The Avalon performed well in regards to reproducing airy sonics that suit R&B productions, particularly when allocated to male vocals. But it will not suit every genre or singer equally well. Its strength is how the vowels settle on their pitches. For more consonant based singing styles with throatier vocals, this device is not for you. The 572 performs as always, really great for more natural sounding vocal productions such as the ones found in musicals, world music or exactly this arrangement. The IGS sounded fantastic on female vocals, with a treble range that resembles the 1073 designs out there. But the lack of bottom end will make it impossible to track male vocals and other sound sources that require stronger fundamentals relative to harmonics. The 7602 had fantastic depth on both, female and male vocals, but really could be tighter in its dynamic reproductions. Jazz music could benefit from the detail and depth this device delivers. NEVE 33115 had strong consonants and strong harmonics, but could have been smoother and could have exhibited more bottom end and generally more low level detail. The WAVERIDER WR-72 had the strongest harmonics and differed from all the other ones by focussing onto the lower midrange, thereby sounding a bit bloated. The quality of this device though is undisputable. Japanese craftsmanship. Japanese capacitors etc. will always impact the frequency range by reproducing stronger harmonics. I wished though that it had a bigger dynamic range in order to reveal more low level detail, which gets evident when listening to the female singer. The TG2, Avalon and Waverider were the only ones exhibiting "sheen" which will be a benefit in crowded mixes. For this arrangement, I found the TG2°s treble range to be too harsh and discolored. The CIB had strong second order harmonics and also has a "sheen" button that could have been engaged here. The slight lack of third order harmonics needs to be recovered by its strong equalizer section. The fundamentals and the steady bridge between the 1st and 2nd order harmonics is something that the market has not seen before. The CIB's bias towards even order harmonics makes vowels settle so solidly on their pitches. The RME was not my favorite due to the slightly messy frequency range and hard attack.

私、テクニカのAT80152本をアナログミキサーのマッキー402VLZ4に繋いで(最終的にソニーのビデオカメラに繋ぐ)普段咀嚼音の動画の撮影をしているのですが、
雑音がどうしても入ってしまうのと(現在最近の動画では動画編集ソフトで雑音を半分に軽減してます)、
音かしっかり入っている時と同じ距離で食べているのにうっすらとしか音が入っていない時があります。
原因などもし分かればアドバンス頂きたいです。。
