I replaced the suction manifold on my 2014 at 575k miles. Now I also have a 2019 126 with 485k miles. Freightliner told me the suction manifold problem was fixed in 2015. Is that true? Please respond. Love the channel!
Francisco ase un año le pregunte por si el tanke del diesel puedo ponerlo en el lado del pasagero en el tanke dice driver said podria aser el Missouri trabajo ojala y me contestes
Happened to me. Suction manifold broke but thankfully i did not try restarting the truck when Stop 🛑 Engine light came on. Had it towed. Still ended up spending $4500 as the Oil Pump needed to be replaced l. It sucks
Just repaired mine 19k repair for a 250 dollar part broke in the same exact place at 820k miles my mechanic told me to replace it at least every 2 years because it's plastic it heats up and cools off many times and that makes it brittle. Be safe out there drivers remember like he said as soon as that red light comes on stop the engine coast to the shoulder if possible.
This sounds more likely like a recall for Mercedes Benz. Or Detroit. I have mbe4000 with a k31 turbo and over 1500000 miles and still going strong even that it’s getting close for an overhaul but those dd13 and dd15 are great engines and should be a recall for all that type of damage
It destroyed my engine because of that just like he explained when you have a manual like i do...my engine just locked up....freightliner should be made to pay for a rebuild

If you can document at least 5 cases you have a multimillion lawsuit
