- Gay homosexuals Nick and Joseph spoil Lux Æterna (stylized as LVX ÆTERNA) - a 2019 French independent experimental art film written and directed by Gaspar Noé.
Premise: It is a metafictional psychological drama-thriller film centered around actresses Charlotte Gainsbourg and Béatrice Dalle playing as fictional versions of themselves making a film about witches. However, the technical production gone mentally haywire and psychotic outbreaks gradually plunge into ascended chaos.

Ooh Gaspar Noe. Irreversible just blew me away. I’m not even sure how to discuss my appreciation of the movie but I thought it was one of the best films I’d ever seen. It was just shot and edited so differently that I felt like my brain wasn’t just watching a movie, but like I was seeing the world differently for the first time. Man, Antichrist, also with Charlotte gainesbourgh, also had me sorta rethinking thoughts I had about society and man/woman dynamics. I love when a movie can do that, when you feel like you’re getting a download from the universe
Enter the Void is easily my favorite Gaspar Noe film, and Benoit Debie's masterclass of cinematography.
You guys popped up in my feed this week, and saw your film analysis on VORTEX, and LOVED IT! I’ve seen everything I STAND ALONE to ENTER THE VOID. And even though I wasn’t a fan of CLIMAX or LOVE, I’m loving your in-depth analysis of Noé’s 🎞! Now, I’m dying to see LVX Æterna, but sadly I don’t live in NY/LA. Perhaps, I’ll wait to see if I can find on streaming!

Well guys, thanks a lot. I watched your review for some cathartic post-viewing analysis on Lux, which I got, but then ended up watching Black Bear 2020 right after because you mentioned it. Needless to say my night has been kind of rough ^_^'
Edit: also, Black Bear 2020 reminded me a lot of Lost Highway by David Lynch. Just wanted to put that out there.

You guys should review Suspiria! I’d love to hear your thoughts on either versions of the film. The 2018 one is one of my fav witch movies but I haven’t seen the 1977 original.

Reminded me of the chaos that was Irma Vep, only packed tighter. Neurotic French film producers blasting cigs and having complete meltdowns.

She picks some very interesting and dark material. I loved her in Antichrist
@@INXS1985 Antichrist was my first introduction to Charlotte Gainsbourg. She destroyed me. "You BASTARD!". I know Lars von Trier makes some deeply unsettling material, but she was the "x-factor" in that film. Lar's films Dogville and House that Jack Built made a huge impact on me, in a kind of disgusting, detached, blunt & nauseating manner. However, in Antichrist, Charlotte pulled me in close and personal and it was just harrowing on a completely different level.
