And what's in my head is just how Bach himself would play it, so in other words, any other performer who'd play it, it would simply be a disappointment for me if I were to pay attention to their ways of interpretation, so that being said, since nobody in the whole wide world can play it just like Bach did, it won't make me cry not even a single bit! The only reason why his music puts me to tears is because I hear it just like the way he did!!

I think the performer thought that not as a climax but as an end of a phrase and the beginning of an other. It's a debatable decision but still comprehensible.
Alberto Marcantonio I understand this logical assumption, and if it would be the case, not of bad taste, but please take a closer look at that precise moment: i see the full stop there as an harsh way of pointing out the end of a section, he breaks the tempo. What is suggest is, wouldn' t it have been of much greater taste performing that logical separation at the beginning of the new section, rather than at the end of the previous one, breaking the flow that should be kept during the whole movement?
To be precise, why not doing there just a staccato, rather that breaking the tempo, and just pausing a little, right before the part played on the "piano" keyboard of the harpsichord?

Apart from the 2nd movement, this is such an overrated piece. But man, Bach can do the Italian style better than most Italians lol!
