I don’t like how they made Susato into such a nervous wreck just because she’s the defense attorney. Susato is supposed to be calm, collected, and confident in her law knowledge, it’s 80% of her character. I get that she’s pretending to be a man and an attorney, but the way she’s darting around and yelling is kinda pathetic for her
anyway, woo, let’s prove Totally Not Maya not guilty and celebrate that Jezail is dead!!
Not only do she have to do something she has never has done before but she also has to do something very illegal and if they find out everything is ruined. Obviously she would be a nervous wreck, she doesn’t have nerves of steel. It’s kind of sad how you except her to be calm and collected in every situation.
Yeah,Susato may usually be a calm and collected person,but what she is doing is illegal during this time. I'm sure you wouldn't be calm either if you were doing this.
I know she's know for her calm and collected personality. But of course, she will be a nervous wreck because what she's doing is illegal that time and she might get caught.
What she’s doing is straight up illegal at the time I don’t care how calm and collected she is there is no way she can do something like this without being at the very least a little bit nervous it would make her character less realistic if she was calm and collected in any situation she is human after all
Her role was mostly in the sidelines before. Her assistant position is more passive in giving support & guidance to ryuunosuke. He was _still_ the one who had to take an active role in taking the reins and give arguments in court. Now SHE is in that role. SHE is taking the lead this time. It’s a whole different atmosphere. Not to mention pretending to be someone else with the cost of getting caught. Susato’s character was quite straightlaced until the end of DGS1 so doing something highly illegal would’ve given her substantial reason to be very nervous. A real person would have immense courage to go through with that.

Absolutely fucked up seeing Jigoku after knowing just how much he actually knew about the Jezail Brett stuff and how he, in part, orchestrated it (Kazuma was a part of the whole assassination thing but I think he genuinely had no idea that Jezail was a part of the thing he was being roped into)
Aaah, I was waiting for you to finish the game and I wanted to rewatch an LP of the first game before finally watching your translation of the second game. I already know what's going on in this one, thanks to an LPlayer, but I didn't really like her style...

Darting *my* eyes from the screen to the CC will take some getting used to... There are playthroughs with English patches in the text as well, but from what I've searched, neither of them have gotten past the 2nd case, while this playthrough at least seems to cover everything.
The actual patch translations from Scarlet Study are only up to Case 2, that's why. Cases 3-5 aren't translated.
