Great stuff mate. Really good and detailed advice. I always thought mounting stuff on the sides was illegal... don't know why I thought that though 🙄. Cheers 🍻
Probably depends on how far it protrudes mate and if there are any leading sharp edges. Like bullbar mounted rod holders protruding forward are a topic of discussion. My front scrub bars and ADR compliant side mirrors stick out further 🤷🏼♂️ I’ve had no problems as yet mate. Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to watch the videos 👌🏽
Excellent video, very clear and helpful, I like the format of narrating the video. I haven’t seen other vids on installing the Maxtraxx table but can’t see how you could make it any better 👍

The Max Trax is the best! We installed a solid rubber spacer on our one, but not before the Troopy was scratched 🤙. Where do you live? That view looks amazing

Great video mate - wondering if it can be mounted more forward in the troopy to leave the vent exposed? Or does it specifically fit that far back?

Hi mate, I just used recommendation’s from an installer. As I planned to have it sit under my gullwing. It is annoying that it sits across my vent tbh. The mission 4x4 table sits over the top of it which is a great idea if you have looked into their version. I have seen them mounted a bit further forward. As long as all the flat parts of the mounts for the table sat flush with your car I don’t think it would be a problem. I just wouldn’t push the boundaries for angles with the brackets in case they try and distort your body work. Check out those mission 4x4 ones though if you haven’t already 👍🏼 hope this helps mate. Great video mate. Does the table sit flush against (or close to) the vent when upright? Wondering it will foul on the vent fitting for hoses/power I have.

Thanks mate, it is quite close. Less than 10mm at the top and and maybe a bit over 10mm at the bottom. I wasn’t too concerned as I have opted to to have the utility panel on the opposite side. If you want me to flick you some photos etc dm me on Instagram @hook__in and I’ll pass them through 👍

Nice install by yourself but what a shame the quality control of the product have missed a few problems
Thanks mate, I haven’t really done many LV modifications before so it’s been fun getting my head around them and having a go. Yeah, I spoke to the quick pitch supplier about it and they are aware, it was just a batch of them. Hopefully the issue should be sorted now, unfortunately I ended up with one of the items with problems. Mostly overcome though 👍
