I'm a 50 year old man and tears run down my face every time I hear this. This song hits everyone. Losing 😮 ones over addiction. Even if youe the person who's addicted. It's hits hard. God Bless this guy. He has touched many hearts with this song.....
Its like grieving someone thats still alive . When your relationship is gone because of addiction you have to love them from a far because being around them is soul destroying watching a person you love disappear right infront of your eyes . Missing their smile the things that make them who they where before addiction took a grip.. i got my person back i get to watch them live there best live . I know a lot dont make it back and I'm great full for that today
The vial of his Dad's ashes is central in this video. His Father died of an OD. My daughter died from fentanyl od in 2018 and her children have her ashes in that same small urn So many parents and kids left with only the ashes of the person they lived more than anyone else.
Lost my father to an overdose, my aunt caught an infection in her heart from heavy needle use. My mom was on bad drugs, but managed to pull herself out the addiction and is living a better and happy life. This song hits hard man.
@@Njordallnot really. It provides that artist more exposure if anything and the whole point of this is a reaction. It seems like you don't know how any of this works.

I think the songs perspective uses both sides. I interpret it as how it is when you’re in a relationship with both parties using.
