I have started binging your videos again. I am so over the click bait/controversial/money seeking videos of many creators. I love UA-cam because I can learn about many topics from people from around the world. I fall in love with channels (ie yours) because not only is the content good, but they give a piece of themselves. Not only do I enjoy the learning, but I enjoy learning about someone else. I wish everyone would through away the box and be themselves. I do care about you, even though we have never met.

Amy, I am a newer content creator and Ive struggled with it a lot, but every time I am struggling, I think of you. You have inspired me so much since I first came across your channel five years ago and I revisit your books every year since then, sometimes twice or three times a year.
I have five sisters and they all know you. You are a household name in my realm and referenced a lot. I call you my sixth sister because you have always been there for me. Sometimes I feel like you know exactly what Im going through and you are posting content just for me. You are my online sister and my role model... I am a lot like you where I ooze insight in my field. I cannot hold back valuable information and I want to see everyone succeed - I am a teacher at heart and in my soul and YOU have helped me to start sharing that information through video, which has just blown my world wide open!
My business is called fancy-free, it's a brick and mortar resale shop. Our mission is "to stoke the wildfire of creative expression." And our motto is "Never settle on a style!" I help women find clothing that they can move mountains in. So with that being said, I think you should express yourself in whatever way you feel at that moment and follow your damn bliss and we will be here for you. And you don't EVER have to settle on a style Amy! You are growing at all times and in every direction.

I am all the way here for this. You have been part of my chosen family since Day One of watching you, back in late 2018. It has been such a gift to not only witness your growth & life journey, but to find myself right there next to you, transitioning from young adulthood to "adulty" adulthood, and then parenthood, etc. I am proud of you. I am proud of me. It's so neat, this moving through time thing. Thank you for reminding us all of the importance of acknowledging our own human journeys.
I can completely relate to this. I’ve only just started to be more consistent posting my videos to grow my channel but trying to follow the “rules” to grow is exhausting, stifles the creativity and the fun of wanting to share what you love doing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🙏🏻💗
This is soooo true for self-published creators. It’s so easy to drown your creativity by all the things you have to learn in order to present yourself in the boxes that are necessary. And everyone outside this world thinks there aren’t boxes but as soon as you try to get published you find out…there are boxes. Many many many boxes. Trying to decide what boxes I absolutely have to deal with and where I can kick them aside. It’s a harder dilemma than I thought it would be. I’m with you, Amy. Be genuine and own the changes that have happened in your life. I love seeing how you’ve evolved and maybe if we’re true to that, the social media world will evolve with us.

Love this! Thank you! I was never in a lane. I post videos for my sake and documenting life. I love going back to it and I relive seeing the dogs that have moved on. Makes me smile and cherish the moment. I always tell my kids you'll always have this videos and laugh and remember how crazy your mom was. I know my channel isn't big at all and I don't get monthly paychecks. I've been sharing my husband's genius mind on our van build then all of sudden I'll show a mermaid video. YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE. I love seeing other peoples lives. I've always said there is a different world each house I pass. YOU ARE ENOUGH! I was told by my life coach YOU DON'T HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO ANYONE. Let that sink in. Go with it!

so relatable. If it helps, as a content consumer, it's really obvious which creators are creating for the algorithm and which are making things for their audience. The former can come across as being very fake and even though the algorithm puts it at the top of the list as the thing to watch, I find myself getting annoyed by it because I can see the manufacturedness of it and that isn't what I vibe with. The content creators who continue to make things for their audience are the ones that I have subscribed and asked for notifications from because I trust what they put out into the world and I'm genuinely entertained by how natural they are. Audiences can tell when they are being talked to or talked at and we can see through fancy lights and filters and cameras etc. when the content isn't quality. All this to say, I clicked on this video of my own accord because I've been following you almost since the beginning and my general experience with your content has always been sound advice, interesting new ways of thinking about or doing things, and a look into who you are as a person, not just a commodity.

I personally like all kinds of content so for me, I would be delighted to see a variety for content from you!! I do know that if you do post anything productivity-related it’s legit stuff, so I really eat that up!! But I do think there are limits if you get too niche so you really do need to have that ability to pivot. I think taking the brakes off your creativity is a really good thing!! I’m here for it!!! The world is weird right now. I think a lot of us are gaining uninvited clarity with a lot of the world and that is amazing! I’ve always loved your perspective on business and I’ve been able to inject your content into my own businesses. However, I will say.. my most favourite video ever was a night time routine. That video alone made me feel like I actually deserved to take care of myself at night
I was a mom of one at the time and I was so lost in who I was as a mom that I ignored my own responsibility to my own self worth. I know that sounds deep but honestly.. I reflect on that often. Continue to be your authentic self.

Hey Amy, you are the person I’ve been following the longest. Through ups and downs in both our lives. Your personality just caught me and I’ve always enjoyed your content and way of talking. But honestly this by far was my favourite video. Although there was no agenda or even main theme, it felt so authentic and like the moment when you feel someone you knew as a person for a long time finally opens up and a friendship starts to grow. Please give yourself all the freedom you need to spread your wings fully. I am excited to watch you take off with whatever is in your heart.
