@@Jon-j1m thanks for reaching out! Based on your post, I would honestly recommend both the Push and the Feather for you. The Push is a great first stage overdrive with great organic tones, giving you more of your guitar and amp. Depending on how you set it, you can get great gritty sparkle or warm saturation. The Feather is incredible for those blues breaker tones and can rival the Morning Glory and other modified blues breaker circuits or modified Timmy circuits. It is clear, punchy, and can cut through any mix with any guitar/amp pairing. My Push is always on and my Feather is my go-to second stage. I would recommend both, but man either are great options!

@@wavescrashingmusic set the preset you any on the HX One and save, the Deputy One recalls the presets you save!

@@MrDoyster buttons 1, 2, 3, and 1+2 recall presets 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the HX One and 5 and 6 if you use an external switcher like my Double Shot! Just make sure your HX One is set to midi channel 1, plug in and you’re all set!

I have been looking for a long time for a usable enclosure like you are looking for. So, the short answer for the moment is unfortunately no, but not a forever no!

Try the Hotone Ambero Control-it is 10” long and as skinny as it gets and 4 foot switches (but no daisy chain of power supply).

The 3rd switch is drilled high, but I kept this one for myself for that reason

The Stomp has a lot more functions, but this is a great solution if one has the HX One and not the Stomp. Thanks for the comment!

At the moment no, which is crazy to me…I hope they change that soon in a software update! For now you can do that with the FS3/4 on the HX One but that’s it :/

That's a limitation of the HX One. It has nothing to do with MIDI switching.

The HX One is different than all the other HX units for midi functions. For instance, the HX One doesn’t have snapshots, just the Flux option on the preset, so this specific Deputy is the best option for the HX One!

Great question! It seems like they assume if you are changing the preset that you WANT it on, but you bring up a great point for your need. Until they include that in a software update, the one work around you could do is have that patch load as a 0% mix, then have your Flux function ramp up or immediately go to the desired mix level so that it is essentially “off” at 0%, then when you want it engaged you Flux it to your desired mix ratio. A wast of the Flex for that effect, but gets the job done!

@@prestonpedals That’s actually crazy to me that they didn’t include a function the super old M5 unit had already. But thanks for the work around suggestion, that’s a good idea. I hope they come up with a software update soon with that kind of capability. Great video btw

Thanks for the comment! That’s exactly it, with this, you can recall presets 1-4 on the fly in any order you need, so no more tap dancing and going through each one to get to the 4th!

Thanks for reaching out! At the moment no, only because if you are using the stomp the wha would be its own block and it would be a challenge to program that. Would you consider a expression/wha pedal like the Hotone? That one you can switch between wha and expression I believe!

At this time (and presumably forever) just one effect. Their whole marketing was one effect, hence HX “One”, but I am hoping they will come to their senses and do at least amps and if beggars are choosers, stereo cabs!

I think there is also noise gate that is always on in addition to whatever effect you choose.

@@prestonpedals yeah, has to do something with the voltage. Since if it doesn't have enough power it doesn't go to cycle power up. I own two hx one and updated one normally, the second one had problems until I connected it to the USB port near power jack. Later on read on their website why.

Hey Casey! This has a 1/4” jack to have a two button switcher for 4/5 for the Stomp or 7/8 for the XL upon order. That way you can have the extra foot switches and use an expression pedal at the same time!

They can be, but I would have to reprogram it myself unfortunately. If you ship it back to me I can do it no problem. It’s not an open system unfortunately!
