Arctis Pro, however you won't be able to utilize chat functions on Xbox unless you Bluetooth your headset to either a phone or PC and connect to the Xbox companion app. Also to note: You won't be able to chat in-game period unless you connect the Arctis Pro via 3.5mm jack, but if you do that then the transmitter won't connect and you won't get sound in the headset. Also worth noting, if you do go with the Arctis Pro Wireless - They will NOT work with the Xbox Series X as the new console won't have optical I/O and that is how you get sound to the transmitter. If you mainly play Xbox and nothing else, the 9x is your only option as far as fully wireless.
Headphones broke within 3 months, never had a pair that physically broke in 40 years. While comfortable, the single arm connected to the cans is weak which eventually is where the headphones started to break on me. No I didn't drop or mishandle them, but I found them flimsy from the beginning. Sound quality is so weak compared to other headphones in this price range. If you need to chat in game, then maybe these headphones can be used specifically for xbox. But for an overall set of headphones where you can still use playing xbox without chat, then do yourself a favor and shop around.
This is my concern as well, my stealth 600 turtle turtles snapped on one side. I did drop them many times and still work well. I was hopping the extends above the ear muffs were metal. I've had my 600s for over 17 months. Might get the stealth 700s.

Although they have cheap build quality one thing I noticed after owning 9x's as a replacement for my turtle beachs is that the superhuman surround sound and the overall sound quality on them is totally irreplaceable. Same with the mic monitoring. The 9xs have some of the worst mic monitoring I've ever experienced and when playing games like rainbow you can't tell if the people above you are below you and vice versa. i got this head set a couple months ago and after using it i’ve had some small issues that go a long way. when i play i listen to music through bluetooth on it and sometimes the audio of the game and chat will cut out but not the music. the heat set is still on and working. on top of that when i turn it on it’s inconsistent when the chat works. sometimes it won’t even have the chat audio even after fiddling with the game/chat dials. and if it does have the audio, sometimes i can’t talk because the mic won’t let me even though i can hear the other person and the game. also sometimes the headset just dies while it’s on the charger. but the headset sounds and feels amazing but when it works just the way i expect it to, then i have no complaints.
This video doesn’t give a correct message with laptops and pcs. Does it connect to Bluetooth yes it does, does it allow you to game on pc and laptops via Bluetooth. No, you need to buy an xbox adapter to get the benefit of this headset on the PC.

Michael E No, however they have many more options for the PS4. Their highest end headset is the Arctis Pro wireless comes with nifty interchangeable recharging batteries works with the PS4. They also have the Arctis 7 which I believe is very comparable to the 9x and that works for PS4 as well. There are plenty of reviews for those two headsets as well on UA-cam.
So I have posted this elsewhere because everyone is raving about the features, without a ‘used’ review, so here: Jsyk, I have a six-month old pair of Arctis 9X that have had what could be classed as light use, have been looked after (because they are not cheap), have been paired to just one console, and have never left the room that they sit in. After two weeks of no use, the chat mix control is broken, only plays either ‘game muted’ or ‘chat and game at full volume’ and sound like everyone is talking through tin cans. For no reason. One session worked fine, next session, broken audio. Even after the recommendations for resetting everything, checking other devices, etc. nothing but £5 sound. SteelSeries have a godawful customer service ticket system, slow responses, and a ‘turn it off and back on again’ troubleshooting approach. I have submitted a ticket again, after no response within the five days that the site states, but I am not holding out hope (go look up SS customer service reviews...) Bottom line is, this particular headset is the worst I have owned, both in terms of comfort and sound quality, and that’s without talking about that ridiculous price point. A company riding the coattails of esports successes, when it comes to headsets.

Here is one thing. I occasionally have problems with connection. But the biggest thing is that they made these easy to break in order to make it easy to make a claim and get a new pair on the way. This tells me one thing. You’re not confident on your product so you assume a lot of people will have claims so you make it easy to destroy. Which suck because I already broke a pair, but it was more upsetting to find out it’s supposed to be easy to break.

Like a xbox controller, it have wireless Xbox connection for play and bluetooth for smatphone/pc/tv.
I returned mine. They sounded ok but nothing compared to Astro A40 TRs.
Did you mess with the settings? Currently stuck between these 2 rn
Can you change the sound with this headset? Like a footstep focus, or music modes?
Let me guess.....you have a wireless turtle beach headset?
Is there anyway that you can change the bitrate on this
help, okay so i connected it to my brothers xbox and it worked great but when i try to connect it to mine it just won’t connect
How are they on xbox series x ?
How about all those reviews that's they keep disconnecting
English plz
Yeah I’m think this is a gamble I want to buy it but I don’t want the disconnect problem
I think it has something to do with the lenght or obstacles between the headphones and the device
I had just sent my turtle beach elite pros back because of the disconnects that was having. Tested everything, could be interference but come on thats ridiculous. I even tested the channels, bands and other with wifi. disconnected devices, etc. Turtle beach went off the deep end, and im hoping these will work.

I've heard that the 7x works with the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Does the 9x work with both next gen consoles?
Yes, also if you have an Xbox check out the new Xbox Wireless Headset that just got released, it seems very good.
Does a charger come in the box or do i have to buy one?
Comes in box, but any micro USB will work with it
What’s better Arctic 9x or the Arctis pro?
Can someone please let me know what’s the difference between the 9 and 9x
One is for PlayStation and one is for xbox.
Has anyone had any problems with connectivity issues? I'm wanting these for Christmas
I heard that if your within 10 feet of a 2.4 mhz wifi system it disconnects
Headphones broke within 3 months, never had a pair that physically broke in 40 years. While comfortable, the single arm connected to the cans is weak which eventually is where the headphones started to break on me. No I didn't drop or mishandle them, but I found them flimsy from the beginning. Sound quality is so weak compared to other headphones in this price range. If you need to chat in game, then maybe these headphones can be used specifically for xbox. But for an overall set of headphones where you can still use playing xbox without chat, then do yourself a favor and shop around.
Is this one better than the turtle beech stealth 700
yes imo i the 9x is better in pretty much everything except for the controls
Mine literally snapped on the right side, I’ve never thrown it, it’s never even touched the floor.
This is my concern as well, my stealth 600 turtle turtles snapped on one side. I did drop them many times and still work well. I was hopping the extends above the ear muffs were metal. I've had my 600s for over 17 months. Might get the stealth 700s.
Same thing with my turtle beach stealth 700s I've had them almost 2 years and the right side recently snapped and the left side is cracking
@@LurkingFear87 2 years isn't bad for a $150 headset. With Corona virus quarantine, plenty were sold out. Decided to get a refurbish 700s from Microsoft for the price of 600s.
@@EL_PADRE_619 Never buying Turtle Beaches again, I've had two different pairs with the same flaw - headband eventually breaks. Ridiculous for a fairly high-end price point on those as well.
@@WithTheDawn I had the sevens for about 3 years and it treated me so well until the right ear cup eventually broke off. Sadly they no longer produce sevens (not the pros) and I'm gonna need to find an equivalent, but I'm definitely returning the 9x's for another turtle beach.
I just got this and it sounds like really quite even after turning the audio up can anyone maybe try and help me out please
Check the EQ settings
Compare these to the turtle beach stealth 700 gen 2 please
I'm wanting to be able to hear Xbox and PC audio at the same time through one headset. Will these allow me to do so if I connect to my PC via Bluetooth?
No for pc you need an adapter not just Bluetooth
What is the headset stand you are using there?
satechi aluminium usb headset stand
I don't speak english, could someone give me a mini summary of the video in english so that I can translate it on google translate please🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Their good overall that last for 20 hours have 3D audio can connect 2 different devices at the same time and overall pretty good audio and mic for $200
Edit: forgot to mention their very comfortable
Can you use it wired on Xbox and what is the setup
You can use it wired but it's Audio only no chatting.
These vs. turtle beach 700stealth gen2???
My opinion on this: I've had a TB Stealth 700 before, and that stupid thing broke in three weeks, despite the meticulous care I put into it. Don't buy anything Turtle Beach, they ain't worth it.
is the quality as good on xbox as on pc?
lucien morielli it’s better on Xbox
Just got these today. They work great on my Xbox Series X but they cut out every couple of seconds on my PC with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows. Not sure what's going on yet but I may have to try getting a new wireless adapter. They are probably the best sounding gaming headset I've owned aside from my Penrose X, which is the absolute best sounding gaming headset I've heard so far. It sounds great, feels more comfortable than any other headset I've had, and has all the features I wanted. It just doesn't work properly yet on my PC.
Did you do the firmware update?
Try connecting them through Bluetooth on the pc rather than the adapter? I dunno
1 x faulty headsets steel series cancelled the warranty claim with no explanation why , no refund 400 down and wont reply to me , absolutely shocking service avoid
The real question is
The 9x or the pro??
The pro is good i had it but astro a50 gen 4 is way better clrystal clear sound I never has this 1 yet
And what is better arctis pro wireless or arctis 7 2019 edition
what's the difference between arctics 9x and arctics 9
The 9x works on Xbox one. The Arctis 9 doesn't not support Xbox connection
Only reason i havent got it yet is cuz of all the connection issues i keep hearing about 😅
The latest firmware update is supposed to fix this. Although I’ve not really had this problem. Disconnected maybe twice in the last 6 months.
If anyone is wondering the arctis 9x is straight garbage. Worst connectivity on any wireless mic i have ever owned. BUY THE 7X IF YOU CAN. STAY AWAY FROM THE 9X RIPOFF
@@alexyockey1810 stop the cap I have this and never had any connection issues

can i use this for ps4
you can use the 9p on playstation but not the 9x
i got this head set a couple months ago and after using it i’ve had some small issues that go a long way. when i play i listen to music through bluetooth on it and sometimes the audio of the game and chat will cut out but not the music. the heat set is still on and working. on top of that when i turn it on it’s inconsistent when the chat works. sometimes it won’t even have the chat audio even after fiddling with the game/chat dials. and if it does have the audio, sometimes i can’t talk because the mic won’t let me even though i can hear the other person and the game. also sometimes the headset just dies while it’s on the charger. but the headset sounds and feels amazing but when it works just the way i expect it to, then i have no complaints.
This video doesn’t give a correct message with laptops and pcs. Does it connect to Bluetooth yes it does, does it allow you to game on pc and laptops via Bluetooth. No, you need to buy an xbox adapter to get the benefit of this headset on the PC.
These headsets are pure crap!!! I’ve tried everything.. from turning the WiFi off, restarting. If you have a smart tv near where you game, avoid this hunk of crap. These headset disconnects and crackles non stop as soon as my wife turns the living room tv on. Just a big let down. I’m returning these ASAP.
Depends on ghz singles around u
Jake_Snake05 why does my WiFi have to matter when I spent 200? I don’t need to keep switching WiFi to fix the interference on a $200 headset. Glad I kept my receipt. What’s even funnier is my router is on the other side of the living room like 10ft away.
I am about to by them but this statement may of changed my mind
It's for real
Update: I have purchased the Hyper X Cloud Flight... the best wireless headset I have owned. Comes with a usb wireless adapter to prevent any wireless interference. I have been totally satisfied with these. Comfortable and Nothing feels cheap about them. Hoping Hyper X releases the Flight S model for Xbox which comes with 7.1 virtual surround sound and 30 hours of battery life compared to 15. If anyone wants a wireless headset, look no further than the hyper x cloud flight. Retails at $159.99. Must buy!! I feel like the arctis 9x are a hit or miss.. some people get a good one, other people (like me) get a bad one. It comes down to luck of the draw honestly
HOW DO YOU CONNECT IT TO PC!!! IVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND CANNOT GET IT TO WORK. YES I HAVE THE MICROSOFT WIRELESS DONGLE PLUGGED INTO PC AND STILL CAN'T GET IT TO WORK. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP???
blove9387 it’s for Xbox man not pc or PS4 that’s why they made this specific headet.
@@vkiroshi2057 if hes got the xbox pc connector it should work on pc as well. thats what the xbox connector is for.

So this doesn’t work with the PS4?
Michael E No, however they have many more options for the PS4. Their highest end headset is the Arctis Pro wireless comes with nifty interchangeable recharging batteries works with the PS4. They also have the Arctis 7 which I believe is very comparable to the 9x and that works for PS4 as well. There are plenty of reviews for those two headsets as well on UA-cam.
Invest in a pop filter sir, or at least get the Mic away from your mouth. All I hear is the saliva moving in your mouth when you talk. 😡
So I have posted this elsewhere because everyone is raving about the features, without a ‘used’ review, so here:
Jsyk, I have a six-month old pair of Arctis 9X that have had what could be classed as light use, have been looked after (because they are not cheap), have been paired to just one console, and have never left the room that they sit in.
I have submitted a ticket again, after no response within the five days that the site states, but I am not holding out hope (go look up SS customer service reviews...)
Bottom line is, this particular headset is the worst I have owned, both in terms of comfort and sound quality, and that’s without talking about that ridiculous price point. A company riding the coattails of esports successes, when it comes to headsets.
never ever gonna use the microphone. already have a quadcast for my mic so i'm good
Just bout these TODAY. Any feed back on how these headsets are? Quality???? I play fortnite btw
Perhaps now you can play a proper game ;)

I bought these yesterday, I joined my friends Xbox party and they said they could keep hearing a whistling sound every 5 seconds.. not sure why or how to fix this ?? Anyone else had this problem ??
You still having this problem?
@@Mike-rj8dg yeah mate, I had to return the headset, exchanged it for a new pair and the same thing happened.. real shame because the headset was perfect
It could be the device your connecting too just has a weird problem if it happens with two headsets in a row
They are okay headphones I give them a 3 star they not loud. all the review I have seen on the internet must of been promotional vids and review. they are comfortable and that's it not worth it theres better out there for the money
Just returned my 700s for disconnecting issues can you give examples of good headsets in your opinion
Can you hear yourself talk through the headset
Yes, with steel series engine that you can get on your computer you can change the level of mic monitoring.
You should not advertise such crap.
Just hour after first connection it disconnects every 5 sec from console.
No possibility to connect wired to your controller so possibly returning next day.
Do NOT buy if you on Xbox
dude I can hear your mouth way too much I'm not hating I'm just letting you know maybe back up from the mic a bit or back up more and increase gain or something i don't know

Someone get this man some water
Here is one thing. I occasionally have problems with connection. But the biggest thing is that they made these easy to break in order to make it easy to make a claim and get a new pair on the way. This tells me one thing. You’re not confident on your product so you assume a lot of people will have claims so you make it easy to destroy. Which suck because I already broke a pair, but it was more upsetting to find out it’s supposed to be easy to break.
I can hear your saliva and it’s triggering
300$ tho “-“
200
I’ve already ordered it lol, it costs $213 with tax and shipping is free
@@GrimsGhostG59 That's why you play with stereo and not surround... The surround sound in ANY headset is simulated, as headphones are designed for stereo use. A proper surround sound headset would have more than two speakers....
200 dollars tho?? Not worth it maybe it would be for like 80 or 70 bucks
