Hi Sherrie! Thank you for the very kind words. I’ve never been called a proper anything before 😂. You kept me company on my morning stitch and you’re so fun to watch! I love your stories and you have beautiful projects! ♥️
Great update and aware you'd rather be stitching than putting on an IT technician hat. I hope you plan for weekly updates makes things easier for you. I love Lavender and Lace and glad you chose an easy word like pain. Imagine us all trying to spell the title 🙈 take care and thank you for continuing to stitch and share your stitching life and extras with us x
Lovely to see you back so soon. I enjoyed your sleep walking antics. The Owl Forest calendar is looking beautiful. I feel you pain parting with charts 😊
So lovely your going to try weekly videos, such a treat for us. I love hearing your stories they're funny but kinda scary this time. Glad you checked the oven for sure! I like your calendar stitch everytime you show us, it's so pretty in all the colours. Take care hun 😁
Love that you are going to try weekly floss tubes!! I always look forward to your lovely shows, too funny! I will be in pain if it does not work out for you!! Thank you!!
I am very glad that you received the package. It is my pleasure that you can have a little piece of my country and It is a shame that we could not get together because of the long distances. My older sister used to be a sleep walker, and one of the "things" she used to to was to take away my blanket , so in the middle of the night I would wake up freezing and she will have her blankets and also mine. The calendar is going so fast and beautiful. I had a great time in your country. Everything is so beautiful, so many places to go and we had limited days. I have to go back.
Hi Laura, I believe I met you at the Sweata Weatha retreat in Philadelphia last year. If I'm correct, I hope you'll be going this year too so we have a chance to say "Hi" again.
Hi, so glad to see your video this morning. I was moved to hear what you've been experiencing with sleep walking. I had a parent who experienced the same thing as an older person. I wound up buying a motion activated device that is small and can be placed anywhere. I used to place it by the bedroom door so if he got up and began sleepwalking it would give a loud alarm. Loud enough to rouse you awake. Since you can place it anywhere it is versatile depending on your home layout. It wasn't expensive and battery operated. Hope this idea is of benefit to you. Happy stitching!!
What a lovely surprise to see you so soon Sherrie!!! I have fully kitted Bella Filipina Bellitrix, Ive had it fully kitted for about 4 months now and I so want to start it so very bad but I am resisting as I have SO MANY on the go as it is. I know it will be my only stitch once I start it, should I just go to hell with it and put all the ones I am working on away, and do this as I am aching so bad here - so very PAIN full - HELP!!!!!!!! Yep chop the tree down lady, I want to know what is going on with sleeping bag man too!!! HAHA you kill me with these stories, I laugh so very much. One of my sisters sleep walks, Im not sure if she does it a lot now but when she was little you never knew where shed end up!! She didnt go out of the house, thank goodness, Mum was a light sleeper so she would hear her and she would gently lead her back to bed and nope she didnt remember it at all. Would you have put your missing June as way whilst you were doing this??? I had my heart in my mouth when you started to tell us about what you did to the grill, holy moly!!! Get that pillow boltser missy, it will help you and your achy back!! I should know, Im a qualified massage therapist, so hop to it lady - have a fab week dals, see you next weekend 💋 💋
@@justsewsherrie am also a Reiki Master, Crystal Healer and Tarot reader - and I work 4 days per week for an Energy Retail here in Melbourne. I learnt of the above as I was so interested in everything, yes I treat people but only when I want to LOL
Oh definitely do a weekly flosstube, I’m up for that I love seeing your name pop up and I’m straight in there. Sorry about your sleepwalking but the grill story is hilarious 😅, please be safe though. I’m loving the owl forest embroidery calendar the threads are lovely 🥰
Love a weekly video. The story of the grill Pan made me laugh your stories get better every week .I feel your pain when you after to part with that pattern ❤
Lovely to see you back so soon! I hope the stresses that might cause the sleepwalking fly away soon. Have you ever thought about putting a camera up to catch your antics??? Stay safe (if you can!) Xx
Awesome video! It looks like there are 8 sections to Christmas Rules and there are 24 weeks between July 1st and December 1st. So if you do a section every 3 weeks, presto, you will meet your timeline!!! Love all your projects. Hope the sleep walking settles down. It would be worrying if it continues. Looking forward to the weekly videos.
Love your Patchwork Calendar and Mary Robard. And that Ivlie Godefroid just was added to my wishlist. I do love a needle book! That Christmas stitch would need to be split in five parts to start in July and end at the beginning of December. West End Embroidery carries 100/3s. Hope that helps!
Oh, my when you said Laura and showed the sweet backs, my mouth watered! I am hoping to meet her at Sweata Weatha in October. And have you watch the Artsy Housewife’s FT? She is a great designer and seems so sweet and genuine. Thanks for being an awesome Flosstuber
What a lovely surprise to see you back so soon. I wonder if your sleep walking self has found a new home for your missing “June”. I look forward to watching you each week now and having a good giggle with you. Happy stitching and have a wonderful week 💞
Lovely video again Sherrie! If you start Christmas Rules July 1st and you want it completed by Dec 1st you have just 5 months to work on it. Weekly videos will be lovely if it works for you.
@@justsewsherrie I had to consult with my Yorkie friend as I wasn’t sure if canny meant, I got it now 😆 (she did mention it’s Scottish and ‘they don’t speak English, just like you’ 🤣 I had to remind her that us Americans just don’t run around willy nilly tossing u’s in everything 😁
Great to see you back so soon♥️. It's a shame that you couldn't do some stitching whilst you're sleep walking lol. What beautiful gifts Laura(hope I remembered her name right) sent😃. I could see the pain you were going through deciding to let L&L chart away. It's god to say 'see you next week'. Have a good one🤗
For me it's also the pattern, fabric and thread. Sometimes I wish I'd chosen a different fabric as my eyes don't agree with higher counts and I tend to stick to the called for count although I am trying to use up fabrics from my stash and finding Linens more difficult to stitch on than Evenweave and I really personally prefer lighter colours to stitch on anyway. Probably more so because I'm not a Halloween or spooky follower and like to see the colours and these fit in better with all my quilted wall hangings, framed embroideries etc. As long as I enjoy what I'm stitching but some I admittedly struggle with so they don't get finished first!!
Hi sherrie I am lesley and am from Yorkshire pleased you had a look at west end they are brilliant please can you tell me where you got your italian fabric from I've been wanting some forever and a day lol thanks take care 🎉
Yey, so glad you got one of the bags! Good luck with the weekly Flosstubes. Could you turn the power off to oven before bed? It may not stop you using it but it's another step to have to turn it on which you may not do while sleep walking? 💗
That’s a really good idea Rebecca. Thank you and yes Pauline messaged to say she had more material and could make one for me. You can probably tell how chuffed I was 🤣
Well hello! Sherrie I’d watch you if you did daily Floss tubes, not suggesting you do of course. I feel your PAIN, I stepped away from stitching a few years ago, I’ve no idea why, and donated loads of my stash to charity shops and recycled years of magazines as you couldn’t give them away, nobody wanted them. Oh if I could time travel! See you next time, take care my lovely.
OMG goodness... I don't know how everyone gets so much done in a week! I feel like I am getting NOTHING done with only 2-3 hours a night and 4-6 hours on weekends And how to think of 2025? I won't even think of plans for 2025 until February 2025 LOL

Aw Katie Thank you for the contribution you make to the stitching world. You really are inspirational!! One day I’ll be a ‘proper stitcher’ like you 🤣

The patchwork calendar - you could stitch your initials/the year in the place where you missed the triangle of the border 😻
