      That is so great. I feel truly blessed that it may have inspired you to use for your church studio. I would love to see how it turns out. God Bless.

      I too am collecting ideas to build-out a small studio for our church. I visited one of your Amazon links from 3-yrs ago regarding wall rogues. They even have them with the 3D effect. This video and your explanations are superb-thank you immensely! Many blessings and be well.

    OH MY GOSH this is an EXCELLENT VIDEO
    I am in the midst of moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico (US) to RE-Open my Acting Studio... and will probably be making small rooms like this... Needless to say, I too, do not want to hurt the existing walls, and want to be able to put up and take down walls... "SETS"... I use a lot of Foam Board, so I'll do a lot of what you just did here... but use Foam Board instead..
    Thank you so much for sharing this great video.

      You are so welcome. I thought about using 2” thick foam boards for this project too. You can do some really cool stuff with foam. Thanks for watching.

    I've love to see your recommendation/method for taking the prefabricated faux brick panels and making them look more realistic. Thanks for the video, Gene.

      I thought about using 1.5” styrofoam panels and carving in the bricks. Thanks for watching.

      I hope it will help. I was on Amazon and found a large wall mural called Wall Rogues. This may be a less expensive option to having the brick printed. Here is the link I found.

    Wish you would make a set lighting how to video. I'm looking to make my garage/shop my set. It's for woodworking and other projects. I imagine that the large LED shop lights may not be the best for video. Any ideas, or would that work fine?

    • @DIYGene
      @DIYGene  5 років тому +1

      I actually use as much natural light as I can. Then I add to it with an inexpensive 2 light set I picked up from amazon.
