once you launch immediately shift up to 6th, and everytime you notice the acceleration slow you drop to 5th and back up to 6th, I was finishing races at 260-270 kmh with ease

I find it funny street racing games back then had to rely on women to attract an audience, but then again it worked didn't it? Few years after however, now it's full of car guys that want just that, cars.
Just look at the Asphalt franchise, at Asphalt 2 it featured the Pussy Cat Dolls, At Aspahlt 4 and 5 it featured ladies that provide buffs for players. Asphalt 6 done away with that and focuses on cars, after that it's micro transactions.
