Awesome vid...!!! It gets right to the point. I was able to remove the sensor without removing anything else. Finding the sensor was my problem,. Many thanks to you and everyone that contribute on helping with these informative videos.
great video thanks. I had a hard time finding the sensor before i watched this. I did not take the hood latch off and i was able to get at the knock sensor fairly easy, including hand tightening it. overall it took me 30 mins start to finish.
Thanks for the tip appreciate your help and your video and now I'm trying to find a video with the booster sensor for a 2007 RDX I have a boost problem showing on my readout. have any questions I would like to see a video if you have it thank you have a good day bye
You don't have to take the whole bumper off to get that bracket out of the way that holds the overflow container to the radiator. Just take off the top clips of the bumper and you should be able to bring it up enough to get a wrench to those bolts to loosen.
hi I have a 2008 rdx and since I changed my starter last week I had a sh-awd light check in the dashboard that goes off when I turn off the engine but it comes back when I drive and I speed up a bit. do you think there is a relation with the knock sensor?
I have the same issue....when I scanned the code it comes up as the knock sensor, so that's why I'm changing this weekend and hope it doesn't come back on
@@Tite681 Yes, the vehicle is designed that way, as soon as the check engine light comes on, the SH-AWD message will come up as well. Same with the emission message. My RDX just threw a P0325.

What was the error code you were receiving?
P0325 I believe.
@@daho30 Thanks for your quick reply. Did it the error also cause your SH-AWD to go into protection mode?
I think it triggered my sh-awd but I don't remember. I want to say yes

What’s the part number

What code p0355
Not sure. Google search it
No point in taking the fans or bumper off but ok
