Your dieffenbachia is called camille. Definitely change the pot to ceramic or plastic, something that will help retain water better and move it to a lower light space. Mine has gave me trouble for about a year before figuring it out. Also, don't let it dry out...I water mine when it's about 75% dry. Whenever I would let it dry out, the leaves would turn yellow and then fall off.
That Rubber Plant is Burgundy variety only... if it's started being more green.. that's means it's not getting enough light.. try to more it near to any south or west facing window..
i love your vibe. Just saw you for the first time today and subscribed. Im so curious where you're from. You sound like you may be from the midwest area. I'm originally from Illinois and you sound like my relatives.
Carla Durbin Hey, thank you! 🤗 glad that you’re here! I was born in Illinois but have lived in Wisconsin since before I started high school. I consider myself a Wisconsinite though 😁
Ash the Curly Blonde it’s beautiful here: I have no desire to leave. It’s grown exponentially so lots of change since my childhood but I can see the appeal.
Omg you have such a wonderful plant collection! They all look so happy and healthy. The variegated Hoya heart is precious and the amazonica is GORGEOUS, hopefully it has new growth soon 🤞happily subscribing, I’m always excited to find new plant friends ☺️
Nature's Rainbow Thank you so much 💚 I actually just filmed the repotting of the overwatered jade pothos yesterday! Will be going up tomorrow. Glad to meet you as well! ✨
28:17 I could be wrong, but that looks like Tillandsia caput-medusae. I spritz my airplants a couple times a week & soak them in water for 15-30min weekly. After soaking them, I hang them upside-down to remove excess water & have them in front of a fan for roughly the same amount of time. If you ever have a hairy airplant like Tillandsia tectorum, never submerge them in water like you would the others. The trichomes trap the water & cause it to rot. Other than that, they tolerate more sunlight & infrequent spritzing. I'm surprised your Jade is a slow grower. In my experience, they are vigorous growers & can easily get out of hand because every petal that falls off propagates effortlessly. My tiny variegated one is slow though, so I'm in awe of yours! Perhaps your Jade is getting watered too frequently? The Dieffenbachia might be receiving too much sunlight, but I don't think they are as particular as some of your other low-light plants that are clearly thriving in all those bright spots. You have some happy looking plants!
Wow! First of all, I'm flattered you spent the time to leave a super informative comment. Second of all, thank you for all the suggestions! I definitely should incorporate some of those for my airplant. It would probably thrive more. As for the jade - I think it may be a combination of overwatering and not enough light. It was sitting on the floor below and to the left of a south window and wasn't getting any direct sunlight. I also recently repotted it in terracotta and used cactus soil with extra perlite so hopefully it will be better draining and dry out faster. And I just put it in a west window that gets lots of direct sun in the afternoon so I'm hoping I will see some improvement! I actually just repotted the dieffenbachia into a ceramic pot after this video went up and it seems to be doing a little better! I noticed that the terracotta was just drying the soil out to quickly and it wanted to be wetter than most of my other plants. Hopefully the ceramic pot will do the trick!
Hello 👋🏻 Ashley.! Super fun! Thank you 😊. I left you a long message (sorry). But you’ll like it 🤞🏼. Off to Lowe’s! 👏🏼👏🏼🤗🌱🤗💚😁. I really freaken love the glass box mounted on the wall for your cutting’s Getting it. Umm 🤔. Maybe if you have time? Miss celeb. 👈🏼 Bravo 👏🏼 J/k. O brother! I keep writing more. You have a great thing going here! Thanks. 🌱🌱🌱🌱
Mine I have had in the same pot. Ot was fne till dropped and dog trampled part of it ( no didn't eat it) Then since I lost part of the plan I think the pot was too big so I trans planted it in to a smaller one in its dropping leaves too I don't know what I'm doing wrong either. Ugh. I have to keep this alive its from my moms funeral
Heather B Nice I would just give it some time! Sometimes plants need time to acclimate. Just make sure to give it bright indirect light and water when the first inch or two of the soil is dry!
Thanks for the tour! Lot of beautiful plants! The green sansevierias look like Sansevieria/Dracaena trifasciata to me. They're the botanical species from which the laurentii cultivar has been developed. The heartshaped leaf philo is called Philodendron hederaceum these days. The lemon lime is a cultivar of it and that's why one of the leaves on yours has partly reverted to the original green. Mine also has one single leaf that is partly darker green. I think your, somewhat leggy, jade would do much better if you could give it several hours of direct sun a day.
One Strange Animal Thank you so much!! I guess I need to do more research on my plants lol thank you for the wealth of information! 🤗 I was actually thinking of putting more plants outside so I guess that’s where the Jades will go! 💚
Very beautiful plants dear friend thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👌🤗👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏿🙏🏿
Thank you!!

If you don't like your lipstick plant, hold onto it until you found a wishlist plant, then give the Lipstick plant to someone.
Elmer Baez great suggestion! I was also thinking about selling but that’s a good one too 👌
