The difference is subtle but I prefer Jain's technique. Ashima makes use of her flexibility by using high footholds but it's not as energy efficient as Jain who maintains a "squared out" approach. She's very aware of where her axis is, and stays under the holds. Both are world class athletes so either way they kick ass lol
jain is a masterclass of technique and problem solving but ashima is an rare prodigy and artist! sometimes you want concerto, and sometimes you want jazz!
Jain Kim is double age than Ashima Shiraishi who still 14 years old at that time (2017). It's like comparing Muhammad Ali at his prime VS teenager Mike Tyson.
