What I like about the fight scenes in this show, is they always feel different and new. Lol Superman and bizzario have fought like 3 times now and each fight feels unique and special
This one I consider the best super fight scene of the series, prolonged, powerful, and tactical. Special kudos to the sound team -- those punches sounded like bombs going off.
Agreed. The flash can be repetitive and predictable when it comes to their fight scenes. Apparently I need to start watching superman and Louis 😂

This show really does justice in showing how strong Superman is. That beat down at the very end was brutal!

What I absolutely love about this series is that it captures Superman’s method as a fighter.
During his first few encounters with a new enemy he always holds back trying to subdue them cleanly with minimal force while also gauging their strength but when pushed in their later fights he always manages to clean their clock.
He did that to John Henry, to the reborn Kryptonians & while he never got the opportunity to get a clean fair fight with Tal-Rho he clearly showed his physical dominance when he beat up Tal for hurting Jon a few episodes ago.
And here after being guilted by Natalie for being unable to protect John he’s clearly giving his 100% to beat down Bizarro & he’s taking the initiative in this fight. Striking hard & taking every opportunity to hit Bizarro.
When it's time, he surely does land a serious fucking punch to knock the shit out of anything

This Superman has two decades of experience with super-powered opponents. He not only fights with strength, but with skill and smarts.
I’ll admit that seeing Kit’s head snapped like that, was actually shocking and visceral, like a misplaced puppet head- and seeing Bizzaro’s Ice Vision and Heat Breath was amazing

The fights just keep getting better and better. Was so damn hyped watching this, one of the best fight scenes of both seasons IMO.
Is anyone else happy that Bizarro quickly became a fan-favorite in this show? Sure, the guy doesn't get as many live-action adaptations as he probably should, but it's amazing what TV crews can accomplish with good scripts and respectable visual effects.

@Mark Guerrero no he is the best, Reeves will always be a classic but tyler is the best version. His superman is good but it doesnt come off as cheesy or corny. The fight scenes are insanely good.
The whole arrowverse was complicated. Because for the longest time they were limited to using certain characters. Oliver Queen was like Arrowverse Batman. He wasn't like the comic Oliver at all. So Supergirl was basically a gender swapped Superman. But Supergirl is actually stronger in comics too...

Seeing Ally’s face made me think that she knew who Bizarro was. Of course the two characters are connected.
When Chrissie asked, "What the hell was that?" Lois deliberately looked at Allie. The guilt and fear were plain on her face -- she knows who this is.
Last season everyone thought John henry was the main villain but Lois was exposing Morgan edge as the main villain and John Henry turned good.For this season I assume it's gonna be like that everyone thinks bizzaro is the main villain but lois is exposing ally and she is the main villain and bizzaro helps superman defeat her. That's why at the end of the episode bizzaro said there's some evil person.
Bizarro also made it clear that it was Ally, so yeah... I think you're right. Same formula as season 1
I love the way they are portraying Bizarro because usually they portray Bizarro's as like dumb and not that Big of a threat but this one is straight up like okay there's a threat I'll terminate it and how they were trying to put our attention on him instead of ally and I can't wait to see what they do with him from now on if he is going to help or continue trying to fight.
Yeah, Ally is a version of Parasite from the comics so I'm guessing it's almost a matter of time till she is exposed.
i don’t think Bizzaro is the main villian, but i don’t think he’s in the same role as john henry. i think he’ll continue to push clark to kill ally, and still try to do it himself, so while john was anti-hero leaning more towards hero, bizzaro leans more towards a villian
I agree that Bizarro won't be the main villain, but I doubt he'll be redeemable like Steel was. Everything we've seen so far shows that he's no longer sane. His mind is overwhelmed with rage and grief. He kills without hesitation or remorse. He isn't Clark Kent any more.
Tyler is such a good actor, it's easy to forget he's also portraying Bizarro.
Honestly I normally hate Bizarro in the comics but I really like what they've done with this show and I hope he comes back.
After tonight's episode, he's definitely coming back.
Tyler Hoechlin is truly great in the role of Superman.
In his earlier CW appearances most people agreed he looked like he could do a good job as the character if given a proper chance. He finally got it, and he's running with it.
And I remember most people don't like him when he fight Brandon Routh superman =)).
Routh makes a fine Superman too, especially in his last Arrowverse crossover event. He has the maturity now to evoke Chris Reeve's dignity and nobility as the character. Tyler is getting closer to that as well.
Bro this is why Superman and lois is unlike other cw shows good accurate fights and the family drama not all about team commotion and believing they can beat enemy and then beat them

I mean look at the first season, they're just following the same formula. Ally will be the morgan edge equivalent role-in-the-story wise, while Bizarro will be a steel equivalent.

@@lukeclark3506 since gold kryptonite gives power to people or superman if ever loses them, superman thought it must have opposite effect on bizzaro like taking away power and that’s exactly what happened and so he knocked out bizzaro.
But in comics gold kryptonite can permanently take away powers of kryptonians and makes them human forever and there is no going back, show changed it.

Clark has 20 years of experience so he can fight.
They show off Clark's intellect, he notices that they are opposites and immediately flies to the mines because xK supercharges him

Doctor Falkner worked for Colonel Anderson but was secretly working for Ally Alstom making her mole and got access to the pendant by giving it to Ally. Now Bizarro wants the Pendant back which is no surprise. Now Lois's story, Clark's/Superman's story are all connected to Ally Alstom.
I think there are 2 pendants.
Ally's pendant is there in the flashback while Bizarro arrived with another one.

We figure where both pendant pieces came from we figure out the real story. I think ally might not be who we all think she is. I wanna know who her dad was.
I will say a cool detail I noticed: When the two Supes are having their ice fire breath clash, you can see Bizarro’s mouth is wider open and it sounds like’s exhaling, while Superman is blowing. Exhaling with your mouth wide open typically makes warmer air, while blowing with it is more concentrated and feels cold. Try it against your skin and you’ll see what I mean.

I like how they show how fast Superman is by not allowing us to follow him via camera when he’s flying
Bizarro is weakened unless he gets his Necklace/Amulet back. The amulet gives Bizarro strength It's tied to Bizzaro World. When Superman fought Bizarro on the farm Superman's hands were turning black, he was becoming a Bizarro.
Superman is weakened by shards from his home world Bizarro is strengthened and can change others into Bizarro using Amulet.
The amulet looks similar to Ally's necklace. Definitely a connection.
This is a very good show.
I love his theme, I know it's probably just reversed sound bytes of the main Superman but it's still dope as hell to listen to

Bizarro was clearly at a disadvantage. Without his doomsday suit he’s exposed to yellow sun light which weakens him. When they first fought when Biz had his suit, he was beating the breaks off clark
But also in his first confrontation Superman was holding back while here he is unleashed
The fight scenes are just getting better and better in this show gonna soon be as good as marvel fights...
Bizarro's my favorite Superman villain, and I love the shot of the two breaths fighting ala Big Trouble or DBZ. I want to save it as wallpaper. It's nearly perfect except how the beams of light cast through the building don't make sense at all. Maybe it's an artistic thing, like how villain shots in Batman '66 were shot at dutch angles.
Call me crazy but I think Bizarro is after Ally because she’s Parasite or has something Parasite related within her something along those lines. This would line up with the comics
I love Lois' reaction to seeing a dead body with her head twisted around, it's so realistic. It makes you wonder how many mutilated bodies has she seen in her lifetime?

If it wasn't clear...because our Superman figured out Bizarro is the opposite of him, by flying them to the X-K cave, the X-K will weaken Bizarro instead of make him stronger
Doesn’t really work since X-K doesn’t do anything to Superman. The realisation should have been to take him up and expose him to sunlight.

@@thribs That may have been how it worked in the comics... but on this show, the reason Superman flew Bizarro to the X-K mines was to expose them to it so it either made Superman stronger to knock Bizarro out, or weaken him so his default strength would be enough to knock him out with a few good hits.

I like to see more bullet-time scenes. I have absolutely no problem that the writers seem to focus more on the secondary characters. Let them handle that. I have not been disappointed so far, on the contrary. 👍👍

Probably the longest fight scene in the show so far. Lil too much fast paced editing I think but otherwise really good.

Superman has heat vision and freeze breath while Bizarro has freeze vision and heat breath, should have see that coming.
They are been comic-book accurate with Bizarro's powers been in reverse to Superman's. With the Ice-vision and Flame breath. But I am a little confused, as Bizarro shuld be vulnerable to direct sunlight, beacuse Clark gets further empowered in the presence of direct sunlight. I think they should have given Bizarro that vulnerability, if he is to be the complete polar opposite to Prime Superman.

This may have been stated before but one of the things I really like about this show is his uniform. Dark blue, small emblem, no outside underwear just a small belt...clean looking. I have always enjoyed the uniform changes over the years, but this one like best.
This also explains to me that your worst enemy is you but someone vibrating on a negative side
If I had a complaint about this fight is that Bizarro kept flying/charging at Superman and kept getting knocked down... for a soldier... he is kinda dumb. Keep reusing the same tactic hoping it would result in a different result is... insanity.

I love how in this second fight you can tell Bizarro genuinely doesn't want to fight Clark. Like the way he's pacing before he goes on the attack, it's like he's trying to think of any option other than killing his other self. The only other time we saw him hesitate to strike was when he froze up upon being discovered by Lois, clearly remembering his own wife. He believes Clark is a good man, but if killing him is the only way to stop Superman from preventing Bizarro saving both worlds, it's got to be done.
If Superman didn't have that XK he would of been fighting bizzaro indefinitely

You're right in that Clark did hold back initially, as usual, but in this fight he decked Bizarro repeatedly, and the monster kept getting right back up. Without using x-kryptonite I doubt Clark could have finished Bizarro off.
@@danieldickson8591 , If Clark didn’t hold back in the encounter that got Henry irons injured he would have pressed bizarro back to the point were he used his other powers like freeze vision and heat breath which would reveal that he was the opposite off Clark allowing him to figure out his weakness and exploit it
