- The front fields are under water from the massive rain and the water isn't draining like it should. In this episode we take off into the woods to find the problem with the drainage ditch and get it flowing.
Stay safe. Not only from snakes, but down trees like that aren't the most stable. Great job!
Thank you!
A nice clearing this day. Great water flow. 🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you!
Very nicely done 🤘
Thank you!
Log jams are so much worse than beaver dams, imho. There's no order to them so there's no good way to approach them. You just have to wade in there and hope for the best!
Those logs get waterlogged and quite heavy! The good thing though is no mud packed with sticks and cane to pull down. Waders are a must for sure!
Your posts are interesting but would be a lot more so if you talked to us (the viewers ) at least occasionally. Just a bit about your thoughts on how you are planning to tackle the problem would make us feel more welcome and involved.
A very interesting comment! Something I have found is that the people that watch this type of content are very divided on the amount of talking they like. Some just want to hear and see the water flowing and no talking, others like the talking. I started a second channel that soon I will be uploading videos with more talking for those that want that. I think I may publish the same videos there but without editing out all the talking.
@@BarrettFarms what's the name of the second channel?

I couldn't believe you were down in the water. You guys hardly get a break from snakes all year! There's just no good place for those trees, eh?
The trees definitely become a big problem around the water. If the beavers don't knock them over the wind does!
Those woods could use a good controlled burn. Too much dead debris and vines built up.
So true, it needs it really bad.
@@BarrettFarms It would make an excellent episode 🔥
👍👍💪❤️❤️
is that an old blockage or ya'll get a storm so it's new ?
Mostly old. I wanted to get in there this winter and cut up the fallen trees but missed my window the short couple weeks it was actually dry. If I remember right, most of the tree damaged happened last April.
