Ty! That template one looks like a timesaver!!!
Bro I love you, I use your tricks to help people and they pay me, they even call me THE PC GOD
I really appreciate your content. As an IT professional, any tips and tricks that I can use to make my work easier or more productive is always welcome.
When I used to have a lot of different commonly used texts, I would create a different signature for each type. Interesting they finally created this functionality through templates.
Good use of the signatures feature! There’s another tool called quick parts which also lets you save templates.
I knew this guy before he was cool. Nice work!
I use templates mainly for formatting and maybe headings. For repeated text passages I prefer a text expander solution-so that the text is available in all apps, anywhere there's a text box.
Could you please expand on this? I'm not familiar with that feature! 🙏
@@EvaLovasco Hi Eva, it's not a feature of Outlook, it's other programs. Can be as simple as a text editor like Notepad, where you store all the text bits ready for copy-paste-I used this for years, there are tons of text editors out there, I used Editplus.
If it's a big thing for you, there are quite sophisticated 'text expanders' out there-I used PhraseExpress for a while, but it was more than I needed. For the past ~decade I've used TypeItIn which suits me very well. Try a few, it'll boil down to which one you like working with-they can all do the basic job.
All 3 great tips! Thank you Kevin ❤️️
Last tip is GOLD
Great tips!! Thanks!!
Thank you for great tips, as always.
Amazing 🙌
Amazing!

Thanks
Ty
Thank you
Template is going to be so much fun😂😂😂
Would anyone know how to do a search for unread emails in the new Outlook that is rolling out?
❤
When you have hundreds of unread emails, right click on your inbox and select "mark as read"
Yes!
Cool. BTW First
You tell me these now that I have a week left of high school
😂
You didn’t cover quick steps again, I teach new starters and it is always a big win when they find out about what quick steps can do
I’ll need to pull together another video 👍
Always full of surprises.❤
👍
Outlook have a telemetry included
Outlook has so many versions, while each has different functions. I’m not seeing templates under message. Which version is this?
How do I print an email thread with the oldest email first?
I use quick part instead of template
"Remove notifications so you can focus" ... why not just uninstall it then, no worries that way! lol other 2 tips were useful tho
I never received an email in outlook.
The ctrl drag the meeting is great, unless you want the meeting to occur in the next week, dragging doesn't cycle through the calender, and month view lacks the detail to set a precise time.
Ctrl click on multiple dates on the date navigator… even dates weeks or months apart. That’ll filter to just the dates you want… then ctrl drag the meeting 👍
@@KevinStratvert that's very cool thanks for the tip.
The other limitation I just discovered is that it only works if you are the organizer, otherwise it disassociates from the original meeting.
How does templates differ from signatures.
Signatures insert at the end. Templates insert at your cursor.
@@KevinStratvert Signatures can also insert at your cursor, and while there is limited space for storing templates on my Office365 at work, I have found no limits on saving Different templates as signatures. It's a great option.
I need to talk to you.
Hahaha. You really think those boxes are there for decoration?
To be honest, outlook is s**t
