Of those 172 people, 8 of them were unarmmed. Of those 8, 3 people were not fleeing the scene. 10 unarmmed white people who weren't fleeing the scene were shot and killed. Black people make up 13% of the population. these numbers have been decreasing over the past few years. When you factor in the amount of crimes committed by black people as opposed to white people, the numbers add up. Racism isn't a problem, at least not a big problem, when it comes to police shootings. You are way more likely to die from something as mundane as a heart disease or a car crash. The chances of a black person dying at the hands of the police each year for no reason are about %0.000000807655932 and over the course of a lifetime about %0.00005734357. You are more likely to get struck by lightning twice in the same year. Get over this completely irrational belief and come join the rest of us in reality.
