I think COD has really good mechanics as a shooter, but the issue is that COD is turning into Pokemon, they just release the same game over and over again and claim it is all new and going to be different, when really it is just new graphics and skins with new maps

My grandfather loved the first CoD games, playing on PSX. He wasn't a good player, that's true, and sometimes I had to beat levels for him, but he really enjoyed every moment we spent in front of the TV killing nazis and I have incredible memories of both of us enjoying the same hobby. I'm glad he's no longer alive to see the truck full of garbage that this franchise became.

Launcher open, launcher restarts due to playlist update. Launcher open, click game, game needs update, update needs game to restart though it was closed, playlist update after game opens, restart game, open game, accept my invite, i freeze, their game crashes. Accept invite again, crashes. “Very bad language intensifies”. I laugh at his PC master race

This looks like an improvement. Except for the fact their anti-cheat got broken into years ago and the games are still plagued with sweats, hackers, and low skill one tap guns. Like every CoD since 2019. All for what is literally just DLC at this point and not worth $70, not even 60. Legit never going to be worth it. By the time the price falls we're 3 games down the line, game is abandoned and the hackers fully take over like every CoD in history. Such a meme franchise, why do people think this is good?
