Thank you! & great camera work made it very easy to see what you were doing! I have a 3year old warmblood with a long thick white mane & just hated the idea of cutting it, you've saved the day!
Of all the numerous videos I viewed, I love your video. I have a new 2 yrs old, mini gypsy cob with a thick long mane. She’s going to her first show. Your horse is stunning. Thank you.
@Liz Hadley a huge thankyou for this easy technique you show. I have a pretty Arabian mare with a long thick mane that'd be a nightmare to braid in small show braid balls (not sure what they're called) and those running French or Dutch braids look wonderful but I've never been able to do them. Plus, I'm a left hander needing to braid my horse on the off side so I've got a few things against me and I was thinking how it'd be a shame if I could only manage a Diamond braid but this has given me new hope in my upcoming first show with her next month as I'm sure I can manage this and it looks great! Thanks for explaining it so well. 😉
My first Andalusian is now 2 and her mane is already incredibly long. Having always had 'normal' manes to do in dressage braids before, Ive found your video to be a real anxiety saver!! I will begin practicing on her now with your method so by the time she is out and about at shows I know she'll look incredible! Thanks for such clarity in your demo
Great video, I have a gelding with a long thick mane ( no way I would ever cut it) and he gets so hot in the summer. Will try this! Braiding and banding just is not as cooling for him, this will get it all the way off his neck. Thanks!
This is such a good technique! I have a Frisian Sport horse so her mane is very long and thick. This seems easy to do and makes sure it won’t come out and less rubber bands to use!
Thanks for the tutorial! I have an Arabian with natural waves in her mane, so yah never cutting that haha! And wanted something sturdier than just a simple french braid for show
Thanks for keeping to the point , best playing video for long manes
Thank you

God. Did this HELP. I was at a huge loss because I didn’t want to pull or roach my pony’s Welsh mane but I couldn’t figure out how to long plait it!

Wonderful , thank you
Our pleasure!
Hi I was wondering what that kind of plait is called on the main? X
where is that halter from? love x
Omg thank you so much I have a welsh D and he has a long mane and I could never get it into a regular rosette
Glad to help!! It’s a super easy technique once you get the hang of it!
Does each little roll have an elastic around it or just the last one on the mane?
Hi, just the last one. You can put one on each if you wish but I only use one at one at the end.
I wish my horse having such long and rich mane…😢
Lovely!!
Amazing!
Yes
Ma'am, its the middle of winter I'm not wetting down ANYTHING.
Nice 👍🏼🌹
Sliczny koni zaplata warkocze a nie boli jak zaplatasz warkocza koniu tak czy nie
Hi, no it doesn’t hurt the horse at all, it’s done very loose, even more than normal plaits. Lg
Przetumaczysz. Mi to po polsku
Tall horse!
