I just finished stage 48, and I am quitting for the day. Will tackle 49 and 50 tomorrow morning. I might have already said this, but I’ll say it again, that I would be completely lost on this build without your videos. They help so many times to make sense of what the booklets depict.
So once again, we have to remove that which we assembled to install that which could have been installed when we were at that stage. Oh, well... GREAT video! I enjoy stages that take a long time to assemble. Makes you feel like you've done something. BUT you have more will power than I have! I would reconnect the wires to the board just to make sure they all work (again) - and to see what it looks like!
I think it’s a lesser evil. I would rather plug in all the electrics and test them all to know they work before installing them elsewhere in the model. It’s a bit of a pain but I’d rather feel that pain now and know everything is working rather than have to tear it apart later. Just my two cents
Lots of wiring work there but, I'm going to be thrilled to see all that working. Thanks for sharing this with us Wayne. See you next time.
I received and build this pack yesterday and I had to plug them back in to see what it looked like and I can confirm it is amazing but some upgrades would make it look even better, like the voice box doesn't flash when he talks and one of the screens looks crap but ive heard that model modz are working on a screen upgrade, apart from that it's amazing
That was pretty tough. Their magazine photos aren't the best . Thank god we have your videos for support/instruction 👍👍
one hell of a stage that! you have a lot of patience, but then again i think this sort of thing is supposed to be relaxing if i am right.
That box you installed at 14:34 is a tiny little replica of the special effects control circuitry box for the scanner light, as installed by Universal on all the TV prop cars.

They own a lot of screen-used pieces from the show such as electronics (including several versions of that control box), complete cars and the FLAG semi trailer (currently being restored).
Goth car is coming on nicely. The use of resin in electrical components is a process known as potting.

Great video Wayne thought it was going to be a simple set of stages at first but took about 2+ hours for me to do, surprisingly I managed to get the footage down to a 30 minute video 👍

Now I doing these builds it is one of my pet hates to fix something and then later take them out however I am enjoying the build great video as always JP Ps then take them all out for the dash mod 🤣🤣🤣

I have noticed when connecting scanner labeled A to the circuit connector A with all the others connected the scanner doesnt work at all .yet if i move it to the connector next to B it does work all the time until i turn it off

Since those models , like KITT, needs so much time to finish, where exactly do you store them in order to protect until they finished and probably added them in a case?
Do you have any tip on this ?
I buy large plastic containers and keep them stacked in those. One container per build

I have one question. How does the brake pedal work if when pushed down it goes away from the switch?
The switch is behind it. As you push it down the lug pushes down I to the switch
Just rewatching this one as I'm nearly at that stage now, just had 35-38. Noticed you used resin to secure the LEDs into the lower dash console - but doesn't that part get replaced with Mike Lane's monitors mod?

Wayne, my cable F doesn’t light up… Iv ordered a new one, that doesn’t either… does yours light up now? Or will it light up at a later stage maybe.? Or any ideas? It’s plug is the biggest on the board so I haven’t put it in the wrong place.

None that I have heard. I have heard you need a good new set of AAA batteries or funky things start happening
@@WorldofWayneUK yip you defo need them been through 3 sets already......OK I like playin with it lol scanner stopped working rang them they said yes there is an issue with some of the boards they'll send out a new one so my build has stopped til that arrives lol

This is a fiddly issue. but I am looking forward to receiving my pack and I will be extra careful with the wires
if i buy the parts in shop stay it at every 14 day 1 exemplare ? all 110 parts ??? than i need over 4 years to get the modell done.. thats absurd ! fanhome can me give no answer they say can only say about online abonnement something.. lol
It’s not available in stores. If it was it would be weekly so 110 weeks. 2 years
