Hope this helps to some people. *From past previous update at the end of S5, some people game became unplayable, I was in that predicament as well, from running everything in Ultra/High settings @ 2k getting avg 145~180fps+ in MP* The game became absolutely unplayable and even with all settings turned to low, was literally loosing fate cause I know it isn't my PC Specs, this what fixed my problem. - Go to Audio Settings > Turn Voice Chat Audio to "Party Only", went from unplayable 50~60fps and stutters, back to 160+fps. (Also limit your FPS in Graphics Settings for example if your rig can handle higher than 140+ fps, limit the frames to 100~110 to keep your GPU/CPU TIME stable so u don't get stutter or micro-lag from the timing jumping all over the place.) - I have a 4Core/8Thread CPU and this my worker render count settings. // Thread count for handling the job queue RendererWorkerCount:0.0 = "8" // -1 to 16 // Set a target fraction of your PC's video memory to be used by the game VideoMemoryScale:0.0 = "1.000000" // 0.000000 to 2.000000 I also erased the "Call of Duty" File from Documents and let the game remake the file and install shaders again from scratch. **Another important thing, make sure your game is installed in your SSD or NvME, this will fix a lot of stutter/lag as well.** - Please let me know if this worked for you. Finally got around to doing my settings. Went up 8 fps so finally broke 300 (304fps)!! Still running an old gpu driver. Do you recommend me updating that?
on a high spec PC so far most settings ingame has little to no effect on FPS or latency, gonna test each of these config settings also once im done with ingame but ofc i have to relaunch everytime to test these
I haven’t tested that CPU myself, but based on similar CPUs, the renderworkercount should be the same as the number of performance cores that your cpu has (8 in your case)
For actual monitor settings, I just have everything on default I believe except for “Response Time” is set to “Super Fast”. @hardwareunboxed did a really good video about the S2721DGF a while ago that could give you some more in-depth settings and info! Hope that helps!
Thank you so much man this was the most helpful video for this problem i have watched so many and they never worked i was always getting shit fps with the same graphics card as you but now its amazing way over 200 fps always and the game looks amazing thank you so much
Thanks again for this video, these settings are helping alot, I am running a 5800X3D with a 3080 10GB in 1440p, I am running this game with 192 fps average, 154 fps low 5th and 141 fps low 1st.
Picked up 17fps with this tutorial (215fps to 232fps): 13th gen i7-13000k, RTX 4080, 64gb DDR4 3600mhz Vengeance RAM. Game looks smooth, too. I didn't do anything with the config file.
All these settings help for sure, but after doing alot of research here is the shortcut version: '' Overclock your CPU '' warzone 2 / Mw2 are Cpu game bound.
Unfortunately, overclocking your CPU can only go so far (usually only 5-10%). From my experience, RAM speed/latency is way more important. Of course, both of those are only true for those that are cpu bound (which is most people in Warzone)
heyy Brandon. BTW thanks for the vid. I just changed my settings as you did.. But, I have 2 files in the both names u mentions(options.3.cod22 and options.3.codhq). I only did the changes to the cod22 file. And now I cannot search a game it says connect to internet even though im inside the game using net... Do you have any solutions? Should i change both files as same?
That’s interesting! I’ve never seen someone have both unless you have it downloaded on both Steam and Battlenet. The config file shouldn’t cause any connection issues at all (at least I wouldn’t think since it’s just the text file the graphics settings use). It shouldn’t hurt anything to change both, but if you’re still having an issue try deleting both files and restarting the game. That will reset all your graphics settings back to default and then you should be able to redo the optimized settings on a freshly installed config file. Hope that helps!
i did the all the steps seems to me im the only one with a 0 or negative fps gain.. probably my pc... i have a amd ryzen 5 3600 6 core and amd radeon rx 5600xt with 32 gb or ram at 3000 speed i used to get atleast 90 fps on ashika and vondel and like 80 to 70 fps on that big map new to pc so idk if those specs are dog water straight from the sh*t bowl or what.....well still gave a like and subd thanks
I appreciate still supporting even though you didn’t see any improvement. It seems like you are fairly cpu/ram limited if I had to guess. When you are in game, what is your cpu time and gpu time in the telemetry settings? @isniperu1
I’ve never personally tested that configuration, but I’d assume a value of “2” or “3” would be best. I’d try a few different ones and see which works best for you. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!
If you want to use gsync, change these settings in nvidia control panel: max frame rate to 3 fps under your max refresh rate (162 for 165hz, 141 for 144hz, etc), low latency mode to ultra, and vsync on. Blur busters did a great article showing these are the best settings for when gsync is on.
I have a 49" superwide, what aspect ratio do you think would work best or will the impact be minimal? I get 122 fps average with your settings on an rtx 3080 and an amd ryzen 5900 x and 64gb of ram. Feels like 122 fps is a bit low and have tried everything to boost it.
I’m not super familiar with superwides but I’d imagine it’s just gonna depend on what resolution you’re playing at. Aspect ratio is just how the image is gonna be displayed/stretched on the screen. So if you only want 2560x1440 you’d want to change the aspect ratio to 16:9 and your render resolution to that. At native resolution though, 122 is probably pretty standard if I had to guess.

Quick question on my task manager it says I have 24 cores an 32 processors what shall I put in for renderworkcount??? The game has chosen 16 by default. I have an Intel i9-13900k?
I haven’t tested that CPU myself, so I can’t be 100% sure, but from my experience, a number closer to your performance core number tends to provide more fps. In your case, that would be “8”. I’d try “8” and “10” and see which works best for you. Hope that helps! @pr1ncem1
Normally I don't have much issues when i watch these tutorials but this time when i changed 90% of the stuff all that it did was make screen tearing and colors in the game start freaking out it basically made everything rainbow so if you do change your settings do be careful. I am now reverting everything back to the way it was now. i think ill live running at 80fps.
@@brandonnine I believe so but I’m not gonna mess with my settings again I managed to switch some stuff on my own and now I’m averaging about 140-150 fps not great quality but it works nonetheless Thanks for responding though I do appreciate it.
@sinsawoogamez5859 All good! I was just gonna mention that these settings make your GPU work quite a bit harder by producing more frames, so if your GPU overclock is on the edge of stability (specifically too much memory overclock), that’s when you’ll get those rainbow colors and artifacting. Glad you were able to tweak some stuff to get it to work for you!
Should be great for a 4070ti. Pretty much all of these settings should work great with any other game, except maybe the game mode and hags settings in windows. Those are pretty much a per system setting.
Like I gamin like a a solid 10 fps but for a 3080ti pair with a Ryzen 9 5900x. 100 to 150frames on vondel is kinda low. What do you think I’m doing wrong
What kind of CPU time and GPU time are you seeing while in game? Whichever of those is higher is where you are limited. Once I know that, I can get a better idea of what's going on.
@@brandonnine I get 8 to 9 cpu and 5 gpu I have a 3080ti with a Ryzen 9 5900x. I tried overclocking my cpu today but my screen went black. So had to take the mother board battery out and back in so I can boot up again 🤷🏽♂️
@brandonNINE do you know if these settings will affect moments capture from steelseries? The last time I messed with my settings it wouldn’t auto capture my clips for me
@edgarcousin6847 I can’t see why any of these settings would affect anything to do with SteelSeries Moments Capture, but I haven’t tested it myself, so I can’t be 100% sure. I’d say just make a copy of your config file and not down any settings that you change and if after the fact it doesn’t seem to capture the way you want it to, just revert back to the old settings and replace your config file with the copy of your original settings. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!
Hi bro i have a new 4070ti paired with a ryzen 7 3800x and i believe my cpu is bottle necking is there anything i can do to help with that and what cpu would you recommend where i won't have to change the motherboard
@fiji2foreign the only cpu worth upgrading is the 5800X3D. Just make sure to check your motherboard’s cpu compatibility list on the manufacturer’s website to confirm yours does in fact support it. (You’ll need to do a bios update most likely as well)

Unfortunately everyone’s audio setup is completely different and everyone’s ears are different so it’s hard to give recommendations for audio. I personally run “home theater” as the in-game audio mix and sound equalization in windows settings turned on.
Cinema is my favorite. And if you go into sound settings on your pc settings and go to more sound settings and go to your headset and click loudness equalization it will even out the sounds so you don’t have loud ass guns covering up footsteps
This video helped me a lot. Not gonna lie. BUT! It takes longer to join a game. Or something I have to back out and start again because it goes up to 200ms ping
Did you ever tested the setting in 3D Nvidia Control Panel called "Shader Cache Size" in my settings is set to *100GB* because some people said that it helps with stuttering and crashing, what do you think should I change it back to *Driver Default* ?
Yeah, that setting hasn’t made a difference on any system I’ve tested since like season 2-3. It doesn’t hurt to have that setting on though, as long as you have plenty of space on your ssd/hdd.
Do you have any tips I’m running 40 fps on low settings with a rtx 3060 laptop gpu and a Intel i7 11800h on Warzone but I run 240 on Fortnite. before in season 4 I would run 130 fps in Warzone 2

120fps is about the max for that cpu in Warzone unless you’ve overclocked it and have really fast, low latency RAM. This game is extremely CPU/RAM heavy.

Shader Quality on Low or Med break the thermals (including spotter scope). Only High Shaders make the thermals work as intended.
(Also limit your FPS in Graphics Settings for example if your rig can handle higher than 140+ fps, limit the frames to 100~110 to keep your GPU/CPU TIME stable so u don't get stutter or micro-lag from the timing jumping all over the place.)
- I have a 4Core/8Thread CPU and this my worker render count settings. // Thread count for handling the job queue
RendererWorkerCount:0.0 = "8" // -1 to 16
// Set a target fraction of your PC's video memory to be used by the game
VideoMemoryScale:0.0 = "1.000000" // 0.000000 to 2.000000
I also erased the "Call of Duty" File from Documents and let the game remake the file and install shaders again from scratch.
**Another important thing, make sure your game is installed in your SSD or NvME, this will fix a lot of stutter/lag as well.**
- Please let me know if this worked for you.

Dude, you literally helped me out, with not only warzone, every game and every aspect,my dogwater Alienware laptops optimisation is shit.
I’m glad I could help!
Fire settings didn’t lose fps still pushing 160+ and the game looks clear asfk
GTX 1650 laptop. Does the same Nvidia control panel I created work? Is it useful or not?
This really helped the game feel smoother for me, I can see people much easier now. Subscribed, Thank you!
I appreciate you! Glad I could help!
Finally got around to doing my settings. Went up 8 fps so finally broke 300 (304fps)!! Still running an old gpu driver. Do you recommend me updating that?
That’s awesome!
I haven’t been able to test the latest driver for MW3 on MW2 yet, but if you plan to play MW3, you might need to upgrade.
@@brandonnine just did it. went up another 4fps!! Thanks again man.. Looking forward to your MWIII video!!!!!!!
@@Oops178Let’s go! Love that!
I JUST posted a campaign settings video and I’ll chef up a juicer next week for multiplayer 😈
from 80/90 FPS to 155 FPS. Awesome !
Specs : R5 3600X, RX 580 8GB, 32GB Ram
That’s awesome! Good gains!
why didnt you just make a copy by right clicking the config file in the players folder
on a high spec PC so far most settings ingame has little to no effect on FPS or latency, gonna test each of these config settings also once im done with ingame but ofc i have to relaunch everytime to test these
way better than other guys who dont know whats best for this game
U killing it bto keeep it up i like your work
what is your advice for the raptor 13700k ?
Thanks in advance
I haven’t tested that CPU myself, but based on similar CPUs, the renderworkercount should be the same as the number of performance cores that your cpu has (8 in your case)
i have the same monitor as you, what settings do you use? thanks for the vid!
For actual monitor settings, I just have everything on default I believe except for “Response Time” is set to “Super Fast”. @hardwareunboxed did a really good video about the S2721DGF a while ago that could give you some more in-depth settings and info! Hope that helps!
Thank you so much man this was the most helpful video for this problem i have watched so many and they never worked i was always getting shit fps with the same graphics card as you but now its amazing way over 200 fps always and the game looks amazing thank you so much
That’s awesome! I’m glad I could help!
Well that settings is good for rx6700xt too?
Thanks again for this video, these settings are helping alot, I am running a 5800X3D with a 3080 10GB in 1440p, I am running this game with 192 fps average, 154 fps low 5th and 141 fps low 1st.
You're welcome! Glad I could help!
Picked up 17fps with this tutorial (215fps to 232fps): 13th gen i7-13000k, RTX 4080, 64gb DDR4 3600mhz Vengeance RAM. Game looks smooth, too. I didn't do anything with the config file.
dude you are the best bro u helped me alot my game was shit now its soooo good tyyy
I appreciate the kind words! Glad I could help!
Bro always coming in with the best settings than everyone else
Glad I could help bro!
Thanks for this video ❤
Of course! Glad I could help!
This just funked my game up
What if you have 8p core and 8e core what should the worker count be?
Quality 🙂
Hope that helps!
you got new subscriber, thank you!
@904Mugen I appreciate that! Thank you!
Wow man, of 89 fps to 165 at 210 wow thank you man
Happy to help! Appreciate the support!
Another great video, cheers Brandon
I appreciate you, goat!
Great vid. This helped so much. Thank you!
Of course! Glad I could help!
intel i7 13700kf with e-cores on, best works for me render worker count set on 8 (number of physical p-cores)
I appreciate the feedback! Thank you!
@brandonnine also tried to switch ecores on/off, and setting different worker count. This way mentioned above gave the best performance ;p
Nice! I’m hoping to get a newer 13th/14th Gen cpu soon so I can try this out myself too. Thanks again for the feedback and your time!
i did the all the steps seems to me im the only one with a 0 or negative fps gain.. probably my pc... i have a amd ryzen 5 3600 6 core and amd radeon rx 5600xt with 32 gb or ram at 3000 speed i used to get atleast 90 fps on ashika and vondel and like 80 to 70 fps on that big map new to pc so idk if those specs are dog water straight from the sh*t bowl or what.....well still gave a like and subd thanks
I appreciate still supporting even though you didn’t see any improvement.
It seems like you are fairly cpu/ram limited if I had to guess. When you are in game, what is your cpu time and gpu time in the telemetry settings? @isniperu1
Made my game run awesome! Thank you!
Great to hear! Glad I could help!
Hey i have an i5 7500 Cpu with 4cores and 4threads, should i use RendererWorkerCount 4?
I’ve never personally tested that configuration, but I’d assume a value of “2” or “3” would be best. I’d try a few different ones and see which works best for you. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!
I have it on 3 and i got an overall small boost in fps so it's fine, thanks for the help 😁
Great video,I’m before 100-90fps,right now 120-130
That’s awesome! Glad I could help!
thanks for the video, but if I use fixed refresh the games are all flickering, better activate gsync, is there any other solution (I think not) thanks
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X has 6 cores and 12 threads, so which value I need to use on RendererWorker, 5 or 6?
Should be the same number as you have cores, so “6” should be the best for you! Hope that helps!
I've played a few games and I can notice a massive difference in consistency in fps for the better! Great vid. Got a sub from me!
That’s awesome to hear! I appreciate you! Thank you!
liked and comment to help your video bro.... also when you blow it keep doing what you are currently doing the PRINCIPLE on answering questions! love your videos and will support it by liking and comment!
I appreciate you! Thank you!
@pr1ncem1
What should i put for ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 3070 render worker count and video memory scale?
“6” and “0.80” should work great for you!
@sinsawoogamez5859 do you have your GPU overclocked?
@@brandonnine I believe so but I’m not gonna mess with my settings again I managed to switch some stuff on my own and now I’m averaging about 140-150 fps not great quality but it works nonetheless
Thanks for responding though I do appreciate it.
Thank you man fr.
Of course! Glad I could help!
is this good for 4070Ti ? and is this setting use for only Warzone or not because i us anther games like rust and rainbow
Should be great for a 4070ti. Pretty much all of these settings should work great with any other game, except maybe the game mode and hags settings in windows. Those are pretty much a per system setting.
in i5 12600k the best config in the rendererworker is 6 ? sorry i dont talk enlgish :P thankss
@ankoregamer8471 Yes, “6” should work well for you!
@@brandonnine I get 8 to 9 cpu and 5 gpu
I have a 3080ti with a Ryzen 9 5900x. I tried overclocking my cpu today but my screen went black. So had to take the mother board battery out and back in so I can boot up again 🤷🏽♂️
If you go into task manager, what ram speed does it show in the memory tab?
Best guide
GeForce GTX 1060 , i used this VGA , after updating of SS 6 , i can not play anymore ..pls advise ...if it can still be a selection .
I’m not sure I understand what exactly your question is, but a 1060 should be able to run this game on these settings, as far as I know.
THANK YOU! you have saved me from many migraines
Awesome! Glad I could help!
it Worked !!!! thanks
No problem! Glad I could help!
(You’ll need to do a bios update most likely as well)
Thank you but how come I have packet loss also as weird graphic popping? I have the exact same hardware than you except for a 5800x3D
Any optimiztion for Rtx 2060 Super please ??? I am confused what settings to use❤❤
Pretty much all of these settings should work great with a 2060! @ashiplay
@@brandonnine oh , thank you so much then , and one more small thing , when i turn on dlss , drops and pickupables have a goofy and pixlated white outline can u pls help me fix it ? Thank you so much ❤❤❤
@ashiplay unfortunately from my experience that’s just how dlss looks on those items. :(
another well put together video. Keep it up dude.
Thanks!
this guy knows sometihn
I only went from 150 to 165. Not the boost I was hoping for. But still good settings to have.
Any recommendations on audio settings?
Amazing video thank you! Looking forward to the mw3 version 😎
Working on one now for the beta 😄
I did this with My 3080=90-115fps now with 4090 Strix = 235-250 fps! Insane
Gracias bro saludos desde Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Curious what this will do To my 4060 gaming laptop. Will try it out
Depending on your cpu, you should gain a bit!
AMD rayzen 7 and rtx 4060
was looking for this since forever, thank you
Of course! Glad I could help!
best vid ever frl
Do you have any tips I’m running 40 fps on low settings with a rtx 3060 laptop gpu and a Intel i7 11800h on Warzone but I run 240 on Fortnite. before in season 4 I would run 130 fps in Warzone 2
@trxppybtw9631 When you are in a game, what ms is your cpu time and gpu time?
went from 80 fps to 150 cool fam
i have a 10 gb rtx 3080 and i7 10700k, what fps should i´ve been having on warzone 2? i always lowered settings and i get 120 fps tops! in a range beetween 100-120
120fps is about the max for that cpu in Warzone unless you’ve overclocked it and have really fast, low latency RAM. This game is extremely CPU/RAM heavy.
What’s your ram? Any video for the comparisons showing the +80fps?
Yeah, I have a previous video on my channel showing how much RAM matters in this title.
