One of my favorite things about Pentatonix is that you can understand every word - they articulate and enunciate - so it's like hearing some songs for the first time. The styling of this video is outstanding.
I Agree, many songs they do it is the first time I have heard the actual lyrics, Kiss From A Rose is a prime example for me.!!
Absolutely agree and with my hearing loss I have a lot of songs I don’t know the lyrics to until PTX covers them.
One of my favorite pieces from PTX. For me, their version of When the party is over (cover by Billie Eilish) is just as impressive.

I'd call Mitch's piece a very melodic wail. This song is in my top 10 for Pentatonix.

The reason for the black and while with just touches of gold is because the posters for the actual movie were done in that sort of Art-deco era styling. It works so well for this video.

This is a great song. I’ve been revisiting some of their live concert performances. The ones from Hollywood Bowl in 2022 are spectacular. They do a live version of this song in that concert. I love listening to them live as well as their videos because they are just that good. They are so talented and creative. Definitely my favorite group since 2011, when they arrived on The Sing Off.

Another little detail--If you listen closely towards the end, Kirstin does just a short run from "Bad Romance" as a subtle tribute to Gaga. It's at 5:23 in your video. They are masters at what they do, and always very deliberate with their choices!

Hello Saeed. Finally got the chance to relax and watch this reaction. Fantastic reaction. Love your commentary and the analysis of the lyrics. This is a superb rendition by PTX of a beautiful and powerful song. Kevin on the cello is so haunting at the beginning and it is always such a joy to see him play. Scott starting off so powerfully with his tones. Kirstie coming in so sharp and clean, clear and belting, with such emotion. Matt on the undertones with the bass. Mitchell echoing in the background, shadowing Kirstie's vocals and then those vocalizations on the bridge, he makes you feel the passion and the pain. Always amazed at the notes that he hits and holds. You said "I also like the part that Mitch did" - that made me smile - understatement of the year. They performed this at that famous Hollywood Bowl performance and it was great. Perfect and intentional videography, as always by PTX. They also know how to play with the camera. More recommendations - "Can't Help Falling In Love" (Elvis cover); "Gold" (Kiera cover); and still putting in a plug for "No" (Meghan Trainor cover)(music video and live version). Remember PTX also has great originals, an entire album of originals called "The Lucky Ones" to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2021. Thanks for the reaction!

Perfection at its best. PTX does it again. There is nothing they can't do...and do it well. You know if PTX is involved it is going to be excellent. The only thing I can say in a negative way about them is that I don't always like the song they do. There is nothing I can say negative about them. They always bring their A game.

I really enjoyed the original but Scott is a better vocalist than Bradley Cooper and Kirstie can match Gaga. I just liked this version better.
