I thought the footage for this was lost, that's why it's so late in posting. Over the winter, we sent all our farm critters off to freezer camp and decided to change things up.
The main barn is going to be gutted, concrete poured (50 lbs at a time by me!) and the doors replaced with a rollup style.
End result? Farpoint Mowers and More will have a dedicated space. I find, fix and flip small equipment here on the farm and this will really up my game with the ability to store parts and engines for my projects.

I really did want to post this earlier- I lost a ton of files from my computer so I thought this was part of it. Better late than never

Work on a farm/homestead never ends. Critters are much easier to manage at "freezer camp" lol

I agree- if you take it easy one day, the next is that much harder. Freezer camp is a great place

I have figured out that economically the best food source as far as meat goes to raise is chickens on pasture and pigs. I tried the goat thing and rabbits with not much success on either mainly on the rabbits because my family was totally against eating bugs bunny haha.

We did rabbits and did not like dispatching them- They are too cute. We have red tail hawks that made it so we could not the chickens loose- we would lose 2 a day.

Chickens raised this way give them the best life, they are free to do chicken things vs what happens in the big farms.
