- 1st time reaction to Honestav and his song I'd Rather Overdose
This was a great track but hard to get through as it was emotional and hard hitting.

Not enough people reacted to this song. Awareness of addiction needs to be in spotlight. As a recovering addict this was hard to hear but needs to be heard.
Another song by him “They Don’t Make Pills for Heartbreak” which is my 2nd fave by him. He’s very good.
I love how music can be interpreted into different things he did make a video explaining what the song is about but he also says it is up for interpretation as long as it helps people
This hit me like a mac fucking truck when I heard it the first time. I was in *shambles*. My father had a coke addiction. Left us when I was 9 weeks old. Mom left when I was 2. Drugs are fucking awful man.
This guy is HILARIOUS on TikTok…his music just shows you the ones with the deepest pain cover with the funniest humor out there
I’ll be honest I’ve been listening to him for like 5-6 months he is seriously helping people and he’s genuinely a nice guy like I messaged him about this song and his response was so genuine
song made me cry the first time i heard it tbh
i love how you interpret it. i think it can be both or how ever you view it he can be talking to his father but at the same time can’t live without the drugs either he really made a beautiful song for many people to listen to and take what they did out of it. love your video man keep up the work
this song is on my on repeat. its so good
Honest Ave is how it’s pronounced
Our dad, brother, and several people we have lost to suicide. This is therapy for the broken souls.
Also thanks for the love man!
New citizen soldier out dead end life from their new album
I don’t know you brother but I love you thank you for being honest
Heavy song but so important to show the hereditary nature of addiction and the reality of many who cannot use drugs but rather let the drugs use em
