What an incredible story! Watching the lost foal find its way back to a loving family was so heartwarming. The rescue effort was truly dramatic and inspiring. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with us
This video warmed my heart! The way the foal recognized its new family was so sweet. It’s amazing to see the bond between animals and humans. Great storytelling
She's a sweetheart. I don't think she would of gone on to much longer , when she was with different horse's none of them wanted to take her on. Thank you for helping this beautiful girl out and giving her a chance
💥If Ken keeps going on foal rescues, he's going to have to buy himself a horse farm with lots of fancy stalls! Good job Ken. These babies need your love and concern. You are a Superman without the cape! ❤️
Poor little baby. I wish she could have stayed with her mom, but she was too sick. I’m surprised she wasn’t picked off by predators. You truly are the horse whisperer. Even the others wanted to join in. I’m grateful that her human contact was with kind hands. She is beautiful.
Thank you so much for reclaiming this poor lonely scared young horse. So wonderful you got her where she was safe and would belong without more stress. XOXO
It is a wonderful rescue, but it hurts my heart hearing her nicker in hopes that her mom is there. Poor little girl. She is beautiful tho. Thanks so much for all you do.
This video really touched my soul…thank you for posting this long version of her rescue. So incredibly amazing to see such empathy, gentleness and loving kindness you both had for this desperate little orphan..and getting to see the whole process was such a moving experience. Realizing that this process repeats itself time and time again every year for these little orphans just increases my love and respect for the people in your circle that truly are doing gods work for these desperate little babies. You all help to restore my faith in humanity..WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIDEO THANK YOU!!❤
Wow. That was thrilling and nerve wracking and gratifying to watch. You all did such a good job rescuing her. Please give us some updates when you can.
Thankyou for rescuing her despite her stubborness! She is quite the fighter.I hope you can find a Mare to take care of her.I really admire the men who spent the time to feed, and calm her.I hope they found a mare to pair her with❤.
You guys worked so hard to rescue that baby. I’m so proud of you and so impressed with the work you do. I know you are going to look after her so well and although she’s very sad at the moment, I know she will be happy in the run. ❤❤❤🙌🏻
Horses are very special to me. You all have big, beautiful, courageous hearts to rescue and save this beautiful filly. You have not just the heart but also the knowledge of exactly what to do to effect a successful rescue. Blessings to all!
Thank God for people like you, who do his work ❤ rescuing in the gentlest of ways the innocent babies in jeopardy. Bless and keep you and his precious angels safe from harm. Prayers are extended to all who are part of the process of rescues.
That filly is gorgeous! Used to make a great team, that took maturity and patience that most people don’t have. A true beautiful moment. So glad she has plenty of equine company. Hope to come and visit you some day, I live in Michigan! ❤🎉😊
What a beautiful wildl foal. Good 👍 thing you guys been watching over the herd. Maybe she could be a star on Heartland Show with Amy. You are doing a lot for her. Thank you 😊
I just had a thought, next time you might want to bring one of those horses along for the rescue! It might be encouraging for the rescue to see another horse in your care, and for emotional support!
@Alberta Wildies It's much safer and easier to lead a foal, if you use a longer rope, and attach the lead rope to the halter like normal, then run the rope behind the foals rear end, and hold both parts of the lead rope in one hand, under their jaw. Then you can pull the foal forward, without putting any pressure on the neck, and causing nerve damage, but you can still steer them with the halter. You just walk beside them, like you would lead a well trained adult horse. One person can do it easily. They can't really bolt, or rear, or flip over backwards, when they are as small as this filly. If you start by just asking for one step forward at a time, and release the pressure on the butt rope after each step forward, within a few minutes, they will lead with the butt rope, even when they have never been handled before. It saves both horse and human a lot of trauma. I think you would like that technique if you try it.
She needed the rest! Poor baby needed people's help; the herd looked like oh good the people are taking away this needy orphan. *Thank you ALL so much for saving her! She wouldn't last long being unable to keep up with her herd. Blessed Be! Such GOOD people, thank you so much! Goedzo beautiful baby! Drink that bottle! Oooh! Her tiny whinney is SO adorable!*
You’ll are just amazing!!! Fern would be a sweet name for that pretty girl or Pebbles since she was found on a road. She so wanted to fit in with that band she was found with. 😢 She’ll do great in your care now that she has someone who will look after her.
Wow, what a little beauty. She has so much drive to survive. Trying to join one band after another. Maybe you could name her Drive? Thank you for all you do for the wild horses and their rejected orphans. So very young ones seem to make it that without your help and advocacy the wild horses could disappear. They deserve to be a part of the ecosystem along with the wolves, bears and moose and deer. I have loved seeing all the wild life from your trail cam movies.
She sure is a pretty girl. She has a cute whiney! ❤ She is lucky she escaped her attacker. Sorry she lost her mom! She now has a new band! I bet she will sleep good tonight! Such a sweetheart 💕 Thank you for the rescue! Would like updates on her! ❤
You walked into a wild herd and rescued a filly! Good job. Obviously, you've done this before. The wildies know you mean them mo harm. Once you showed interest in the baby, they all started looking like..."Well, we did not mean her no harm...let us take another look at her" But, the wild are so wise. They knew her to be sick and instincts tell them to let her be. When she got home, to your place, she did look like...maybe my momma is here. She just kept looking all this time. Kept her alive. Shes a strong girl. One that will grow up and be stronger still. ❤ Please let us know how she gets on. I hope you can keep her, but there may very well be a momma mare that just lost her foul and....who knows? When you got there and one of the band horses came up to look her over...the baby clacking...it broke my heart. She was just on a quest to find her momma all alone in this big world.😢❤❤❤
Thank you for rescuing the filly. I am so glad you’re able to rescue these foals and horses. The filly is absolutely beautiful, I like the way she handles herself…I wish I could be there with you on this rescue, I always wanted to do something like this when I was younger, but now I’m not able to…I’m 75 now and not able to walk very well….oh for the days when I could…I sure miss it….may God bless everyone who has given their love and hearts to this project….👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you wild horse Angels!❤❤❤
