No flashy graphics. No pre-recorded, lip-synched, auto-tuned vocals. No frantic camera work with one-second edits. No million-dollar sets, no green-screen effects, no explosions, no blip-blip-flash noise. Just two great talents sitting on two stools. That’s the stuff that wows me.
That was pure joy to watch. They were having so much fun together. Frankie looked so relaxed and Dinah was quite charming. I've always thought her voice was like warm honey.
He was on a her radio show in the 1940s and during that show she suddenly squealed and I think Frank Sinatra pinched her rear end but not to further but to feel her, a moment later she ,laughed as they both sang together. It was recorded and I heard it in the 1990s on the radio on a station that played old radio shows.
Harmonie is the key of life for the futur no matter where you from ,you never be along if you can play with somebody and the cultur will do the rest, thank a lot for the video bro.
Un truc de dingue, quoi! Simply looking for the "Tea For Two" one & here comes this crazy Medley... for 2--Dinah & Frank, as said. What a marvel!! Merci les gars!
What fun they both put their heart and soul into that performance. This was from a time of grace and style ethics honesty so much has been lost over the years people have become too complacent the worst thing that was ever formed was the cell phone and the Computer.
pretty, pretty, pretty...such fantastic music-making by two all-time great pop vocal artists who's peerless voices combine, intertwine,...simply sublime!
Played Nanette in my hs production of No, No, '75. I adored singing this music! "Tea for Two" was my star moment, lol! Our school director was impressed that I didnt "slide" between extreme notes. I was, too. Well, then I see Dinah here singing it so beautifully. Never mind, little 17 yr old me. 😉 Two gorgeous voices and faces, nothing like em around to this day. Thank you both for the memories and wonderful class of days gone by... 💛💜🌠
Outstanding "fucking" incredible historical Hollywood archive ever with really crazy real live soundtrack ever 😃😜🤪😉! Happy New Year to everyone from Paris France and always take care and wear a mouth mask ffp2!🙄🤥😷 Merci beaucoup! Emmanuel
Incredible video!!!! Never thought I would see Frank singing Tea For Two...The medley they do later is similar to the one they did on the Frank Sinatra Show. They were great together.
They enjoy each other - the Basis of good entertainment! I've never seen this Video before. I only know the other version of this duet. Just GREEEEAAATTT!
He was born and raised in Hoboken and had a New York accent and she was born and raised in Tennessee and had a Southern accent, but they matches each other.
If Frank Sinatra is the #1 Male vocalist, than Dinah Shore is the #1 Female vocalist. She was top notch in all respects. What a great personality to go along with her wonderful singing voice. So far there hasn't been anyone who comes close to their excellence.
I agree completely, Jorge. Dinah was very popular in her day, but even then I don't think people recognized what an incredible music talent she was. In addition to having a beautiful voice and perfect phrasing, she could improvise with the best of them (with Sinatra, for example). She is one of my very favorite singers.
Favorite part - 8:20 / "I Can't Give You Anything But Love, Baby' . Dinah's reactions when Frank seems to miss a beat. She seems bewildered at first, but when Franks starts to laugh, she cracks up. Love it! Thanks for posting this.
Frank and Dinah ended their relationship in the early 70s with an argument over Spiro Agnew. Agnew was already disgraced and had to resign; Dinah wasn't keen on having him at some social event. Frank remained loyal to Spiro, regardless.

I would favour bringing variety shows and getting rid of some of those awful reality shows...
@@sabri31 And also mostly fake and for show and drama. I don't even watch the late night TV talk show hosts of the 3 monopolies CBS, NBC, and ABC.
AMEN!! And Amen Again!! :)
Effing-A. These manipulating videos are NFG. They must be adult children raised on video games.
Oh... was Frank on there... also? LOL!
That was pure joy to watch. They were having so much fun together. Frankie looked so relaxed and Dinah was quite charming. I've always thought her voice was like warm honey.
Fantastic duets. She's great!
This is television at its most wonderful. I could watch Dinah forever. That smile of hers...❤️
Dinah was the greatest singer ever. We'll never see her like again.

I love the show and the music, but it makes me tear up. I was 16 when this aired, now I am in my 80's.
They looked like they were having fun and genuinely enjoyed each other's company!
They was fucking, and it's showbiz

Such easy charm! The talent just shines through, doesn’t it!
Absolutely divine. Artists today simply cannot emulate the natural attraction and talent these two had.
Timeless classic. This will be played for thousands of years! Imagine that, that era and people watching this from 1958. It’s surreal
Frank and Dinah together were sublime, for some unexplainable reason, and they knew it, too.
Two masters of their trade! You'll never see the likes of them again! So sad!
SMOOTH AS SILK THEY WERE THE PROS FOR SURE LOVE THIS
Fabulous. Even when things were going wrong around them they held it together and made great entertainment with style.
When things aren't perfect around them that's when it's the most entertaining.
And am I wrong or is Dinah going braless?
who cares whether she does or not ?
@@m.j9404 Taboo.
dinah shore saying 'both of 'em!' @ 3:13 fills me with so much joy
Mr. S at his peak! Shore was so darn cute and her voice blended magically with his.
They clearly cared for each other and had wonderful rapport.

They were the greatest
The two greatest popular singers of the twentieth century.

Man I loved their voices. Two of my favorites from way back.
If you down-thumbed this, you're a monster.
TOTALLY AGREE.
People who down-vote this music have zero class or taste.
@Marco Alessandro Frank sold more records than Dinah but I always felt she had the better voice. Dinah's the greatest singer ever!
@Marco Alessandro Huh!?

Wow, they were having so much fun, and it's still so much fun to watch all these years later.
That's called show biz! No wonder people want to be in the biz.
Dinah shore was so radiant and gave off such a beautiful energy in this.

Two marvellous voices !!!! Great stars !!!!
Great vocals by two of the best singers.
I challenge any modern day pop singer to be able to sing live like this....
No Bort, they cant sing without studio tricks or sound tracks.
That is what I call a real song!
Every time I watch this they put a smile on my face. XXX

CADA vez que los veo y escucho a estos inolvidables genios del buen cantar, me quedo más impresionado.
That is positively sensuous. What a wonderful set of voices and the choreography, so lively. Damn good band too .
I think I have complete Frank, and it's always new. In '58 I was 17. Best time of my life. Thanks Frank.
Perfect together!
I love Dinah Shore so much. I used to watch runs of her show.
Her voice was a gift from God. I always thought she was the greatest of all divas.
Wonderful

I went to a taping of a Dinah Shore show. It was terrific.

Siempre será una inmensa felicidad verlos cantar en esta extraordinaria pieza musical a Dina Shoe y Frank Sinatra.
Love it! Always were great together.

Love them both in this live duet.
So much chemistry between these too & their talent is just way out there.

Oh yes. They lived in a far far better and smarter world. sweet. charming. more innocent.
So sweet... ❤️
Their voices were not the only things that blended. They were a unit at this time.
I love it!
It's called Charm--something that no longer exists in our crass culture.
Lovely!
Two great talents.:)
