Jim Harbaugh will bring tough, smart, power football to Hollywood. I guarantee that in a few years, the Chargers will exceed the Rams as L.A.'s primary focus in the NFL. He's the best head coach the Chargers have had since Don "Air" Coryell with respect to Marty Schottenheimer who also belongs in Canton with Dan Reeves.
lol Chargers hardly even have a fan base and a big part of the problem is they have zero business being in LA. I wish they could just move back to San Diego, but I don’t care I’m an Eagles fan I just hate LA getting teams for no reason and not even having actual fans. When the Eagles played Chargers in LA it was an Eagles home game.
@@Byronic19134interesting dynamic for sure. I think the jets and giants share the same stadium too. I am a Detroit guy. I have always found it damaging to both brands when 2 r in the same location. It just waters down both franchises. The Yankees r the only team that I can point to as a clear great brand in that type of scenario. The cubs don’t really get it for me
@@Byronic19134That's because there is so much to do in SoCal besides go to a football game.
@@Byronic19134 Jim Harbaugh will change the paradigm in Los Angeles. When his career is over he will be remembered, much like Jimmy Johnson, as one of the great coaches ever in both college and professional football. The sentiments are true at the moment, check in a few years. And no, I'm not a Wolverine guy! I'm a Golden Domer all the way. Go Irish!
@@chevy4x466 The history of a shared facility has too do with the NFL television contract with the networks and dates back decades. It's relative to the Chargers relocation up the coast of California to Los Angeles. There was a time when the AFC's (obviously) New York Jets entertained the idea of relocation away from the New York market and was strongly encouraged by the League to remain in New York (or area), their only option after being screwed by New York City in their lease at Shea Stadium was to play across the Hudson at Giants Stadium. At the time, Giant owner Wellington Mara, whome was not enamored with sharing his stadium with another team was talked into the premise by Pete Rozelle who diplomatically also worked out a deal with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority in The Meadowlands. The main reason, the NFL has always wanted a two team footprint in the New York and LA markets with both AFC anf NFC representation to make their television contract more economically lucrative. Some will question, than why did LA lack ANY NFL presence for years? Well, that's complex, but had to do a lot with the relationship Al Davis had with the league during his tenure as Raiders owner and Georgia Frontiere's tenure as Rams owner whom was not exactly a "company" woman herself. Upon becoming commissioner, Roger Goodell, stated that he was determined to make Los Angeles an NFL market again and used and believed in the foundationational principle that it must be a two team, two conference market. It's unfortunate that San Diego lost the Chargers and that New York City itself lost both the Giants and Jets but this is a commentary on someone else platform channel, not a novel. Sorry Jackson. I love this game of ours.
Killed It A⚡️
Eboigbe didn’t have a lot of production?! Dude had 62 tackles, 7 sacks, 11 TFL and 31 QB pressures! Those are Jer’zahn Newton level numbers, and in the SEC. And he has an 84 PFF run defense grade. AND a big motor, at 297 lbs (not 290). Guy was way undervalued by the league, it was crazy that he fell to the 4th, especially with the dearth of DT in this draft.
If alt becomes a great player, he will have a greater impact than any wr over the course of a 10-12 year career. Just look at the top tackles now: Sewell, Williams and Tunsil.
There was zero chance Jim harbaugh didn’t take alt
Tarheeb Still is a bit of a head scratcher. Until you think about it and... Of course it's because he had a monster game against Harbaugh's michigan. 4 tackles and 3 run stops. Michigan needs to run and Tarheeb made it difficult for the most run focused team in college. Of course Harbaugh would think highly of him
Who was projecting Alt at 10? Literally everyone had him either going to the Titans at 7 or LA at 5. And Colson was a steal at 69
Cornelius Johnson blocked two punts, he’s definitely a Fickin pick. He’s also the best blocking WR in the entire draft.
Still’s problem wasn’t production or instincts, it was the 19 career penalties that is his problem. But definitely a reach, they should have taken a center, Nourzad was right there!
Anyone who wanted a WR with the pick 5 should be happy to have Ladd at 34.
WR are inconsistent performers once in the NFL.
@@aaronmoravekyup, look at what top offensive tackles do for teams.
Penei Sewell
Trent Williams
Laramie Tunsil
anyone who wanted a reciever at 5 didnt remeber the qj pick last year
Ladd was my back up plan if we didn’t draft a WR in the 1st so I’m extremely excited ⚡️
Been waiting all day for my Bengals. I will comment on this one for you to hurry up kind sir simply because I'm upset Harbaugh took McConkey and Rice
Alt going be the only player of this draft still starting for 10 year
Well yeah, we didn’t draft a qb so who else really plays that long these days
Only knock on chargers is no TE and iol
The Spanos curse is undefeated
💯
Hes finally paying for coaching so what are you complaining about? WR dont win championships
No complaint just pointing out the curse, can’t overcome the curse of the Spani@@DonnyCanHands
The Harbaugh effect will overshadow it. Keep hating
@@Bnate8 an effect can’t overcome a curse. You need more
People need to remember Jim was on the HOT SEAT at Michigan before he righted the ship. Hopefully charger fans quell their expectations a bit.
On hot seat because he wanted to coach in nfl
@@Jamar-lg9ob No because he couldn’t beat Ohio state or win conference. He was at UM for 7 years he almost got fired after year 4 after his fourth loss to Ohio.
Seems like you did no real research
Congrats to the chargers for landing Brock bowers son. Go raiders!
Congrats to the Raiders for ruining another TE career 😂
I'll take atl over nabers 10 out of 20 times
Most people are excited for the new season, most will be disappointed.
I bet we win 11 games I'll put a hundred down on that
12 wins and a dream!
@@LightiningHobo at least 18 wins in the regular season and 5 wins in the post season.
Mcladdy is nothing like Keenan Allen. So let's just end that bs.
I agree, hes so much better
@@jimearl5298 can't be. Nice try though.
@@jimearl5298. Hopefully he's fun to watch though. He does have QB skills
@@naibz7439 wait and watch, his jersey will sell out by week 3. Watched every snap for 3+ years. I promise yal won't be disappointed
Lmao Harb thinks he slick ! It got leaked he was gonna trade Herb to MIN. Overall good draft
Thats not accurate according to their response when asked by reporters during an after draft interview. A few teams called trying to get Herbert and were all shut down immediately by Harbaugh and Hortiz stating that is something they would never do.
What are you talking about? The Viks or Pats asked and it was denied. Herb said he never even heard about it. The cap hit they would take would be 63m. Get outta here
Don’t listen to everything you hear. Check your sources. Where’s the trade? Did it happen?
