As I recall, you put void upgrades on the nuggets in your Create Farm to make sure that they don't clog the system. While this will stop it from clogging the system, it also means that part of the factory is constantly running, because it's never showing as 'full' in the drawers that it is immediately depositing into. My suggestion for that, if I am right on what's causing the cobble and andesite to go missing, would be to set up an AND switch. If all of the nugget drawers are above a certain threshold at the same time, it can toggle off that part of the factory, so it will only run when one of the drawers is actually empty.
I love the idea of putting some "Art Deco" on the flat lawn in the technological park, to make it more "Techie", and to see you do some public sculptures
On your previous video, 12:17 has an inefficient crafting setup. You had it fixed for the remake at 16:02. I think that's what they were referring to. If you leave the drawers unlocked, then items will automatically go into them, and it won't interfere with the final system since if you drop something in accidently you can just pull it out and it won't save the slot. Though it can be useful to have it not do so just so that you see the items move before they go in. If you use fans instead of belts to push your items that are getting washed, you can get more in at once, and the rate is still adjustable by changing the number of items per stack output. That lets you wash more than 2 stacks of items in a 1-2 space.
The AE2 building, being the most orderly out of the buildings, could probably do with some well-kept hedge walls. Some other commentors also put out the idea of flower rows, and I think that could do well too-tulips would have a lot of the colors to match the building itself.
Maybe you can do strips of grass and green concrete powder around the main storage grounds? Maybe a small modern looking pool and seating arrangments. Like a NYC plaza in between big skyscrapers
IF you are going to move to a new area, I recommend that search for a savanna and build a mining town. It will be fUN (AND PAIN) but anyway. I would like to see more amaizing content from you soon!
31:27 For the main storage building. You should add support beams coming down, maybe they light up as well? And for the floor area. Maybr like a marble courtyard with a fountain or something that matches that white colour. Then you can have like a small and angular garden that would match the straight and controlled style of the rest of the building.
For the back of the hotel, there is a real hotel called the "West Baden Springs" in French Lick, Indiana. There is a nice courtyard and the actual sulfur springs that the hotel was built around in 1902. While you don't have the huge dome, it does give me those vibes. Maybe you can gain a little inspiration.
You know some places just have names that are boring and overdone. However, occasionally you find out a community got together and collectively decided to name themselves French Lick and you just have to know more. Edit I'm saddened to say that it wasn't a dig at the French they were originally a French trading outpost that major export was animal salt
For the hotel you can do like an open park with benches to sit on, maybe a picnic area and a kiosk to sell drinks, a dog park, and/or similar things, thats my idea🙌🏾
For the storage building, I think about a downtown area with tiled pavement, a fountain, maybe some abstract art. If there is still grass left over it could be maybe a little outdoor gardeny bit.
Love it! What about a water feature or statue in the storage building grounds? It feels very clean and modern so maybe that would help make the terrain look a little bit more interesting without distracting from the overall aesthetic?
For the grounds of the storage building, maybe make hedges following the shape of the storage building with the occasional small statue in the middle like a hedge maze
You may want to add a craft or recipe for turning azalea bush's into dead bush's. Maybe bush + heat = dead bush? It could allow you to more easily meet your quota, and also keep things interesting and thematic.
Hey foxy you should make the infinite wand and when you get a chance build the archiology site and museum when you are in the primorial caves and you should add the alex's caves addon plz love your videos ❤❤❤❤
I think that putting some bushes made from leaves around the buildings would make things look a little more full! You could even add sidewalks that have pots for the plenty of trees you have!
For the main storage system, I would recommend looking at what big companies like Apple and Google do for the areas around their HQs, because thats the vibe i get from that building, its like your HQ
I think a landscaped sort of garden would be nice around the storage building, raised flower beds, sculpted bushes/trees etc keep it clean and neat like it gets maintained every week
Storage building is the only real futuristic build in the whole area. It makes sense for the landscape to be as well. Modern art sculptures and water fountains. Neon lit walkways and perfect hedges all surrounded by high security fences and pillager gate guards. Sneak in a few imperfections like a dandelion in a small but noticeable area. A cracked walkway block here and there for character.
Traffic cones are designed to be highly visible and easily movable. Various sizes are used, commonly ranging from around 30 cm to a little over 1 m. Traffic cones come in many different colors, with orange, yellow and red being the most common colors due to their brightness. Nowhere does it say that they can be used as hats.
Cause of how luxurious the hotel is, you could add a fancy swimming area in the back and have it with a golf course around it. For the storage area ground, you can use mossy blocks to create a nice clean uniform line yard to match the nice clean uniformed straight edge building that the yard belongs to, along with some nice clean hedges that can be custom shaped with the framed blocks. I use these tactics in my own worlds, just without any mods, data packs, or texture packs and they look awesome, so hopefully you think so too.
For the greenway around the storage area, how about a modern office courtyard-style lunch area? Smooth stone ground, cement/stone tables and benches, and just a few large planter boxes with an azalea tree for shade and a small splash of color. Maybe some border hedges with azalea and flowering azalea leaves, but nothing too busy so it still has that relatively soulless office space feeling and doesn't conflict with the storage building as a main feature of the plot.
About the blaze idea the crushing recipe should give 1 blaze rod 2 iron ingots(ingots so you have to flatten them again) and 2 netherack basically iron would get mixed into the netherack as small dust, it would make the blaze crushing not completely profit
Your main storage building for the grass you should make it like a posh lawn with the stripes of grass. Like football pitches where they have lighter and darker stripes. This should fit with the clean build and edges
I'm not exactly sure if it would make a difference, but in my testing, using pumps to drizzle lava directly onto flowing water creates cobblestone a lot faster than the normal method, and you only need one bucket of lava for as many pumps as you need, meaning one bucket in a tank can make you run at least ten pumps or more. Putting drills in maximum speed and only needing 1 RPM for the pumps, you get cobblestone ridiculously quickly.
If your looking for a good use for the diamonds, you should build an armor trim factory that can produce every armor trim. Maybe do it in a way where you could select which armor trim you want and it crafts it. I dont think it would be too difficult, though the hardest part would be getting one of every armor trim.
For the storage building’s grounds, you could take a que from Mr. Beardstone’s vanilla world’s city grounds and have alternating rows of green on the grass and nicely cut trees.
I think you can give alittle more visual interest to the storage AE2 building grounds by making the grass a cross-stitch pattern you might see in large freshly mowed grass, where the grass is swept one way on a square, then a different way on the next, and so on. Making a checkerboard or lined look
31:45 you asked for ideas for the grass. A thing I remember seeing in the landscapes of fancy buildings, or even wealthy peoples houses landscape, is very faint stripes in the grass. I dont know exactly how you would do it but all it would take is finding a grass texture that is slightly darker or lighter than the biome your in.
You can speed up washers/cookers etc by adding more fans. You can blow on the ingredient from 6 directions and that does speed it up. Depending what the ingredient is sitting on, it might also be overlapping 2 vertical blocks, so up to 8 fans blowing on it. I think if you set up a 6-8 blower conveyor belt with funnels doing a stack at a time, then it should dramatically speed up that step. There's also a faster cobble gen design available that uses contraption block placement to destroy cobblestone instead of drilling, you can get entire stacks at per cycle of action
For the back of the hotel, you could make a patio cafe type area with tables or a swimming pool area with some sitting areas with umbrellas maybe? If you can figure out how to make that work with the frames blocks.
i think the storage system should be palved over for the grass apart from a small portion and it should have water features and weird modern art statues and stuff like that fits the high tech clean feel
It would be so cool to see you redesign your old automatic farms with the experience and extra mods you have. Someone commented the strips of moss and grass for the hotel which would look great, and you could put some bushes and flower patches like the US’s White House
Great videos man, love the insanely complicated processes, massive builds, and huge projects. I have a small suggestion for your custom mod, the ability to automate gunpowder production. I know creeper farms exist, but those require a player.
For the storage area you should make some trees out of AE 2 stuff to make like futuristic looking trees. It would fit the theme and add some life to the building. I think some trees flashing colors and stuff would look cool for the area.
with your storage system you could put futuristic plants, reflective surfaces, sculptures and art installations, water features, outdoor seating areas, lighting design, high-tech materials, Interactive Installations, vertical gardens, geometric design elements.
How about a statue that represent the hard driving worker which makes the city stay up on track, especially the "incredible" eagle! OR..... the eagle sitting on a branch duing nothing xD
You mentioned something being too far away to render, which reminds me: if you're using an Nvidia GPU, you could use the Nvidium mod, which is not only a more optimized renderer than Sodium (which it requires), but can also let you render things at extreme ranges with little or no performance hit; I'm talking literally thousands of blocks away. It *IS* a Fabric mod, but with Sinytra Connector it can run under Forge with Embeddium. It will require a couple of config file changes (one so it knows Embeddium is Sodium, and another to remove the Sodium version number requirements), but there's a post on the r/allthemods subreddit that has instructions; I can send the link to the post if you want.
Fun fact: EMI (the jei replacement that you are using) has a cool function called crafting tree which is a easier way of doing your factory diagrams (if it doesn't work with create then I am sorry for misleading info)
Hey foxy I wanted to say I think that how elaborate and fun your diamond production is it's a waste to have it produce coal to make the diamonds I say instead of making cold pieces take the opportunity to make a plant fossil block set I'm a pixel artist that I would be more than happy to provide textures for that And then have your plant fossil block compressed to diamond the same way that the coal block would have
I think the diamond farm would make coal nuggets instead of full coal, but ig its fine. I think making some kind of buffer system would be cool that has max priority and keeps about 2k of reach item you need a lot that would be accessed by some other means (or have ae2 just stop sending stuff if you only have the buffer amount), and if items of that type are needed for the ae2 system it would send them over if theres extra.
Could you possibly provide us with a world download once the diamond factory is finished? If you _do_ happen to decide to make a world download, I'd appreciate it if you put your tools, armor, and curio items into a chest where the others spawn.

For the storage building, add strips of moss across the whole length to make it look like it has been freshly mown
