Baba Yetu = Religious Victory Terra Nova = Cultural Victory Sogno di Volare = Scientific Victory Live Gloriously = Domination Victory. Equal parts violent, mournful, and triumphant.
Terra Nova is more like about progress. thus, it's about the production. but they don't have production victory of course. if there is one, China is winning hard today. it's like 50% of the world's products, manufactured in China there.
Domination? Not at all! This song is about working hard to immortalise your name, to leave a footprint on the world. This is as just much cultural, religious and scientific in there. Does this not apply to the ancient Sumerians who gave us writing and law? And the Jewish people whose religious mythology has shaped two other great world religions? And the Greeks, whose culture we can not ignore when we talk about philosophy and politics? They have all struggled in their time and so cemented their place in the history books. There is only violence in there if your mind takes you to that place.

I've seen several comments saying that Christopher Tin should be a great musician in Civilization VII, and I agree, because it's unbelievable how he never disappoints!
I love how this theme is switching to multiple languages from different civilizations as the song progresses, aligned with the new concept of the game in which you can switch to other civilizations as you progress through a new era.
Each of these Civ themes is very special to me. Baba Yetu painted an image of the early tribes of humanity, singing plaintively of hope for the future. Sogno di Volare conjured a scene with an early Renaissance scientist, like da Vinci, calling forth the age of reason and progress. This theme seems like a sequel, and warns of the duality of war, both glorious and terrible. I'm grateful to Christopher Tin and his team for creating these evocative musical masterworks.
The chills I got when I recognized the quotes from the Popol Vuh...what an awesome song. This is the first time for me hearing Mayan be used in a game's theme!
I'm so hyped for the game man. I've listened to the theme on repeat. The lyrics from Iliad, Beowulf, Popol Vuh and Ramayana in different languages gave chills! It's trying to convey the intended feel of the game: yes, there will be an end to my Civ and it will be replaced by something else but I will make sure to leave a mark!
need the arabic and chinese version to make it truly old. no need old English to be honest since it's fairly new. but sanskrit, greek, latin, Chinese(old ver), Arabic(old ver) are all old languages.

I did not think the Civilization music team could top Civ 6, from its main theme to the themes of esch civilization, but you guys once again prove me wrong once more. The anticipation for this theme was very big, as the previous works in Baba Yetu and Sogno di Volare left the bar very high. Love it again and i can think of having it in the background running without getting tired of it or even pick it up to hear it alone. Another wonderful theme by master Tin
Usually they only play the main theme while you're in the menu, but I wouldn't mind this theme getting slotted into the rotation of tracks that play in-game.
I feel like each theme song from Christopher Tin just gets better and better. Love them all. And multilingual march was such a cool idea since it embodies domination victory for civ so well.

I feel like this one brings a much different perspective with the struggle and pain humanity has faced through history getting us to where we are today. You’re so right about it carrying more weight even if the Civ6 theme is a little more upbeat and fun
Definitely some momento mori vibes to this theme - and the use of language highlights this. Also really enjoy how Tin uses new ideas in combination with old ideas towards the end of the piece to keep our ears wanting a little bit more, without making it feel like it comes out of the blue.

I loved the theme when it was first revealed with the amazing teaser trailer. I had absolute goose bumps back then and I am so happy it's the main theme!
My absolute favorite thing about Christopher Tin, is he gets the base philosophy behind the civ games, and makes you FEEL it. Which is that despite the memes, the jokes and all the irony, there is something genuinely profound and poignant about building your civilization and trying to guide it through the world and through the different ages. I hope the gameplay can reflect that this time.

I didn't notice and wasnt expecting lyric switching from Greek to Old English to Maya to Sanskrit throughout this theme. It fits the concept of the game very well and the theme itself is glorious, but I didn't expected less from Maestro Tin.
