    Thank you for this lovely pattern. I'm not new to knitting but I seem to be having a problem in the adding a stitch area. I keep coming up with a hole where it looks joined but almost like I dropped a stitch. What could I be doing wrong? I've looked over your video multiple times and I do the increase after each time I flip the marker. Was I supposed to increase one row and knit the next one to keep the little hole out of the blanket? I appreciate your help. I have 3 blankets to mske asap. Thanks

  • @paullehman301
    @paullehman301 5 років тому +1

    Hello Nancy. I am going to be trying this blanket later on. I haven't worked increases for mitered squares before (usually I've done the decrease). Usually on the decrease patterns, it'll have you knit the wrong row. Will that work with this pattern as well?

    • @nobleknits
      @nobleknits  5 років тому

      Hi Paul, This is a really easy pattern. After the setup row, every row is the same. Rather than doing an increase every other row (as on the projects you've made), every row is the same so there is no right or wrong side. Give it a try and you'll learn how to do a Make 1 increase!😀

    • @nobleknits
      @nobleknits  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Lori, Rather than counting the number of stitches on the needle for an adult blanket, I would measure one of the sides (not on the needles) of the blanket. Decide how big you want the square to be and when it reaches that length, you'll know it's time to bind off. My blanket measures 23.5" square without blocking. 😀

      Hi Mary, after about 20 rows, did you hold your needles at a 90-degree angle so you could see how the square looks? It doesn't look like it's doing anything while the stitches are on the needle but if you knit to the center and then put your needles at an angle, you'll be able to see that things are knitting up beautifully.
