Happy Birthday, Wayne. That long arm you mounted to the transmission is actually a torque arm that connects to the rear axle to keep it from twisting because there is no solid mount for it. That was fairly common for GM cars in that model year. I had a 1978 Chevrolet Monza Spyder that mounted the same way. Nice idea to keep the differential from twisting since there is no frame connection for it.
The goth TransAm is just blacker than black.I love it. I've got my first installment of the Ferrari F1 car. It's really good. You should really consider getting one before they're all gone.
Great build as always Wayne...It is funny how the manufacturers of these kits seem to just make up names for some parts. For instance the part Fanhome calls a "driveshaft protector" is actually called the "Longitudinal Torque Arm"...say that 3 times, lol!...It was an integral part to control rear axle "hop" under heavy acceleration of all 3rd. generation Camaro's and Firebirds (82 through 92). Happy Birthday as well!!!
Happy Birthday. Did you know some fans recently found the Trailer that was used in the TV series, still had the ramp at the rear. Sadly it needs a complete restoration.
Happy Birthday Wayne! Is there any chance to do a video on which part work models you are working on that would be available in the UK/EU and USA or in a certain part of the UK/EU? Great video too!
Happy birthday Wayne. You need to check your instructions, I think you will find there are 4 screws fixing the exhaust to the underside of the car. Check step 6 of your instructions for clarification.
Not sure if you seen fanhome's UA-cam feed but they have some vids up on thene t 4 or 8 stages of kitt and it looks like we are going to get those remaining g wheels and as well assome raisers, simular to what we hD for the delorean. At 34 issues I still haven't started as I wait for those two missing wheels When ido start I know where to come to if I get stuck, yes I will go to lou Dalmaso 😆

Happy birthday/build day
I just subscribed for this model. What kind of oil should I use for those screws? Also planning to make videos of my progress.
I just use a regular 3 in 1 oil
I’m checking out all of your vids! Good stuff man! Do you think this is a good alternative for the DOA Ecto1?
Oh yes. I’m loving this build
Happy birthday Wayne. Hope it’s a good un😎 what’s happened to your ecto 1?
Still waiting for a delivery
Let’s hope you receive one soon😎
Why does Wayne use oil with the screws?
It helps drive stubborn screws into metal
have a great birthday and all US subscribers have a great 4th of July !

Was putting the driveshaft protector on and both screws had the heads come off
Using oil stops that. Saying that when I did the DeLorean the MM screws broke regardless
Really annoying this build isn’t in the US yet, it looks great.
It is now
@@aloneinthedarkl159 oh shit, thanks for the heads up. Just subscribed.
