Corporate greed sucks. I just wish we could buy games, and own them. I hate that in this world of digital stores I can't own anything. Just drives one towards piracy.
It doesn’t start in 2018. He talked about games being destroyed in his Battleforge video from 2015 and I think he touches on the subject even earlier in the test drive 3 video.
I mean, kind in you if you knowingly buy a single player game that requires a continuous internet connection. It's not like this dude is a psychic, but literally the only conclusion to doing it (buying a single player game with a continuous internet connection). Especially from ubisoft. Be like me, sees a game, it is always online, doesn't buy it. Be happy.
the thing is, they had 10 years to release an offline patch, they had 10 years to fix it and make it playable, and they just cut it off. AND THEN THEY REMOVED IT FROM PEOPLE'S LIBRARIES.
@@happydemmoman yes, but people still buy this kind of games, knowing that it could be done yet game makers don't do patch it to an offline experience. That's why I say it's in those who buy it, they know game companies are for profit organizations and still choose to throw their money to them, even if from the beginning they are doing something that will bite the gamers in the future.
@@dailyglop x2, because to me the only way to actually make this happen is to stop buying these games. They won't have the incentive to keep doing this bs.
Totally valid take. Crazy that you need to remind people that as a consumer you're obligated to vote with your wallet BEFORE joining angry online mobs. Considering Nintendo still has a fanbase I doubt we're gonna see a shift towards a respectable consumer population anytime soon.

Strange take. I didn’t buy that game and i also don’t want this to become normal so i’m glad the stop killing games campaign is happening
