My ever 1st movie that I watched for the 1st time....and still this masterpiece is very much close to me. Imagine this was made in 1993 almost 30 years ago, still no such movie has been made. It takes you away that you are there by personal. It is one of my all time favorite movie. Specially I love the location. From this movie Steven Spielberg is my one of favorite directors.
Every bit of this movie oozes class and pure long forgotten Hollywood magic: the cinematography, the music, the direction, the use of conventional special effects, the use of animatronics and performances of the cast in general. What an amazing piece of cinema history!
The expression on Alan Grant's face the first time he see a dino, the water in the glass, the sound of silence. Everything about this film was, is and will remain a masterpiece.
Jurassic Park itself is the best among all the Jurassic Park movies.... It's a timeless cult classic ...when I first saw it back in 2009 , the first trex scene was really scary.
Same as me. I remember my dad took me and my twins brothers to the movie theater watched this when I was 8 and my brothers were 7. Good memories of the 90s look back on my childhood.
Absolutely. The new JP films keep straining and straining, almost haemorraghing themselves to manage it, without realising the moment has gone. Let the franchise be, for pity's sake. Should have ended after two (or three, if well done) films.
30 years ago Jurassic park changed film making forever. It was 3 years after Crichton published the first book and Spielberg did a fantastic directing it and the sequel thanks to Crichton who wrote the second book 1995 when I was a little baby . Jurassic park will always be my childhood dinosaur movie.
It was great because of the story and characters. The scenes were memorable because we had attatchment to the characters. The long, tense scene in these clips is amazing because of the characters (and how well the actors portrayed them). At the core, every scene in Jurassic Park is engaging no matter if there is a dinosaur in it or not. The sequels have all just been dinosaurs with token human characters, with no substance, thrown in.
Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the greatest films ...ever! Unbelievable wow factor, tension, edge of seat and directed by a top five of all time director.
Felt these magic feelings watching it first and always cried at the scene seeing dinsouries for the first time. After 15 years, I still feel the same and cry, so freaking beautiful✨
Even after all these years, just watching Dr. Grant’s reaction to first seeing a sauropod with emotional music rising in the background. Serious goosebumps. So much nostalgia. Holding back tears for the good old days of storytelling and moviemaking.
The magic of this movie never wanes. There should be a neurological reason to it. Even though we have all seen dino movies over and over and over, the cinematography gives enough breathing space, focuses long enough on the actors faces, who themselves are so good in their performance, so beautifully, that we feel the wonder again and again through their experience. The shots in those first scenes are simply brilliant, showing the dinosaur from the feet up through towards the sky, conveying it's sheer size, in broad clear daylight. Not even a single shot of that type exists in the new trilogy. There is simply no breathing space, no time to pause, we have got no time to feel anything for more than a moment. What a waste!
Modern cinema is, by and large, one huge waste. Just as we've lost the musical nous of the 80s, we've lost the cinematic nous of the 90s. Those two decades ruled, in their respective media.
Car Rain Chillness Dark Dianosour Closed park What a thrilling scene... When I was 6 years old i scared and closed my eyes to watch these scenes.. now am 31 still it's scary one..
Would've opened sure. It was doomed from the start. If not Nedry it'd be someone/something else. Malcolm says this in the movie. They can't control life. There was also breeding going on prior to the power outage as dinos already escaped their paddocks. Grant found eggs in the movie. JW failed for the same reason. Wu is not a God he was careless and blind to it. Hammond and him were arrogant.

"That's an interesting assertion... but why would that be the case? Dinosaurs would most probably eat you, crush you to death if they felt threatened, or simply not mind your presence, much like most reptiles nowadays."

One of the best film in my lifetime since I was 9 yrs everything means everything was special about this movie and for days I had this in my mind that dinosaur are alive and dangerous
They've started using the Terminator logic in Jurassic movies I guess....the bad guy in the first movie has become the good guy in the sequels...only the T-800 has been replaced by a T-Rex!!
I was 5 years old my crush my all time favorite lucky to have jurassic park my childhood movie fell in love with dinosaurs from that time now only memories
The terror that this movie created in India in the 90s!!! Woww! We as kids had nightmares after watching this movie. The movie was discussed by everyone at least for a few years. Surely the best ever in this segment
You all ask “why is Jurassic Park still the best in the franchise?” The answer is simple: It was groundbreaking, the other ones weren’t. It wasn’t their fault, no other movie in the franchise can deliver the same effect as the original. Sure, like other movies before it, Jurassic Park was based on an exciting new premise which not only felt possible but also tickled deeper ethical debate, like other movies it had a brilliant director with a knack for suspense and cinematography, like other movies before it, it had the perfect balance of thrills, humor, horror and cute family moments, like other movies it had clever dialogue, good actors, beautiful musical score, but what really made it groundbreaking was that all this was compounded by a new kind of special effects, at least up to that time. People in theatres saw the dinosaurs in realistic, never-before-seen CGI. No stop-motion clay models or men in godzilla suits. When the brachiosaurus lumbered across the screen we felt the same amount of awe as the characters onscreen witnessing a real-life dinosaur. When grown men watched the Rex stomping towards Lex’s flashlight they gripped their armrests. And when adults saw two raptors slink in through the kitchen door they had nightmares for weeks.
It’s not just that. There’s an over reliance on CGI effects over practical effects now also to try cut back on costs of production. The difference is stark with older classics like JP1, Jaws and other movies. Less can be more. Most movies in the modern day/sequels forget this and got too big and too flashy.
All the tactile sounds, lines and scenes from this movie really shaped how I played as a child. I always was re-enacting scenes from this movie, emulating the sounds. Even to this day it still affects me the same way
That sequence of the T-Rex breaking out of the fence is one of the greatest special effects sequences ever shot.

3:39 Imagine watching it for the first time in 90s
Epic... No Jurassic Park movie or any other dinosaur movie can come close to this movie.
Don’t have to imagine. Just remember.
@@sweetcinnamonpnchkin yeah lol
What a movi legendery movi of hollywood ❤❤❤❤❤
Anyone watching in 2025.....
Watching this as a kid the graphics looked realistic at the time. Great memories from the 90's
Same as me. I remember my dad took me and my twins brothers to the movie theater watched this when I was 8 and my brothers were 7. Good memories of the 90s look back on my childhood.
The old "CG" seems better than today's new "CGI" IMO.
The old looks more realistic. The new looks fake I don’t understand how people like it.

All it takes is good writing
Real jurasic park movie, after this movie all dinosaur movies are experiments with original content. I still want to see this movie in theater.

I m 31 years..still watching this scene with the same excitement when I was 10 years old.😮😮
This movie has stood the test of time and no other dinosaur film has or probably ever will come close to this.
My childhood memory 👌almost 30 years have passed a beautifull movie👌
That vibration in water .. runs through your spine .. epic scene
I want to rewatch all the Jurassic Park movies.
“ welcome to Jurassic park “ gave me the chills 😭😭😭

People say the roar of Godzilla is the most iconic roar.
For me, the roar of the T-Rex in this film is THE roar.

Park > Lost world > Park 3 > World > Fallen Kingdom > Dominion. Nothing surprising.
Yeah, n the best sequel is Jurassic park 1, park 3 n jurassic world
The worst is dominion, seriously
90's movies = Nostalgia
one of my favorite films i have ever watched. They were the masters of earth on their period.
Amazing movie it's my always dream to be in Jurassic park movies hope I'll be in Jurassic movies soon
Best Jurrasic Movies are born in 90s
Damn it you guys can't stop crying about today's movies even for 1 day
I'd give anything to see/hear the audiences reactions to this movie for the first time.
Unlike Hammond Spielberg spared no expense making this movie. Over 30 years later and it still holds up
Back in the 90's... I was only 4 year old back in 1996 yes I was toddler I remember watching this movie with my family.. what good old days ❤
No one beat this movie....
It's a brilliant work. Nostalgia of childhood.
كلش احب هذا الفلم الاجنبي واني هوايه شايفته تحياتي لكم جميعا
Yeah it's been almost 30 year's of Jurassic Park & this movie still gives me the goosebumps all over 🤯💫
Felt these magic feelings watching it first and always cried at the scene seeing dinsouries for the first time. After 15 years, I still feel the same and cry, so freaking beautiful✨
This look more organic and natural compared with nowadays CG filled storytelling ...who all are agreeing ?
Avatar can give JP a solid run, I think lol love both movies lol
This movie and predator can never be replicated. No modern film comes close.
Any watching 2025..
Hi bro
The first is Definitely Classic and the Best
My childhood memory 💙My first Hollywood love ❤
Even after all these years, just watching Dr. Grant’s reaction to first seeing a sauropod with emotional music rising in the background. Serious goosebumps. So much nostalgia. Holding back tears for the good old days of storytelling and moviemaking.
This movie was mother of all other sci-fi movies…this experience you never get in today’s movie.
School days great experience with friends watching this great movie.. OLD IS GOLD... 🎉
I feel like I've seen the movie way too many times to enjoy this...

What a thrilling scene...
When I was 6 years old i scared and closed my eyes to watch these scenes.. now am 31 still it's scary one..

The funny thing is, this theme park would've been a success if one guy had not turn off the power to the whole island!

Master piece movie ❤❤❤

"That's an interesting assertion... but why would that be the case? Dinosaurs would most probably eat you, crush you to death if they felt threatened, or simply not mind your presence, much like most reptiles nowadays."
Yes Ma'am 😍 Jurassic Park Amazing Movie Satisfying!!! Question do You remember what happened the funny restroom scene where the mean old weenie lawyer guy who left the poor kids he's trying Soo hard to hide 😥 sitting on the toilet lol 🤭 remember what happened to him?

One of the best film in my lifetime since I was 9 yrs everything means everything was special about this movie and for days I had this in my mind that dinosaur are alive and dangerous
Watched this legendary film when I was 4, now I am 23, Still enjoying the same, as I did nearly 20 years ago ❤
Damn 30 years!!!! Still amazed me
I was born in 85 and I feel like an 8 year old kid again every time I watch Jurassic Park.
They've started using the Terminator logic in Jurassic movies I guess....the bad guy in the first movie has become the good guy in the sequels...only the T-800 has been replaced by a T-Rex!!
😂😂😂
I was 5 years old my crush my all time favorite lucky to have jurassic park my childhood movie fell in love with dinosaurs from that time now only memories
30 ans ! 1993-2023 que le temps passe vite...
Sure, like other movies before it, Jurassic Park was based on an exciting new premise which not only felt possible but also tickled deeper ethical debate,
like other movies it had a brilliant director with a knack for suspense and cinematography,
like other movies before it, it had the perfect balance of thrills, humor, horror and cute family moments,
like other movies it had clever dialogue,
good actors,
beautiful musical score,
but what really made it groundbreaking was that all this was compounded by a new kind of special effects, at least up to that time. And when adults saw two raptors slink in through the kitchen door they had nightmares for weeks.
facts
It’s not just that. There’s an over reliance on CGI effects over practical effects now also to try cut back on costs of production. The difference is stark with older classics like JP1, Jaws and other movies.
Less can be more. Most movies in the modern day/sequels forget this and got too big and too flashy.
All the tactile sounds, lines and scenes from this movie really shaped how I played as a child. I always was re-enacting scenes from this movie, emulating the sounds. Even to this day it still affects me the same way
