe which has not been fixed in at least 5 months. There's also some really powerful invincible/ phasing methods which in some cases have been active for years. Yet Blizzard fixed a simple method to grind mobs using a quest item in literally hours-even though it was only slightly faster than conventional methods. I have a quite powerful damage exploit for classic that I thought would get instafixed but they haven't touched it so far. So-basically, longer than you'd think-but it is so unpredictable and random what Bliz do in response.
I used to use the ramparts trick to power level toons by dropping a hunter trap up on top then waiting for everything to run down. I am going to try this with the monk statue trick with lowbies and combine aoe mob grinding wtih transmog farming
FYI, I just tried this with my lock and it doesn't work (anymore?). I was, however, able to send my minion up there so it's possible to farm it quickly but not as quick as the first part of your video. (he also didn't pull everything but there were quite a few that showed up for the party)
I can't get this to work on two characters at once. If I aggro the instance on the first character, switch to the second and aggro the instance, switch back to the first to kill everything, when I get back to the second character the instance has reset. It won't stay aggro'd. Tried it until I hit instance lockout to no avail.
It takes a minute before automatic reset. Can you tell me if you are doing it faster than that, so I can help you isolate the problem? Also, you aren't logging-out are you? That causes an instant reset.
Looks like that was it, If I wait ~25 seconds after aggroing on the first character, then switch to the second and agro, then come back to the first I don't have to wait too long for the mobs to get to me
After i tried the method with /tar bl , i think i found a way to do some nice gold. Idk if i should say the method here. Archvaldor tell me if you want to hear about this.
You can go in Upper Blackrock Spire - Heroic mode, and there is a chance for "The Lanticore" NPC which can drop a pet. You can sell that pet battle on some realms with 70k+ or 20k on others. After you enter in the dungeon, you can make an macro " /tar The Lanticore ", and see if it's spawned. If not, you go out, and reset the dungeon. But you can do this 10 times/hour. Idk if i can get banned for this. Can you tell me if i can get banned for doing this?
@@vanhelsingx69x I did some research into this a while back and my understanding is that the Lanticore only spawns in response to the event created by the nearby boss-so the Lanticore literally doesn't exist when you enter the dungeon. Have you actually tested this to see if the Lanticore ever spawns? It is a very good idea, but my understanding is that Bliz didn't want people doing this so developed a mechanism to make this impossible. Obviously I'd welcome any evidence to the contrary if it exists.

First, you can make 900 gold in 5 minutes doing this so the problem isn't that it isn't lucrative-it is instance lockout. If you can't afford the full game you probably can't afford the $10 a month for my patreon either (I sympathize, was broke much of my life), and it isn't necessary to just earn 10k an hour. Probably the best simple way is to just try and gather a lucrative herb or ore such as khorium. You do have to sell them on the ah but it is reasonably fast and painless-just one transaction.

I can list ores or herbs on the AH but someone will undercut me till the point I get like 2 gold for a stack of ghost iron ore. This happens often. Id be happy to pay for your patreon if I can make token gold in a week. Id say its a pretty good investment at that point.

It is way more than 5%. Over 50% probably. Certainly the loot isn't far off what you get from pulling everything, you just really lose on the two boss drops.

Yeah I made several videos about that. Since the exodus during BFA the spirits got harder to sell though, I kind of fell out of love with it.

It is likely a proximity issue. Try moving closer.

Umren actually has a video on it for 60-80leveling. Let me tell you though. Leveling there as melee is cancer

Nothing's changed, it is just tricky. Pulling everything isn't possible, it only works for short distances.
