This is a great series. I have been struggling with the other ways of doing a drone from the ground up, such as Pxhawk and SpeedyBee. My problem is that I have not been able to find enough documentation on those platforms to trouble shoot them. I am very grateful for the time and detail you have invested in this series. I am thinking about using it with a motivated high school student this summer.
I can tell you have a great deal of confidence in your built because you are flying over water. : )
My flights will be over ground.
My only comment is to use caution when testing a motor with a propeller attached.
    Thanks

A great well-explained series! Thank you. Could you do a new one about fixed wing vehicules ? starting from electronics to building a flight controller and performing flight tests ?

    What should I do?
When I connect everything and turn the throttle up, the motor only vibrates instead of rotating, Sometime it does rotate, but it feels random.
