Definitely not her key, but I've heard her sing like an angel on other tunes. Glen was struggling with the key he chose to play it in. Looks like they didn't have time to plan this thing out.
I'm sorry, but Dinah Shore CANNOT SING! Her performance hurts my ears. I can only imagine how difficult this was for Glen Campbell whose musical ear was pitch perfect. I have often wondered over the years if anyone in Dinah's circle of friends had told her that it's time to retire the singing part of her celebrity status. It would have been a merciful thing for them to do -- for her and for us.
@Harry Ohm I'm sure there's an insult directed at me somewhere in your post, but it slips past me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Obviously, you can't hear that Dinah is horribly pitchy all through this performance. Lucky you. ------------------------------ @heath I agree that she was a better singer earlier in her career. Unfortunately, her voice didn't age well. Her program in the early 60s was must see TV in our house. She was a lady of immense charm and likeability, but there came a time when her singing chops just weren't there anymore. I find it sad that no one leveled with her about that. On the flip side, Glen was fabulous well into the ravages of that hideous disease that eventually took him from us.
Two great artistes making magical music. If we knew what dross was going to follow in later years we would have appreciated and treasured them more.
32 years ago....where does time go?
DINAH and Glen are making beautiful music in Heaven now.
thanks for the upload, Breautube! beautiful interpretation of this lovely song..
Not too bad and such wonderful memories.
Listen to that guitar, will ya?!?
She seems like a nice person but honestly she always seems off key to me. He is super talented though.
Dinashore good name for a tire brand
CLUNK at 2:08!! haha oops. prob should have finger-picked it as well. He messed up three times on the guitar.
Could only listen to about a third of this...Dinah was not completely horrible...almost though
They sound better than the Beatles
Wow...this woman cant sing. Glen must have thought what on earth.
You know he knew.

Dinah sounds awful. I don’t like the old lady verbrato.

Has anyone in your circle of friends advised you to change your name? The sound of it must be like fingernails on a blackboard.
She made plenty of money doing it - so she couldn’t have been too bad... her recordings in the 60’s were spot on..

Maybe at few places but still way better than autotune singers of today
