As I've understood it... the Balloons are burdens, people wearing white represent those who can overcome their burdens (they always have less balloons), where as people wearing black are people who are overwhelmed by their burdens. NF is amazing with tying many of his songs and music videos together from one to another. A lot of fans call this the "NF Journey".

THIS song/video was my introduction to Nate/NF. I was completely blown away. Had never been much of a rap fan, but ... well, this dude has changed my life.
Came back here for a review of where it all started. I got to see NF last night in Toronto, ON for his HOPE tour. He did not disappoint. Place went NUTS when this song was starting, he even brought out balloons and a shopping cart on stage.

You just got a new sub from another NF Reaction addict. Looking forward for to the Journey. Believe it or not, this song has a part 2 and it is just as good as this song. So I guess you should watch that next and then start the journey. LOL>
I am a big fan of doing the NF Journey in order. He really does tie songs together both lyrically and visually, however it won't affect the journey if you sprinkle in a song from his latest album as you go thru the journey. All songs except, "Paid My Dues" and "Lost" can be watched without affecting the Journey. Save those two songs to the end of the journey. So Leave Me Alone and then do some of the journey and drop in "Story" or another song from the Mixtape. That way you can hear some of his new and best stuff along the way. But every song on the journey is fire. No cap.
Now that NFs new album Hope is out did you notice when NF said "I'm looking for the map to hope"? at 5:52
Literally subscribed to you just to continue to see you go through this journey. Honestly-i don’t even listen to music very often because I’m usually reading. But NF has was a game changer. I find myself laughing, screaming, crying and just jaw dropped in shock no matter how many times I listen to him.
I can’t wait to keep watching your reactions to him. Honestly you need to pause more. There’s so much he says that needs to be unpacked, you can’t just hear it once. You have to sit with it and say, “dang” because it evokes that emotion every time. Thank you and enjoy the journey.

Oh man I live for reactions like this! I love NF so much he is so talented and his music is truly inspiring and can move you in so many different ways. I loved seeing yalls energy match Nates. I hope to see you react to more NF. His fan base is so loyal and supportive.. i know it sounds a little cliche but we really are all like one huge diverse family. Nate pours his heart and soul into his music and puts it all out there for the world to hear and see which is so admirable. It wasn’t just his undeniable talent that won me over..it’s his character and compassion and the love and respect he shows his fans! Artists like him are rare.. hell people like him are rare. So we appreciate him and the courage he has to allow himself be vulnerable in his music. He doesn’t do it for the fame or the things that normally come with it. He actually makes his music in spite of that bc he doesn’t want to be worshiped or glorified. He just wants to create something real and honest and meaningful.. regardless of the outcome. I’m not one to blindly follow anyone much less an artist or “celebrity” but when it comes to Nate, You can just tell that he does this bc he loves it and needs it and uses his music as an outlet hence the title of his album and song “Therapy Session” and he also does it with the hope that others will hear it and be able to connect with it and to make those ppl who can relate feel a little less alone. That in itself is such a fucking thing! I’m sorry for this incredibly long and somewhat cringeworthy comment but F it.. I’m passionate ab music esp music with a purpose like Nates. I’m so damn thankful for the ppl who led me to his music so hopefully this will inspire y’all to listen to more or at the very least give a little taste of what to expect if y’all do resonate enough with him to take “ *The Journey* “ a lot of ppl would love to go on it with ya. Ok so here is the deal with NF...Personally he is my favorite artist. As far as reacting to his music goes, his music videos are ALL very detailed and in depth. The two songs that you guys have reacted to are part of his newer stuff and the sound is way better. He has some very emotional songs, dealing a lot with what goes on in his head, which I relate to. He has a very wide range. I personally would recommend going back and starting the journey, from here, at his first major album, Mansion. Then go onto Therapy Session, then Perception. BUT it is up to you guys, the only reason I say that is because his writing is very much like a diary and you can see his development as an artist, stylistically, as well as a person in his mental space.

This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies.
All four albums is like a connected series. For instance in his when i grow up song, paid my dues, leave me alone, and why song, the black smile is the fake smile that he mentions in therapy session song.
He hides eggs in his videos. In when i grow up song there was two hidden eggs in that song. A black balloon by the trash cans and in burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. He had outcast name tag on in the janitor part from his Outcast song. Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song.

it just amazes me how this one song ties together his albums from 2015 to 2023 with so many sidenotes you can only appreciate when you listened to him for a while ... so re-listening this always is a great experience...i also started with this song ... or basically because i heard him in the radio with 'let you down' and wanted to hear more of him and now NF is in running in my car almost daily
