IMPORTANT NOTES:
If you have trouble forming the dough due to it being m sticky, start by adding initially adding the flour first followed by slowly adding the yoghurt, mix slowly & add more flour if needed until you reach a consistency you can work with. Depending on the brand some yoghurts have more or less moisture which can cause it to be sticker.
Once you have formed the dough ball either place it on a lightly floured surface or parchment paper/baking paper before rolling it out to avoid it sticking. (lightly flour your rolling pin too)
Roll the dough out as big & thin as you can but make sure to do it gently & slowly to prevent it from breaking.

@@sauravbasu8805 yup. 2 days in a row.
The dough tasted surprisingly good. Tho don't expect it to get fluffy or the-good-crispy on the edges. At least mine didn't. But that can be also a fault of my old af oven.
As to what is on top of pizza - I went with light mozzarella, rukola, onion and parma ham, because I don't like salami.

If you use regular flour and add baking powder, I recommend about 10g extra of yogurt so it forms an actual dough instead of just crumbling apart
Good to know
Yeah, but that wouldn’t be as healthy that’s why
Bread flour minimum, 00 flour if you love yourself.
@@Pimp231Greek yogurt ?
Baking powder? Don't you mean yeast?
Isn't just the flour like 80 carbs? The macros don't make sense.
It’s like 1 k calories but still good
Even i can make this!! Saturday night meal this weekend!
Just tried this. Here's my take on it: I used turkey pepperoni, 0% mf Greek yogurt, light mozza, regular cheese strings (couldn't find a light version). Didn't come out to the amount of protein you listed. So I substituted 25g of flour for vital wheat gluten. Final tally was 921 kcal for 90g of protein.
A note to anyone making this: it's not going to look as pretty. He clearly used some sort of egg wash to make the crust look more golden. The flavour is pretty good for such a healthy pizza, but it looks more like the pizza on the right lmao
Is it similar size wise or just in terms of looks to the pizza on the right?
Thank you bro
I'm now 300 pounds
If you started at 350 that's still good :)

1st: 2440kcal pizza is roughly 1000g pizza (you are holding some regular 300-400g), 1000g is like 16inch pizza.
2nd: How did you get to those nutritions? flour itself is like 75g of carb per 100g, tomato sauce are some more. Mozarela sticks are 6g of fat per stick, low fat cheese 7,5g of fat, pepperoni additional like 10g of fat. So its closer to 35-40g of fat. It just all doesn't add up, bro.
Never does man. Ive seen so many of these videos claiming a certain caloric count yet I can tell just by looking at them they are very more than said.
These must be aimed at Joe schmo, who doesn't lift and have a deep understanding of nutrition.
Based on his written ingredients and weight I got 832 calories (that's with reduced fat turkey pepperoni) but there is no way the quantities match up to what is in the video, he used way more flour, way more cheese, a little more pepperon,. You can see more than 3 sticks of mozzarella cheese, there's closer to 6 or 7.

This is basically irish soda bread with extra steps.
This is incredible misleading. I did math con calories, being generous towards OP, and he is off. Plus the size shown is no where what you can get with the calories claimed.
The first shot of pizza comparison, flip those and that smaller one is the pizza you will make. You can easily get that size pizza with same calories if you don't have stuff crust

The recipe he gives does NOT make that size pizza. The dough ball will not even come out to half that size! Don’t waist your time like I did going to the store getting everything and calculating your calories for dinner because you will be hungry and highly disappointed.
nutrinional yeast is high protein too, next to the cheese, yoghurt and meat. if you wanted to max out the protein content you could try to mix quinoa, hemp seeds or peanut powder into the sauce. any sort of lentils, beans, peas etc aren´t bad either, but quite a bit lower in protein. Bonus as it´s a little healthier too, but selfmade sauce generally is a good choice, to avoid extra sugar and other additives
I might have to meal prep with this one next week.
That’s not the same pizza. There’s waaay more cheese on the cooked one! There’s also 21 pepperoni slices on the uncooked & 22 on the cooked, just to confirm 😅
it's the exact same pizza... instead of focusing on the bigger parts that can be picked off and eaten when cutting it. Look at the areas of browning. Exact same.

Nice
So you have never seen a pizza
A pizza that is baked for 20 minutes is not a pizza 😂 a real pizza goes from fresh, to made, in 3 to 4 minutes in a pizza oven
Made it Yesterday, ended up a bit burned in the air fryer but was still good. Living in Europe made it that i had to change a bit to more cream cheese due to our different flour. And pepperonies are hard to find..
Anyway thanks for the recipe.
Lol "only two ingredients: flour and yogurt. Oh yea and nutritional yeast..."
it says the nutritional yeast and italian seasoning is optional :) its just for cheesy flavor, not necessary to make the dough rise like baker's yeast would be
Yeah I see people do that often
3 ingredient no bake brownies. precedes to use 5 ingredients and bakes it.
Alternatively make a regular yeasted pizza dough/buy it at the store and slap on the same ingredients and just dip in in extra low fat yoghurt… same macros 10x better flavour and texture
Your suggestions are not what the doctor ordered. Never trust a gym instructor for your nutrition. See a qualified professional. Speaking from experience!
I doubled the recipe for the dough, and added a few of my own extras, anyways was barely enough to make two pizza bases so you would need at least 4x the dough recipe to feed a family. So my wife and kids got some pizza I made myself a sandwich.
And did you secretly add protein powder to the dough for the protein???
Scam......
UA-cam is full of nonsense these days, it's a pizza mate just because you made it with low-fat ingredients doesn't make it healthy. Fat is good for you and carbs are what make you fat. Low fat is only beneficial in the sense that a lot of calories are in the fats.
This is not healthy..... I would substitute the dough... U won't lose fat.
Amazing
can't you like reduce even more if u remove the cheese in the crust
That dough looks awful. Thing got violated as soon as he put yogurt in it. Hopefully no Italians see this 👀
I’m not sure how this gets close to 81g protein. Looks great though
yogurt has protein, cheese has protein, lean slices of pepperoni has protein. Normal Pizza has around 80g protein, just double the calories.

Thank you! I just showed my wife how pathetic small the dough was compared to his and I even doubled after and it was STILL smaller than what he came out with in the end, he had to have used three times the amount for this end result pizza hes full of shit!
Cartoon ahhh pizza
The baked one has MUCH more cheese on it than the unbaked one.
Dont worry bro you deserve better
You lost me at light mozzarella and low fat cheese……..
That little pizza definitely isn't 2,440 calories
Where does the 81g protein come from?? From 35 g pepperoni or 75g cheese or what??? Am i the only one confused??

I normally do this but ngl I’m making this shit. I could eat off this pizza all day with zero calories Mountain Dew and still lose weight fast
This looks very good but these macros are not adding up man. I just entered everything you said on MacroFactor and I’m getting 1019 cal with 80g of protein, 30g of fat and 104 g of carbs. This still can fit well into my diet plan though because that’s the total for the entire pizza. Each slice would be 127 cal, 10g protein, 4g fat, 13g carbs. Not bad at all!
This reminds me of when Krusty drank all those shakes without realizing they were supposed to be diet shakes.
That crust looks a bit dense. I guess playing a bit with dough ratios or having it be a bit more hydrated might help
Can you substitute dick cheese for cheese if you’ve run out?

Bro that tiny ass pizza you held up is not 2440 calories.
It's 1000 at best.
Ehhh pizza is always super high in calories. Especially from papa John’s, Pizza Hut, etc
@@callmeghst6542 Still man, your average frozen pizza for one, dinner plate size, is 1000 calories.
That thing is even smaller, I don't actually belive it's possible to cram that many calories into such a small dish unless it is 50% butter.
Yeah it 300 grams max, probably even less. You need it to be almost 100% fat to have so much calories
Right? Pizza dough is just flour and water. A TINY amount of sugar and salt for the yeast to react.
The only thing this recipe did was add MORE calories to what i would normally have by adding yogurt?!
The grease and oils from regular cheese is what kills you not to mention the sodium, one little slice from dominos is like 300 kcals This guys recipe uses fat free cheese and therefore not as much grease if you use different pepperoni as well you’ll save calories, it’s crazy how we don’t think about this stuff when we’re cramming this stuff down our throats 😂😂😂
I didn't see snoop dog
22- 30 minutes in the oven the pepperoni and cheese will be burnt. Partially cook the base with pizza sauce first and then add the cheese and pepperoni.

You gotta knead that dough some more man. Gotta get dough ball smooth and shiny.
Why not add yeast? Not nutritional yeast, yeast for raising the dough. Also i really doubt that is less than 1k calories
it's nowhere near water/flour/yeast + resting, but the self-rising flour + yogurt kind of creates the same reaction without the long resting time.
My pizza came out to be half this size…
definitely edited. Look how much cheese he uses and then see how cheesey it comes out
You don't need yeast because the bacteria in the yogurt replaces the yeast everything else good
This is not 81g protein wtf

That's not pizza. That's looks disgusting. Poor smericans.
Im confused, what is actually making it so much lower calorie? It seems like the only important substitution is the yogurt, im not sure how that results in something larger that has less than half the calories.
Regular dough uses more flour, and more cheese at a higher fat content
Type of cheese, actual pepperoni, and how much pizza sauce. Not including the ingredients/cals to make the dough for an actual pizza

Honestly, I rather reward myself once a month with a whole pie. But I can understand some people just got that craving
So you don't let the dough rise? I'm confused but it does look good.
100g of greek yogurt : 10g protein
3 bars of mozzarella: around 30
75g of low fat cheese: 15
Peperoni : 10
How did you come up with 82??
Unless you put at least 200 g of other meat to that, there ain’t no way that’s 81 g of protein. Greek yogurt about 5 grams, mozzarella sticks and the other cheese 35 at most, now I doubt that the pepperonis have 41 g of protein in them alone
Finally, healthy pizza
80g of protein my ass
800 calories for the whole pizza or 1 slice? 😊
Question about that calorie count is that for the whole pie? Or per serving?
That's now how you use yeast, you gotta wake it up first
My brother just eats a tombstone pepperoni pizza every night and dudes shredded.
is that 883 calories for one slice or for the whole pie?
Can this be a freezer meal? Like make a few and put in the freezer to cook later? I don't eat pizza until at least October, it's just a thing since I was a kid.

more when you add the sause
What is the calorie count?
I’m curious what that dough would taste like, only because I doubt it tastes good
No usual fast food pizza has 2440 calories
It's not that far off. A slice of Papa John's is around 300 calories and you got 8 of them in one pie. If you go for a Neapolitan style Margherita, it's definitely not that much though
