Levi’s 527 stretch serve a similar function for me without the weird look for the knee pads. I feel like if I need a tactical pant, jeans aren’t the best material. However, I get the niche market these are designed for. They would be a lot better without the knee pad design added. I feel like these are meant to bridge a gap where you need some tactical capabilities but also blend in. It’s just a little overkill.
They are lower because when you actually kneel, pants rise up and the knee pads are at your knees at that point. All of their pants are designed that way and work great! As far as the stitching, I don’t feel it at all

Knee pad pockets seem too low. That top seam rides just above the knee. Can you feel it?
