The biggest issue with popularity contests is that, people don’t think.
It's why I don't put any stock into awards. People will just see "Attack on Titan" and vote. Demon Slayer could be placed in best Slice of Life and it'd still win. They'd be better off just tapping into the AniTuber community, picking 50 anime youtubers and letting them be the only voters.
true
So.......politics but anime version
@@Fribee83 The problem with that is the viewers'll complain about either not knowing any of these people (cus a google search suggests 120 mil users and that many wont know these anitubers) and/or saying that their opinons dont matter
You can easily scroll or engage with some of these people on social medias and see how one-sided their reasoning behind justifying these popularity awards as meaningful and deserved for the shows (that are imo overhyped asf)
I think the problem is people aren't watching. Not 100% their fault. Ppl have lives.
How in hell does anya win best supporting character when she is a main character while Rebecca is a side character who actually supports the main character
Because tracer
I heard the Japanese system is there is only one main character per show, which is the first name in the ending credits, everyone else is supporting characters. The VA for Anya also win best supporting character award for Seiyu award for her Anya role.

@@suliu6667 that is true

So what the awards are telling me is that Demon Slayer is better at being a fantasy anime than Mushoku Tensei and Made in Abyss. BRUH
It was BRUH moment the moment Demon Slayer was put on the list. I f**ing knew that this year will be cringe fest since winter was so stacked (Buchi The GOAT) that Cranchyroll decided to remove them entirely so they can give what ever s**ty shonen was hot that year.

Even Demon slayer fans can't deny how BS the awards were this year
It's like watching Eurovision's judges who don't understand anything about the music just giving scores to random pieces based on their preferences and politics instead of actual music. That's how I felt watching these rewards.
Don't get me fuckin started on Eurovision. It stopped being a quality cultural event 2 decades ago. X.x

Half the fun of Eurovision IS the bullshit voting.
As someone about to graduate from music school, I will say that the Made in Abyss 2 soundtrack absolutely blew every other competitor out of the water. There is no competition there. I know that Kevin and his colleagues don't write music with the goal of getting recognized, but god damnit to they deserve to be. It's an absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack :3

The Made in Abyss soundtrack hits so fucking hard when it kicks in. I think it goes above and beyond from being just music, because nearly every song is tailored for a character or scene and it's so good. Shame it wasn't recognized
Just binged it the past few days and I was ugly crying from the soundtrack swelling. Haven't felt that way for any of the anime I've watched since I started in 2019, and I've only been watching the top recommendations/critically acclaimed stuff

@@organizerbmo you are right MADE in ABYSS soundtrack was powerful enough to make me cry and i don't cry easily.
Honestly I think there’s a simple way to improve the voting for the awards.
1. More judges, getting as many people from as many different communities and cultures as possible will always lead to better diversity in perspectives and opinions. I would especially like if they got a couple industry professionals to weigh in on more technical awards like best director.
2. Reduce the public vote to as small as they can be. As Garnt said in the video viewers don’t actually care how much their vote actually contributed they just want to FEEL like they contributed, personally think the game awards has a great balance in this regard.
3. Require judges to have at least watched all of, or at least most of the shows in each category. Like set a minimum your only allowed to vote in this category if you’ve seen at least 4/6 anime’s. If judges haven’t met that requirement then they simply skip that category and vote on others they do meet the requirement for.
I feel like just implementing these changes will make the actual awards part a little better. Will there still be stinker choices? Yes but that’s the fun of award shows to see what got snubbed and what got the biggest W. Everything else about the show is fine they just need to tighten up the pacing a bit.
As much as I agree with what you said, it still would have one big problem that wouldn’t be addressed, and that’s the nominations, often it’s not even the winners that upset people, but the nominations itself
@@mateusisraelsilva5934 yeah that’s fair. This year was particularly bad thanks to the exclusion of fall anime but I feel it’s been pretty consistent in previous years where there have been one or two baffling choices or exclusions but most of the noms are good. Idk maybe that’s just me though.
Or put a separate category for fan favorites
How about also take AoT and Demon slayer out of the running altogether and make a second category of a "who did a better season" and make those two compete against each other in some other way.
Reducing the public vote to as small as it can be would only ruin any fun the awards can be by just being exactly like the game awards, terrible. Idk who uses TGA as an example of a good awards show, the 5% of audience influence is clearly meaningless and they almost always tend to smell their own farts since the entirety of the jury is composed of gaming journalistic media or western industry “high” figures. And they nominate not at all controversial and terribly received games like TLOU2 or Death Stranding, or give an accessibility award every year to playstation exclusives that aren’t available on any other platform other than a sony box. Or let Genshin Impact not only be nominated but win Game of the Year by “fan” choice. Or spend 4 hours of our lives on ads to games that are already out there and/or are openly financially predatory, while at the same time rushing every category possible to suck some Hollywood’s millionaires balls. What an example to follow!
This year's anime awards was a bit strange because Crunchyroll, which cannot be legally streamed in Japan, decided to do a big Japanese industry award show live in Japan, in Japanese... so all the non-Japanese voting Crunchy public can watch? Who was the show for? I'd have been happier to just watch Sally Amaki joke and be herself in English in a pre-recorded bit with some special guest music as she reads out the awards and maybe some pre-recorded and translated bits with the winners. That way its geared toward the Crunchyroll watching audience.
You can’t watch Crunchyroll in Japan?
@@Jamgelo Not without a VPN, Crunchyroll has no license to show anime in Japan. The license determines what countries can access what shows.
I was in Tokyo during the awards show (for unrelated reasons), and I remember hearing NOTHING about the awards show for the entire time I was in Japan. Also, because Google tracks your location, I didn't even get recommended the stream for the awards. The only reason I knew it was happening was because I had notifications on for a few streamers. Really hope it comes to North America next year.
It doesn't surprise me, nothing Crunchyroll does makes any sense. Demon Slayer is by far the top anime, and have you seen how messy the "series'" listing are for that TOP #1 show? If they can't get the top anime right, how are we supposed to expect they can get the rest of the shows right? It takes SOOO much effort just to get to the shows you are ACTIVELY watching on a day to day basis. More than a couple times it took me needing to type a manual search for frickin' One Piece to access the show episode listing, even though it is by far one of the most popular running shows. Its hard to get UX/UI that massively bad.
japane is a xenophobia nation with a traditional setup. meaning every medium that has a potential outside cultural influence is halted. meaning you as a foreign company cannot establish in japan unless the company and their employers follows the japanes standards. only expection is to buy their product. Crunchyroll is a pipeline that only exist as a medium to reduce pirating and to get revinew from the outside but without having the influence from outsiders. it is for this reason why japan is in heavy decline both financially and especially population growth
I completely agree. Made in Abyss 2 was so freakin' encapsulating, compelling, intriguing, captivating (and every other word that means the same thing). It deserved way, way more recognition in these awards. And who didn't wiggle in their chair to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? It just boils down to which anime was watched by the most people...
Crunchyrol can try to look as legitimate as possible but no matter what the actual awards themselves are what matters and clearly they drop the ball every year on that front. They can't even distinguish between a side and main character. Not to mention that fan votes are always going to end up being popularity contests. No one who listened to the Made in Abyss soundtrack will ever say that it was worse that AOT's. This is probably the reason why the awards aren't as popular anymore, they just don't feel deserved in many cases. At least that's why I don't tune in anymore.
Are you saying BOOM BOOM BOOM HYPE HYPE HYPE soundtrack isnt better than a well structured ost that brings the most out of the scenes its used in???
Idk about all that. I love both ost's but I do think AOT Season 2 and 3 are better ost's than MIA. Obviously S1 and Kohta Yamamoto's S4 soundtrack don't come even close to Kevin Perkins atmospheric ost.
to be fair, basically every award show is nonsense
Main and side characters are always weird. The Oscars is a similar mess. Categories don't exist in real life and you're always going to get oddities trying to squeeze shows to fit them. Studios also want to be eligible for as many awards as possible so they will nominate themselves over a spread of categories when really everything was part of one. In the Oscars main actors get nominated as supporting actors for this reason essentially every time they have two main female / male roles

no dawg, good character design is good design, Demon Slayer had characters that had similar designs and Garnt pointed out Edge Runner. Even by just color pallets or silhouette they stand out. That’s good design
As someone who loves the OST of both AoT and MiA, I have to completely agree that Kevin Penkin deserved to win that award.

Not to discredit Yuki Kaji as he is brilliant, but I think the role of Faputa was a bit more demanding a role compared to Eren this season.
Meanwhile in Japan the seiyuu awards have Takuya Eguchi (Lloyd Forger), Tanezaki Atsumi (Anya Forger) and Anzai Chika (Nishikigi Chisato) as the winners this year
Yuki Kaji also damaged his voice during recording. That's why his voice sounded so rough during the Paths speech. He put in just as much effort too.

I do indeed skip most ending sequences but in my humble opinion this season had many absolute banger endings - "Yofukashi no Uta", "Comedy", "Koshaberi Biyori" and "Koi no Yukue" were all really good. "My Nonfiction" from Kaguya's rap episode was also quite cool, definitely remember it more than the other Kaguya ending that got nominated. NGL as a person who played shadowrun which is ttrpg cyberpunk 77 and edgerunners are based off of. It made me super happy edgerunners won anime of a year. It was such a beautiful experience watching my favorite ttrpg come to life in an anime that perfectly captured the feeling of that world. It's one of the few tragedies I can revisit because the tragic bittersweet ending feels so right for the universe the anime so accurately captures.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Edgerunners are not based off the shadowrun ttrpg. They are in the same universe as Cyberpunk 2020, a ttrpg released in 1988 (a year before shadowrun).
still sad there is no more Shadowrun game though. I hope the studio continue making bigger budget Shadowrun game (even though Battletech game is addicting)
Honestly I legit did not hear about the awards at all, I usually don't care too much since it's such a popularity contest, but I usually still go and vote and this year I didn't even know they were coming until I saw people discussing the results afterwards...
If there was a way to make a public poll that only people who've watched at least like 5/6 of the shows nominated could vote, it could have better results. But its like Garnt said, most people dont even care about the rewards, they just wanna click button and see if Demon Slayer won
Yea absolutely. The reality is that the majority who voted probably watched very few anime the whole year. If an anime isn't very popular it has to be that much better to even maybe have a slight chance of winning. Demon Slayer as fantasy is just ridiculous. As Garnt I have watched a lot of the shows and I´d say most of the winners are wrong.
Anime is a medium with amazing stories and some of the best and most respectable examples of animation being used to its fullest, so I do appreciate Crunchyroll hosting these anime awards. I also hope that they would consider the judges' vote more and maybe a larger scope of judges (even considering anitubers, and more people that work in the industry).
They really need a fan category and professional voting category
Misaki Kunos performance as Faputa deserved the fck out of that award man, she really knocked it out of the park and then some.

Not to mention she was also perfect as Irumyuui. No competition, really.
Anya is definitely a main character. Honestly, I think it could be argued that half of Spy x Family focuses on her. A mere supporting character doesn't get that much time.
it's because of Japan's rules. In Japan there can only be 1 main character. The first name to be shown in credits is the only main character.
^^^^ Especially if you are aware of the direction of the manga. Of the arcs in the anime, Anya was the focus for all except the Tennis arc, and the manga is even more extreme, where Anya is in every arc, while Yor is lucky if she appears in more than 2 chapters consecutively. The AoT S4 soundtrack is amazing, I could listen to damn near every track on both parts. Traitor, Footsteps of Doom, From You, 2,000 years ago are some highlights. The OST reflects the anime's state, adding to what we know in a new way. From Wit to Mappa, from Sawano to Kohta, they both build on what came before with their own new flavors. Made in Abyss OST is in my opinion Kevins Magnum Opus. He understood the assignment and elevated the anime's moments to be even more painful, Made in Abyss isn't what it is without him. @Silk Sonic Eminance in shadow is a fun show but it is a bang on average show at best lmao.
@@guillermopena8412 True, i was pissed when hades didnt GOTY awards. That game was easily the best in 2020 but ofc last of us 2 won. 2022 GOTY being elden ring made me happy as i thought god of war ragnarok would win it because it was newer at the time. Even stray got some recognition.
Cyberpunk deserves EVERY bit of recognition. I even went into it with a bad attitude based on bad opinions about the game, but it just blew me away... It even inspired me to try and play Cyberpunk 2077. The universe, the pacing, THE CHARACTERS, their struggles, just wow...
Crunchyroll is stamping its foot down on the Subs vs Dubs debate by running the entire awards show in Japanese.
The one that really stung for me was the best ED award. Akuma no ko and Yofukashi no Uta were the best EDs by far.
Ikr
I do skip outros…but you will never catch me skipping the spy x family 2nd outro, the jujutsu kaisen outro(Gojo’s dance is everything), demon slayer(idc, I like the outro), the lycoris recoil outro, or the kaguya-sama outro. Some of those outros are like so good, like hidden gems fr and I wish more people listened to them
The Kaguya endings, especially the Star Ship Troopers one, were fun as
You know something went wrong when the "Anime of the Year" doesnt win a single award outside the main one, like what in the actual hell?
Does it mean that it got outmatched in literally everything it did, but as a whole was superior than his peers?
I'd call Bs on that one, chief.
Edgerunners should've won WAY more, but the fucking normies man
Now this is actually a good point
Yeah thats weird
it does happen in the oscars as well
maybe other movies have done something specific so good they won that specific oscar, but the "best" is the one that has the most overall quality
Perfect point. Something doesnt add up. Feels like an industry award that they paid for. If it isnt the best in anything else then in no way should it be anime of the year. The criteria is skewed
It was such a Shame uncle from another world didn’t win best comedy. I’ve never laughed as hard in any other anime I’ve watched up to this point.
it was a great comedy, but what killed the hype for me and probably others was the massive delay between episodes and just a couple days ago the last episode finally got released. it just became forgetable with all these delays
I think the Anime Awards need to create their own shonen categories or limit the impact of the audience vote just to avoid these constantly becoming the Demon Slayer / Attack on Titan Awards.
Also, on the Judge vote versus the fan vote thing. In terms of video games, I would always prefer a player's vote because the votes in the game awards go to a heavily western Industry professional and journalist decision, which is skewed because those guys are obviously going to give more to their colleagues versus games that actually deserve awards, and of course all of their tastes and sensibilities are included. It's also just easier to quantify in games as you generally can feel what games have the most quality. I would agree with anime and movies being more judge based then fan based because so much anime comes out in a year and the best gems tend not to be the most heavily pushed in marketing, or made by the top companies, nor are they the long runners. In spite of that, the ones most people watch will be the ones that are getting the most exposure. The long runners, the super animes, the hype Juggernauts. It just makes it harder to credit to the really great shows, if they didn't garner enough attention.
Ok never heard of Ya Boy Kongming!"CIKI CIKI BAM BAM" WHAT A BANGER OPENING!!! LOVE IT
agree
I think they were doing the awards in japanese for the convenience of the local audience. I don't know how many of the production staff speak english, but it would be strange to have your work announced as winner and only realize after the graphics change.
The VActress of Faputa also had amazing roles in Summer Time Rendering and 86.
She voices KLEE!!!!
Yep, all 3 roles deserve an award
It took me 2 minutes lol, "wait, who's she voiced again?!" And then she voiced the lolis 🗿
the funniest/worst part is that Demon Slayer isn't even Fantasy it's more of a Supernatural Historical kind of show, it's not like another world or anything
Im honestly surprised Cyberpunk won AOTY, i love cyberpunk and its universe (my vids prove that) but I definitely think AOT shouldve won, not unhappy with cyberpunk winning tho.
I get rolling your eyes at Demon Slayer, it's good but not the best. But I don't get that about AOT, that show deserves all the praise
Made in Abyss was done so dirty. Crunchyroll better take the criticism they've been getting for these award shows these past few years, and actually aim to improve for once. At the rate we're going, I can already tell from a year away that Demon Slayer's next arc and Attack on Titan are going to do a clean sweep of all the other nominees.
I agree with attack on Titan having better osts during season 1-3 but I do think it had bangers other than ashes on fire.
Footsteps of Doom is my personal favorite
Zekes plan, The warriors, the other side of the sea, traitor, into the night and Splinterwolf are some awesome osts from s4
There’s just way more music in the first three seasons, it’s actually kind of nuts. Yamamoto is all killer no filler with his OSTs, every track is memorable, and I can’t say that for the first three seasons.
The soundtrack playing during Grisha's breakdown alone is one of the reasons why the aot's composers deserved em awards.
16:20 Actually, "Best Continuing Series" was added so that they could exclude One Piece from the other categories and people stopped complaining about OP never getting a nomination. Best MC: Luffy (or anyone in the crew). Best supporting character: Law (or anyone in the crew). Best character design: Echiiro Oda. Best score: Shirō Hamaguchi. "Must protect at all costs": Robin. Best Action: One Piece. Best Drama: One Piece. Best Comedy: One Piece. Best Fantasy: One Piece. Best VA Performance (JP): Anyone from OP, they are all amazing. Anime of the Year: One Piece.
Should do an elector's college version for the Awards Show. Pick about 100 people from all aspects of the Anime and Japanese entertainment industry and have them select their favorites. Then have those collected and have a panel of 10 industry insiders plus 1 fan representative like Gigguk or Anime man or Nuxanor those with significant pedigree or influence. Those 11 votes would be the final judgement and there could be votes to exclude certain anime from certain categories like demon slayer from fantasy because it's supernatural not fantasy. In addition there could be a pre curated list for the categories so the voters can know which anime are in which category. Sometimes voters go off what's the top of their head not what they actually like. For example you could ask someone what the best fantasy Ghibli movie is and 90% would say Howl's or Spirited away because those are the most well known, but there's Kiko's Delivery Service, Tales from Earthsea and so many more amazing fantasy Ghibli movies that are better representations of what fantasy is
there should probably be a weighted score between some actual professionals and the popularity vote to determine winners. But also that weight can change, like best director should put more weight on professional's vote and best anime of the year should put more weight on the populous.
I think that's the most healthy way to do it too.
The thing is anime fans are different from some mediums like gaming or music, to vote objectively on such a sporadic medium is also a bit... I dunno , I still do think that awards like BEST DIRECTOR should be like 90-10 professional judges - public audience voting margins. But anyways that's my opinion though.
I can't find a link right now, but I know that the voting was heavily weighted in the favour of the judges last year, I believe it was something around the judges counting for 80% and the popularity poll only 20%, something around there. I'm assuming they did something similar this year.
I absolutely love the Made in Abyss Season 2 soundtrack... I'm so sad that Made in Abyss didn't get the awards they deserved.
It was great but AOT deserved it.
The rule that the streamer awards has that one show can only be nominated two times for the whole award show should be implemented. Or Shonen Series should have their own awards
Sally Amaki deserves a special award for having the most anime moment during an anime award show.
I feel so bad for Ranking of Kings. Such a good show, but it came out around the same time as Demon Slayer. So there was really no chance
Seriously, show had me bouncing between laughing my ass off and drowning in tears
Normies r almost always gonna win. They barely got any taste except 4 when they branch out and expand their anime journey. Sadly I don’t watch much anime much anymore, kinda like Joey. But I do occasionally watch some anime like a few series a season. The only time I really watch a lot of anime is when I do so with my brothers. We binge like 15 different anime series over the weekend this season when we’re all off of work. Just keeping up the the animes coming out this season. Ngl a lot of anime this season is actually good compared to recent years. A lot of shounen anime 4 me has died. Seen a few seen them all mostly maybe different setting but very similar plots or storyline. Dropped jujutsu kaisen, demon slayer, boku no hero, and definitely not boruto. One main reason why I’ve dropped alot of anime really is that I kinda just grew up and need to focus on life rn, and anime is rarely fun to watch anymore unless with my bros and we all like the show. Still have like over a hundred on my to watch list, kinda procrastinating watching anime in lieu of real life situations tho.
Rather than saying over half of us skip the ED's, it's probably better to say that we skip over half the ED's. There is always that *one* anime that has an ed which is worthwhile letting the episode remain running to hear (after all, it's not like the next episode is ready until next week anyway). Like this season I think the "self hug - big love" song is surprisingly good of an ED for the show it is stuck to. And a couple other shows I get in the mood to watch their ed depending on how their episode ended, but usually skip.
I'm still just sitting here in disbelief that so many people skip the endings. Fucking hell. SpyXFamily had nothing but bangers in their openings and endings so I would have given that my vote no matter what.
agreed. the first ending is my favourite ending of all time. it was also one of my most played songs in my 2022 spotify wrapped
@@akaashikeijiluvr It's the 2nd opening for me but yeah it all absolutely slaps.
Spy x Family really deserved that win; It's the only anime that had me watching the ending after every single episode.
I skip opening and endings because they reveal spoilers.
@@HookahOtaku only bad openings and endings do that. I think Openings and Endings really add a lot to the viewing experience. It gets you hyped up for the show/next episode.
Did they ever give a reason as to why the don’t include the fall season? Is it because it bleeds into the new year? Feels like it just makes things way more difficult not adding them into the awards
Love the inclusion of KH music when you starting breaking apart about DemonSlayer
Hiroyuki Imaishi did a WAY better job with Edgerunners. Like it isn't even close for the year, CP:ER is far and away the absolute best directed anime of 2022. And it isn't even just name recognition, it is probably Imaishi's best show - better than TTGL. It comes together so well, it never misses and keeps hitting harder and harder... WITHOUT IT BEING ABOUT ALIENS!
Call of the Night's ending is the only ending I watched every time. It is dripping with so much attitude and fun.
The Awards ( at least for me and a chum of mine) felt so sloggy and unprepared. The english translation really felt like chat gp and it had been better if they have used someone whos was fluent in in. The guest's belonged in the WHO ? teer if there was one. Since we did not get to watch it live, the amound of ad's where a bit overkill ( every 7 minutes). We skipped through the damn thing after gotten half over it because of annoyence.
Pew, that was a lot of venting. Hope to see a chili prediction award show by Garnt for next year.
The Orbital Children was honestly absolutely great, I've already rewatched multiple times. It's really sad hearing Garnt say the original anime category had no competition for Lycoris because I really feel it should have been in the running. I haven't watched Lycoris so maybe it's just that good, but TOC honestly deserves some love. A well paced piece focused around exploring current existential issues such as AI and climate change that the director felt were neglected in the space. It had a cool art style, decent characters + character development. I feel like it's only crime was being posted to netflix, therefore it ends up a dead on arrival anime.
Yeah I agree, definitely a great experience
I watched it for the fact alone that SpaceX's Starship was chosen as the model for their mothership
I’m wondering if one reason to host it in Japan is that if you’re going to mostly invite anime industry professionals from Japan, it’s going to be far, far cheaper in regard to travel and lodging fees. If it was in the US, you’d have to fly everyone over and still pay for the venue.
Also, Crunchyroll was bought by Sony in 2021. So, they are an American company owned by a Japanese company. That could influence it too.
8:47 That one guy saying "haha Rebecca's impact" had me rolling lmao!!
Istg if Mushoku doesn't win best fantasy and/or isn't nominated for best anime after s2 then it's actually just shambolic
For the Best opening award I actually thought Stone Ocean's "Heaven's Falling Down" would be a really good candidate. Personally, I liked it even more than I liked Rumbling.
Both are complete bangers, pretty sure Heavens falling down came out too late to be eligible unfortunately though
its a shame uncle from another world wasnt as popular as the others. that was one of the few anime that actually made me chuckle out loud
Unfortunately, that's mostly because Uncle from Another World had such a terrible release schedule, with a nearly two month long break in the 12 episode season. I think it would've killed with American audiences if there was more consistency.
I think you undermine how great the score was in attack on titan. There were many more great ones than Ashes of fire.
Like "Footsteps of doom" "all of the freedoms" "Zeek's plan" "night of the end" "Eren's memories" etc.
Downfall of Marley was good too
Cyberpunk Edgerunners achieved only one award and it was the category that mattered overall.
I say "Best Director" could be summarized as which anime has gone above and beyond the source material.
I thought that too at first, the problem is it works for adaptations but not for original anime
@@Zetsukun12 I guess building off that for adaptations you can say shows that balance original content and the source material while for original anime could be judged on how well it balances its story and expectations
Directors are pretty much showrunners from my understanding. Episode directors are more of what we think of as directors
Best director is genuinely Hayashi for AoT. He has done an amazing job especially in the dialogue heavy episodes.
bocchi the rock easy win
8:08 God damn it zoro. He is at it again.
Faputa performance gives me chills it was amazing
I cant wait till later this year when chainsaw man, mob psycho, and bleach run the whole thing
if they actually want to be legit, they need to have judges from the japanese industry and im talking about major legends on the list who actually left impact on japanese animation in general. They need to revoke peoples votes to make it legitimate.
Most of the show’s nominated will probably be shows most western fans haven’t heard of before. Then it wouldnt really make sense either because those award shows already exist
Or just have the fan votes and judges votes separate. Fan votes are fun to see just to see what everyone else is thinking and to laugh at the community’s bad takes but it can’t be taken as a serious measure of quality. Most fans didn’t watch every nominee so there’s no way you can glean anything from these rankings.
Looks like Garnt has Connor and Joey at home
Also, I always watch the OP & ED at least twice; on ep 1 and on the last ep. With Yofukashi no Uta, I watched both every single episode.
Now we can only hope, as much I love the show, that next year chainsaw man doesn’t steal all the awards
Fine by it. As long as it ain’t demon slayer…
I suppose I'm new here but it's surprising to see that beavs knows gigguk
Comparing a Cyberpunk Edgerunners to Attack on Titan is like comparing The Boys to Breaking Bad
C'mon, I watch all Openings and Endings at least once so I can know which ones to skip or not. Some of the are just fire and NEED to be watched everytime.
akuma no ko, is the only ending i don't skip
8:47 You know a main character is good when they can be the protagonist and the antagonist of their own story.
that makes no sense, protagonist purely means the main character of the show which is being focused on and the antagonist simply means the person that opposes the protagonist. why is it so hard for people to understand this?
@@swapnilabey2873Protagonist means the leading character or one of the major characters. Eren who is the leading character is on opposition with the other major characters like Armin. That’s why it can be confusing. Ofc idrc which side of the argument is correct
**Best Fantasy Demon Slayer**
Ah yes, every anime right now is fantasy or isekai.
💀
Kinda out of topic but watched a lot of those shows while using headphones and Kaguya's sama sound production and quality was freakin' insane!! Didn't hear that in any other show
And for score voted Kevin too, for me he had no competition with his work for Made in Abyss 2, masterpiece. I was like a madman looking for the OST after watching the episodes.
I'm devastated with the best fantasy winner. I would've easily gone with Mushoku Tensei but Made of Abyss would been great iswell but how tf did either one not win
