Jerry, I think you are amazingly patient with the young cowboys. Daniell and Henson are so encouraging. Jason riding mighty eagle makes my heart soar. Another wonderful family ranching video. Thank you for sharing. Horses as always do their job well.🤠❣❣❣😇
👍👍👍. Awesome video watching the kids gettin involved and horses on their first smaller roundup while on training. Am surprised someone didn’t roundup that dang generator and take it out in the desert to a junk pile where it belongs. Though the videos ending was special for the kids and their treats and definitely brought the memories of when my kids did the same while learning to ride. A lot of work for mom but sure does teach the kids about animals and the work it takes to own and operate a large ranch. And safety too. Love the longer video and loved your new cameragirl cus she did amazing. Days are long and heat is bad but somehow we manage to get work done and definitely sleep real good. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Haidyn, does great camera work, tell her we enjoyed her video. I suspect most generators are made in China. Champion is built in China to Champion USA specifications and is rated most reliable. But as you well know, any machine can fail and any horse can buck. Good to see your subscribers coming up. You have a great channel.
Awesome video.. thank you for sharing.. I love to watch you guys work😅😅 I also like the longer video.. luv the way u fix ur brand on the lower left👍🏽👍🏽 Be Blessed🙏🏽 Keep up the good work 💪🏽
Thank you for sharing! I feel the frustration on the generator, I’m glad you didn’t cut that part out, people need to know, everything has to be tough to make it out in the beautiful desert! Have a great day.
I love the longer videos. Could watch you for hrs. You guys are amazing at what you do thank you for sharing your life and farm with us. Living my dream thru UA-cam lol. I'll comment again after I watch the whole video..
I've been sick withCovid for the last 2 weeks and have been binge watching your videos. To me the most precious horse on your ranch is "Mighty Eagle." To me there just isn't a better teacher for your son than he is. 😀
That's quite the head gadget , never seen anything like that before. Sure have better control of calf movement. Branding time was always 1 of my favorite those oysters make for a good meal. Y'all Take Care and God Bless.
Just found your channel a couple days ago, loving it. Grew up on a ranch in Montana, my first horse was a welsh pony. Dad would cross the Welsh studs with quarter horse mares and get a mid size horse that would work for you all day long. RD
Fancy is doing great! We just have to work on her attitude so she can make friends. Definitely waiting for the fall to see what colts you all have left. its to hot down here in the valley right now
I just found your Channel. My Family is from Holbrook ,Az. I Live in Phoenix. This is beautiful to see. An even better to see young kids out there give a helping hand on the ranch. SUBSCRIBED!! Keep it up!
First time to your channel.. Like watching you work. My mom grow up working cattle she gave it up when she got married so we kids never got the opportunity to try it.
Makes sense. Bull calfs is what I'm saying. Saw you cut your bull calfs and branded them. Our calves we ship in utah we don't have to brand. Makes sense now. Thanks
Is the longer application time for the brand compared to the foals due to it being an electric brander vs a heated branding iron or is it due to horses vs cattle hide? We have cattle we are needing to brand for the first time, they have short hair coats however Senepol. The quick branding of the horses doesn't seem too bad, can you brand cattle that quick?
I like watching you guys.just a question from a city slicker.when you cut the nuts of the young bulls do you need to tie the connecting tissue or just let it heal on it's own.
This comment is some what late ( but ) ur generator may have ran low on oil if so it would not restart. An by the way I’m enjoying ur videos.. how big is ur spread.
@@PaintedDesertRanch bull calves saw you branded your bull calves you cut. We actually don't brand anything we sell unless we're holding back for replacement. But that makes sense didn't know AZ made you. Utah doesn't. Thanks

I need a mighty eagle in my life!

Well I hope you can still learn something from our videos! Thanks for watching! Please share with your mom too 😉
@@PaintedDesertRanch thank you but my mom passed this past May. I still miss her calling everyday to check on me.
Sounds like she was a great mom!
I was hoping to see the little boy and pony drag out the smallest calf that would've been awesome!
Maybe today, we’re branding again 😂
@@PaintedDesertRanch please do!
Your a good roper!
Lil bit of oil would have have been the ticket, all new one just have enough to start up!
Yeah already did check the oil it’s full but thanks for the info

Ok. Another thing is when we sell freezer beef etc... a brand is required as well.
@@PaintedDesertRanch that is good to know. Crazy were not far from you guys.
Ever get any calves stolen?
No, we don’t have a problem with that
@@PaintedDesertRanch not you, the guy that doesn’t brand his calves at ABC homestead and farm
Looks like the kid is ready for a size up 🥴
Czar I like him
Thank you. He’s a good horse
@@PaintedDesertRanch ur price still35k
Yep
Thanks 😊
Might Eagle is the best!
Time to throw some steaks on and open the beers and feed the crew !!
😂
Muy buen video me gusto like 👍
I feel for the little bulls. Brand on top and castrated at the same time. Rough day.
Like your video you make my day What happened to fire branding 😃
Glad to make your day. 😁 we do it all, just not all in one video ☺️
Is branding painful? I love watching your videos and learning new things about animals ❤
I’m sure it stings for a little but it’s for the greater good. I’m so glad you’re learning 😎
If you're big enough to put on your own chaps you're big enough to have a full size horse.
He’s getting a bigger horse soon, stay tuned.
Check the oil
Yeah did that still no start. Thanks

Hide. No- cattle take longer

It heals on its own. Thanks for watching!!
👍🏽
How much do you charge to start a horse? Or even like a refresher?
Hi. We don’t do refreshers. $800/30 rides, minimum of 90 rides for colt starting.
Where did y’all get nordforks from
They’re all over the internet nowadays. Etsy, e-bay...
TOUGH PLACE TO MAKE A LIVING...
This comment is some what late ( but ) ur generator may have ran low on oil if so it would not restart. An by the way I’m enjoying ur videos.. how big is ur spread.
That wasn’t the problem ,but thank. Keep watching
Enough to feed our herd
I watched the freez branding do you'll do that typ branding
No
How come it takes so much longer for the iron to be on the calves as opposed to when you brand your foals?
Probably thicker hair, and hide.
Did you say that young fella's last name was Ballantyne as in Jesse?
No, the horse’s name is Valentine
@@PaintedDesertRanch thanks for your reply!
When Jasper grows out of Mighty Eagle will Brooks ride him? ❤️🤍💙
Maybe!
❤ 🏇 ❤ The little one needs to toss big brother off the pony and start riding. Big brother needs a horse.
Jasper is not our child. He is our nephew. I believe Jasper was like 8 years old in this video. He’s a big kid.
Do generators flood?
Yes
How much are your baby foals
They’ll start at 3k
Carry some starting fluid
Why are you guys branding what your cutting bull wise? We tag but don't waste time branding if they're going to sale soon.
It’s Arizona state law, they must be branded. I don’t quite understand what you’re trying to ask about bulls.
@@PaintedDesertRanch bull calves saw you branded your bull calves you cut. We actually don't brand anything we sell unless we're holding back for replacement. But that makes sense didn't know AZ made you. Utah doesn't. Thanks
