Loved the live! Was super awesome having you reply to our comments! The day after your live the north side of Bend, Oregon caught on fire and we ended up not having internet for 30 hours so we were just now able to watch this video! Keep up the good work, my boyfriend and I love your content! 😊
We have a slightly different yet strangely similar problem....... there are huge minedumps all around Johannesburg, and when the wind picks up sufficiently we have mine-dump dust.... it's finer than usual dust and has loverly tastey yummy traces of arsenic (used in the process of extracting the gold). Pretty much nothing grows on them. So dust it is... when I say huge. I'm talking several square kilometers footprint, and, some 50 Meters high...... So we really, really don't need anymore dust 🤧
I'm sorry that I missed your live. I need to go back and watch it. I'm glad that you are feeling better. I need to try the sausage in the soup. That sounds pretty good. Great video!
Saharan dust storms are good, they help suppress hurricanes that might destroy TX 😂 Does that mini come with any way round tripod mount it or does it just have those legs? I just sold my Starlink gen2 kit that I had setup for camping with a tripod mount.
It does not come with a tripod mount, but I did just order one off Etsy. Waiting for that to come in and I’ll show the setup. I bought a 10’ tripod to use when it comes in.
Great video! So good to see that the Starlink mini worked so well for a live stream. We’ve been thinking about getting one once the cost comes down a little for the hardware.
The live was fun, I hope you do them regularly. That mini Starlink is cool! I love how compact it is. Looks like cracking the window in the tent worked out? That blue tooth battery is really cool! I've never seen that before. Be sure to bring some jumper cables so you can recharge it if you need to. 😉
Saharan come around every few years but the amount of dust is much lower than this go around. Rain will help pull it out of the atmosphere. When you have the GoPro looking up when you are riding the scooter and the sun was just off to the right you could see the dust in the sky. 😢🌫️ Wish I could have come with you 😢 that would be a great experience to experience 😊
Going to look into those scooters. My Wife, Kiddo and I were out at Texoma last weekend, not as hot and the wind made the Texas heat a bit more forgiving, but a scooter would've definitely came in handy haha. Cheers!
I purchased Starlink in June for a trip and 2 days after I set it up the Mini was released. At first, it was an add-on only so I never returned it. Now you can purchase it as a stand-alone. Smh. I bought a 12v to 57v booster and 3d printed the case but man the Mini with usb-c would have been so much easier!
Nice shady site 👍. If I could figure out a way to [safely] tote my little buddy (Shihtzu) on one of those scooters, I'd probably invest in one for camping. It'd be a lot easier than transporting the 26" fat tire ebike. NOCO makes decent stuff. 👍
Nice Hokas boomer. LOL. That was a beautiful campsite. I would’ve taken one of those orange traffic cones and put it in the spot next to me then played dumb if someone asked me about it. What rechargeable insect repellent were you using?
Hi! We are new subscribers and fellow Texans! We are out of west Texas. Anyhow, we are wanting to know what self inflating mattress you use? Please help! Thanks so much.
Honestly, I do t plan to do a review between the 2. For me, the BougeRV is much better than the Wave2. On paper the Wave2 should be cooler, but that’s not my experience.
@@BrianWatersOutdoors yeah, I feel the same. I've never been so letdown by a product as I have by the wave 2. I just don't want to spend another grand on a "portable ac" just to be disappointed again. It wouldn't even reduce the temp on my tune by more than 1 degree f
The Wave 2 gets colder if you attach a duct to the front air intake so it's pulling air from the area you want to cool instead of the outside hot air. That's been my experience.

Thank you, and that’s awful about the fires. Hope everyone is safe
From South Africa you are very welcome to the Sarahan sand .... Indeed many thanks for keeping it away from us 😅
😂😂😂👍🏻

Dude wipes rock your best friend when camping..great video
😂👍🏻👍🏻
I also wanted to say that because of you, I have tried the Dude Wipes! They are pretty nice! Lol
😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Potato soup sounds good. My go to would be Canada dry caffeine free ginger ale on ice and ice cold that’s always good for upset stomach.
👍🏻👍🏻

It worked awesome. Prices will probably come down in a few months, or….the mini 2 will be out by then😂

I enjoyed the live stream even though I didn’t see it "live". The camp area looks good. The new Russel Crow movie is called Land of Bad.
Thanks Troy👍🏻 I watched the first 5 minutes and zonked out. I need to watch it next week
FELLOW TEXAN , IM A NEW SUBSCRIBER. GREAT VIDEO. 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you!
The live stream was good. 👍
Thank you sir👍🏻
That backwards hat makes you look soooo much cooler 😂
Thanks! I surely do appreciate your opinion👍🏻👍🏻
Dude wipe fail!! 😂😂 Like wiping with a paper towel and being pieces of paper stuck to your face.
Lolol. I did notice that editing. Oh well 🤷🤷😂
@@BrianWatersOutdoors 🤣
Looking Good....and thanks for doing this in the Heat...Take care...:)
Thanks👍🏻👍🏻
😎👍🏻👍🏻
That’s hot!!! I can’t wait for fall, I’m soooo done with this summer heat.
Me too buddy! Love cold weather camping

Thank you👍🏻👍🏻
I'm watching a video that had a live stream that i attended.. mind blown... lol

lol, whatever! Things are comfy! The repellant was a Nitecore EMR40 (I think). I’ll be posting up a review of it on my other channel here soon

Thanks! I’ve tried a lot of them and my favorite is the Lost Horizon 4.5” self inflating mattress. Can find them on Amazon in several different sizes.
Interested in the tent if you decide to sell. My daughter lives in Lewisville area so I’m up there often.
Shoot me an email so I have it. Brianwatersoutdoors@gmail.com
😊
👍🏻👍🏻
Love your videos! What is your light stand?
Thanks. It’s a Devos Lightranger
Brian how much is the star link mini? I tried looking it up on Google n it never showed it
$599 right now. Wait a few months and it will drop in price very likely
👍🏻👍🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
If you still have the wave 2, can you do a comparison video to the bougerv? I have the wave and have been extremely disappointed in its performance.

You’re not in North Africa. Dust storm your mention starts with a H. Hob something
I agree I am not in Africa, however the Saharan dust did reach the SE United States.
