But you know how roses have petals right? "rose petals" ... and then you know that there's a metallic color called "Rose Gold" because of its pink rosy color, right? So basically he's saying he's putting the petal(pedal) to the metal, (insinuating going fast) but like "rose gold" creating this genius bar if that makes sense. To further clarify, a rose petal is not gold of course but if you put that rose "pedal" to the "metal" you hypothetically get rose gold. Hope this helps.
