I love this small pedalboard and the functions of the pedals. So if I buy the hub and The Deputy, is there a way I can plug in a volume pedal as well? Would I need a TRS Y cable? Ideally, I would like the hub to scroll presets and 1,2, and 3 on The Deputy to go through snapshots. Also, what cables do I need to purchase to make this all work? Thanks!

To answer your question, yes! There is a version of The Deputy that has an expression port that can act as a volume pedal in your stomp. The Deputy in this video is actually capable of the volume pedal, the TRS jack is in the top left corner of The Deputy if you have an eagle eye!

@@prestonpedals Sounds good! Thanks for your reply. I am trying to figure out the cables as well. You have MIDI In from the Stomp going to The Deputy MIDI port. The Hub is powering both The Deputy and Stomp. What power cables were used for those two? Also, from the EXP port and L/Mono on the Stomp - are they both going into the Hub using regular 1/4 cables? Thanks!
@@ckv2501 Yes, so power is the included Line 6 Stomp power supply into The Hub, normal 2.1mm power patch cable to The Deputy from one port of The Hub, 2.1mm to 2.5mm power cable to Stomp.
Midi out from Deputy to midi in on the Stomp
Exp jack is TRS so there is an exp TRS jack on Dunlop can work for volume, or TRS to break out cable for other volume pedals.
Mono or stereo audio input from The Hub to TS or TRS out to the stomp mono or stereo.

@@prestonfree6983 Ok cool. So just for clarification, I can use The Deputy pedal without the EXP jack if I use the EXP jack on the Stomp to plug in a TRS expression pedal. If I needed more than one expression pedal, I could use a break out cable (Y cable) to add more. Then I would use the Hub and plug a cable from that to L/Mono on the Stomp or use both Hub jacks to go stereo. OR get The Deputy with the expression jack and plug an expression pedal into The Deputy and free up the EXP jack on the Stomp and still use the Hub. Is this correct? Sorry for all the questions. This is all new to me. I do appreciate all your help!! Thanks!
@@ckv2501 that all looks to be right! The TRS on the Hub correspond to the L/Mono inputs on the Stomp.
Yeah, I made the Exp option on The Deputy so that you can have one guaranteed expression pedal and the option of either EXP2 or foot switches in the Stomp!
